Official: Mallorca sign Leeds United starlet
The player in question? Mateo Joseph.
Joseph, for those not familiar with his name, is a Spanish youth international, who has been plying his club trade with the aforementioned Leeds since departing Espanyol back in the summer of 2022.
The striker played something of a bit-part role at Elland Road this past season, en route to the Whites securing promotion back to the Premier League.
All told, Joseph racked up 39 Championship appearances (11 starts), chipping in with three goals and three assists.
And along the way, he evidently did enough to pique the attentions of those behind the scenes at the aforementioned Mallorca.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of the Bermellones that, after a week of negotiations with Leeds, they have landed the 21-year-old on loan for the season ahead.
