Pakistan Welcomes US Designation of BLA & Majeed Brigade as Foreign Terrorist Organizations

Rana Atef Pakistan hailed Washington's decision to designate the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and its suicide unit, the Majeed Brigade, as Foreign Terrorist Organisations, calling it a reaffirmation of the global commitment to combating militancy. The announcement, which also adds the Majeed Brigade as an alias to the BLA, comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen counterterrorism cooperation and enhance regional security. Pakistan said in an official statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: "Pakistan welcomes the U.S. decision of designating Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Majeed Brigade as Foreign Terrorist Organisations, also adding Majeed Brigade as an alias to BLA. Pakistan had proscribed Majeed Brigade as a terrorist entity since 18 July 2024. BLA/Majeed Brigade is involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Pakistan, including the heinous Jaffer Express terrorist incident and Khuzdar bus attack that resulted in the loss of precious lives. Pakistan remains a steadfast bulwark against terrorism. Our sacrifices have secured critical counter-terrorism successes, not only for the country, but for regional stability and global security. Pakistan remains unwavering in its resolve to protect its citizens and eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We remain committed to cooperating with the international community to overcome this common challenge." read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani

Egypt's Grand Mufti Urges Global Action to End Gaza Bloodshed, Calls for Mercy for the Vulnerable

Mohamed Mandour Egypt's Grand Mufti Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad delivered an impassioned appeal Monday at the opening of the 10th International Fatwa Conference, urging the world to 'have mercy on the vulnerable people of Gaza' and to end what he described as the unjust and aggressive shedding of Palestinian blood. 'From this platform, we extend a heartfelt appeal to all people of conscience in both East and West,' the Grand Mufti said, calling for a genuine humanitarian stand to halt the violence. 'We cry out to what remains of human decency in this harsh world—where tyranny prevails and the logic of power has overshadowed the values of justice and mercy.' He warned that those responsible for the destruction of homes and the displacement of Gaza's children, women, and elderly would face divine justice. He praised Palestinians for remaining steadfast in their land, holding firmly to their dignity and truth, and expressed confidence in an inevitable victory despite delays. The Grand Mufti also criticized what he called the painful irony of the 21st century, in which the world boasts of technological revolutions and human rights, while in Gaza, 'the most abhorrent forms of persecution and aggression are perpetrated.' read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani

IFA Chief Urges Training Competent Muftis, Calls for Urgent Action to End Gaza Suffering

Mohamed Mandour Prof. Koutoub Mustapha Sano, the Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, affirmed in his address at the opening session of the 10th International Fatwa Conference that cultivating the 'righteous mufti' is both a religious obligation and a pressing contemporary necessity to safeguard intellectual security and uphold the higher objectives of Islamic law. He called for a comprehensive review and modernization of religious, social, and human sciences curricula to address the escalating challenges of the modern era—combining the depth of the sciences of revelation with the breadth of human knowledge—and for harnessing the tools of artificial intelligence in the service of religion and humanity. Dr. Sano also urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, along with all nations and peoples, to take urgent action to end the suffering of the Palestinian people, particularly in besieged Gaza. He underscored that supporting the Palestinians and feeding their hungry is not charity but a binding humanitarian and religious duty, and that defending their just cause is a moral responsibility. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid Videos & Features Story behind Trending Jessica Radcliffe Death Video News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani
