The first big superhero movie of the summer finally has a streaming release date on Disney+. "Thunderbolts*" will begin streaming on Disney+ on August 27. Fittingly, considering it's the same weekday new comics hit shelves, the film will drop on the streaming service on a Wednesday.

Directed by Jake Schreier, "Thunderbolts*" stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, Olga Kurylenko, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Wendell Pierce.
The members of the eponymous super team are culled from multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe projects including "Black Widow," "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," and "Ant-Man & The Wasp."

Originally conceived as supervillains disguising themselves as superheroes in the nineties, the Thunderbolts have gone through many incarnations over the years both in and out of the comics.
The official synopsis of the film reads,"Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes with Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission. Forced to confront the darkest corners of their pasts, will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite before it's too late?"
While August 27 isn't that far away, if you don't want to wait that long to watch "Thunderbolts*" at home, you don't have to. The film has been available to rent or buy digitally since July 1.
There's also physical releases available of "Thunderbolts*" in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats as of July 29.
In theaters, "Thunderbolts*" proved a critical success but underperformed commercially. The superhero film did well enough with reviewers to earn an 88% critics score from Rotten Tomatoes, but fell far below the usual Marvel blockbuster global box office by taking in only $382.4 million.
But in spite of the underwhelming box office, the Thunderbolts (or New Avengers) haven't been forgotten by Disney or Kevin Feige.
Most of the stars of "Thunderbolts*" will be reprising their roles in the upcoming event film "Avengers: Doomsday." Meanwhile "Thunderbolts*" director Jake Schreier has been confirmed as helming Marvel's "X-Men" reboot.

I Didn't Have Stitch Dancing To KPop Demon Hunters Music At Disney World On My Bingo Card, But I'm So Glad It Exists
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Two of the biggest hits of the summer have been Disney's billion-dollar blockbuster, the live-action Lilo & Stitch, and Netflix and Sony Animation's KPop Demon Hunters. Considering the two blockbusters come from very different studios, you wouldn't expect to find them together, and yet that's exactly what's happening at Walt Disney World. Stitch Is Apparently A Fan Of KPop Demon Hunters A video on TikTok recently went viral from a recent guest at Disney World who was confused to see Stitch dancing at Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland, not to a song from the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack, but to 'Soda Pop,' one of the songs off the soundtrack to Kpop Demon Hunters. It may seem strange, but the whole thing is still pretty amazing. I mean, everybody else is dancing around to the music of KPop Demon Hunters, so why should Stitch be left out? I love this video. The only problem is the small child who wants to meet Stitch, but has to be moved away so they don't get accidentally knocked over by the dancing character. I hope the kid got to say hi later. I haven't even had a chance to watch KPop Demon Hunters yet, but my daughter is as obsessed with the soundtrack like everybody else, so I know the music well. If we'd been there, we would have been dancing along with Stitch to be sure. Both the original post and the comments are seemingly blown away by the fact that Stitch is dancing to this particular song. While the music has been insanely popular for months, the simple fact that Disney doesn't own this particular IP makes it an odd choice. You wouldn't necessarily expect Disney World to give any space to music they don't own when there is so much Disney music that could be used instead. Disney Parks Actually Use Non-Disney Music All The Time While a certain amount of cognitive dissonance at seeing Stitch dance to 'Soda Pop' is to be expected, it's actually not all that unusual for Disney Parks to use popular music they don't own for entertainment like this, even when it runs up against IP that is arguably directly in competition with Disney. Over at Disney California Adventure, when The Mad T Party Band used to perform, one of the songs that was in the setlist for a long time was Pharrell Williams' 'Happy,' a song that was written for the second Despicable Me. I'm sure a lot of people thought of the Illumination Animation movie when that song played, even though they were standing in the middle of the Disneyland Resort. And who knows, at the rate at which Disney continues to buy things, maybe they'll end up owning KPop Demon Hunters, and then they can dance with Stitch at Disney World every day. 24 Hilarious Gumball Moments That Adults Will Love
As someone who grew up on ridiculous kids shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly OddParents, and Chowder, my sense of humor is geared in a particular direction. When I saw The Amazing World of Gumball was streaming on Disney+, I thought: What the heck, I'll give it a shot. And, oh, man, I wish this show were around when I was a kid. After almost seven years, the show has returned under the name The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball. New name, same wild antics. Here are 26 moments from The Amazing World Of Gumball that got a legit laugh out of me: The Gumball creators love a good car crash gag, and that is still alive and well in Season 7. I immediately knew I was in good hands with this scene where Gumball's dad goes to retrieve a burger in the street and the situation quickly escalates. Gumball's mom becoming an anime fighter in one frame Speaking of frames, this was Gumball's immediate reaction to his mom saying, "Gumball, the phone, please." The older seasons have plenty of classic moments. That time Gumball offered a and awkward, secret handshake with Principal Brown. From the silence to the noises, it is my kind of humor. When Gumball and Darwin used unconventional teamwork to make their sandwich. Their pompous laugh afterward sent me. When Jamie Russo opened up Gone with the Wind, thinking it would be literal wind, but instead was Clark Gable as Rhett Butler saying, "You should be kissed and often by someone who knows how." There couldn't have been a funnier line for that moment. Also, Jamie taking wayyy too long to read the paper compared to Anais is wayyy too relatable and hilarious. (I'm Jamie) Gumball trying to join the swim club and just straight up drowning because he can't swim had me dying. The hard cut to his blurry vision was too much. Forgetting people's names is hard, and Gumball trying to remember this blue guy's name had me cackling. Everything about the paintball outing was iconic. Gumball having to leave a man behind was too much. The distant paint explosion was icing on the cake. Speaking of fighting, sometimes role play can go too far. Gumball and Darwin playing with their food got way too dark. This is a kid's show, right? Being a dad is hard. Being a dad and trying to talk to your daughter is its own challenge. Mr. Watterson, having an internal crisis on trying to "say the right thing!" to his daughter, was expertly done. What the hell was this "Sussie Song" even supposed to be? This show is so unhinged. Simply, the hard cut to this reaction. Gumball's vision for the play is every kid who loves them some action. From Indiana Jones to The Avengers to Mortal Kombat, the lad has vision! Gumball giving CPR to the gaming system and blowing on the cartridge was brilliant. Maybe the most clever joke in a show stacked to the brim with them. Gaylord Robinson violating international peace agreements and going back to jail was a whole experience. MAKE IT RAIN! (Making it rain with a check is brilliant) Darwin tells Gumball to "make a wallet sound" and proceeds to deliver the most Pokémon-like wallet sound ever. Also, both Darwin and Gumball picking the worst hiding spot possible, and Darwin proceeding to add a second bus stop is my kind of ridiculousness. "It's the glass ceiling Mom was talking about!" When the parents hijacked the school bus, and Tobias's dad was speaking with a voice changer, only for it to fizzle out and reveal his deep voice. The entire imaginary fight was a blast, but the eerie handoff of the plasma grenade from Tobias had me floored. "We gotta go. It's getting dark out." *Hard cut to a perfectly sunny afternoon* "What's the surprise?" *the tiniest boo* And lastly, and probably most popular, "Do you mind if I put a poster in the window?" What is your favorite Gumball moment? Comment below! Watch S1–6 on Disney+ and S7 on Hulu.

New On Netflix, Disney+, And More: 6 Streaming Shows And Movies To Watch This Week (August 11 - 17)
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. I hope you like animation. It's rare to see a week of streaming releases that seems to have a coherent theme across platforms, but somehow we're getting exactly that this week. Nearly every major streaming release from the major providers is animated this time around. Although the one non-animated series this week may be the most hotly anticipated. Alien: Earth - August 12 (Hulu) In the era of streaming, we have seen numerous theatrical franchises debut with high-profile TV series. This week, Alien brings its first series to everybody with a Hulu subscription. Alien: Earth, as the title implies, will see the Xenomorph wreaking havoc at home rather than in space. Sydney Chandler and Timothy Olyphant star in the new show from Noah Hawley. Marvel's Iron Man And His Awesome Friends - August 12 (Disney+) If you have young kids and a Disney+ subscription, then I'm going to guess that you, like me, have watched more than your share of Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The good news, if you've watched every episode 100 times, is that a new production in the same vein as Marvel's Iron Man and His Awesome Friends will make its Disney+ debut this week. Fixed - August 13 (Netflix) Coming off the incredible success of Kpop Demon Hunters, as well as other notable animated successes like Ultraman: Rising, and the films of Aardman Animations, animation fans should have a Netflix subscription. Netflix may have its next big animated movie in Fixed, the story of a dog who wants to have one last adventure before being neutered. It comes from the great Genndy Tartakovsky. This one looks to be more mature than Dexter's Laboratory, but no less hilarious. Sausage Party: Foodtopia, S2 - August 13 (Prime Video) It's entirely possible that there was once a raunchy adult animated movie about food called Sausage Party, and even if you remembered that, you probably forgot the film got a spinoff TV series, Sausage Party: Foodtopia. However, if you have a Prime Video subscription, you'll discover that a second season of the show is arriving this week. Limitless: Live Better Now - August 15 (Disney+) It's going to be a while before we get to see Chris Hemsworth as Thor again, but the man is certainly keeping himself busy ahead of Avengers: Doomsday. His NatGeo series Limitless returns this week with a new season that promises to reveal secrets to help people live better lives. I can't imagine a better reason to watch a TV show. Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical - August 15 (Apple TV+) Peanuts has been one of the few franchises that you can watch with an Apple TV+ subscription, and in addition to the classic holiday specials, we've seen a steady increase of new animated productions starring Charlie Brown and the gang. The latest is the thing that every major series gets to eventually, the musical episode. Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical will see everybody going to camp and putting on a show. If this week doesn't have anything that excites you, don't worry. The rest of August will still have shows and movies worth checking out, including he new season of Peacemaker, The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox, and more. Solve the daily Crossword
