Celebrity hairdresser Aalim Hakim recalled a story about being shot with a prop gun while working on a film in Canada. He said that he was hired as a hairdresser, but found himself working as an assistant director when the real ones fell ill. The film was Dus, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt. In an interview, Aalim recalled that Abhishek jokingly told him that he'd shoot him in the leg if he messes up in any way, and actually ended up shooting him while fooling around with a prop gun.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Aalim said, 'I was doing everyone's hair on the film Dus in Canada. For some reason, all of Anubhav Sinha's assistants fell ill. They roped me in as a replacement. Abhishek Bachchan became an assistant, and I became Abhishek Bachchan's assistant. I did the job for five days. I would do their hair as well, and also maintain continuity between shots. Abhishek said, 'Aalim, agar tune baal banate banate continuity miss ki, I'll put a bullet in your leg'. He had one of those prop guns.'

'Housefull 5' box office collection day 6 (LIVE): The multi-starrer movie has a decent beginning on Wednesday after crossing Rs 110 crore

After 'Housefull 5' had a good opening day number along with jump over the weekend, all eyes were on the weekday numbers which would play a crucial role in determining the film's fate. But it has managed to hold decently well on Monday and Tuesday. Of course, while a dip on Monday was expected, the film will manage to sail through if it manages to stick to a double digit number this whole week. Plus, there's also some growth expected on the second weekend. The film had an opening of Rs 24 crore on Day 1. On Saturday and Sunday, it minted Rs 31 crore and Rs 32.5 crore respectively. On Monday though, it saw a dip of around 60 percent, making Rs 13 crore. On Tursday, which is day 5, it again saw a drop but atleast remained in the two digit numbers. The early trend of Wednesday also looks similar to Tuesday. On Day 6, till the morning and afternoon shows, it has made Rs 2.35 crore. The total collection so far, in India, according to Sacnilk is Rs 114.1 crore. It should be able to make minimum Rs 10 crore on day 6 and remain the same on Thursday and Friday as well. The film being a multistarrer and shot on a cruise with some exquisite production values is mounted on a huge budget of over Rs 225 crore. Thus, it's very important for the movie to continue to hold up well. It was expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in four days which it has managed to do very well. The collection and trend for the film is much better than Salman Khan 's 'Sikandar'. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Ready-to-Move In 2/3 BHK @ ₹5400/Sqft Undo Just 10 min to Annanagar Undo Fully equipped with Modern amenities Undo However, the coming days and the upcoming weekend will be crucial. Aamir Khan 's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' is releasing on June 20 and that may serve some competition to it. The number of screens for 'Housefull 2' may also reduce, which may lead to a dip in the numbers. But till then, the film has an open window to continue to perform well at the box office. However, the trade feels that had this one been a family entertainer, just like its previous parts, it would have done even better in some sectors. This time around, it has a bit of an adult comedy with an element of a thriller. Hyderabad, June 11 (UNI) The Telangana High Court on Wednesday granted bail to four convicts in the Obulapuram illegal mining case, providing a temporary reprieve from the seven-year prison sentence handed down by the CBI Court. The High Court suspended the sentence awarded by the Nampally CBI Court on May 6 and granted conditional bail to former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, his personal assistant Mefaz Ali Khan, BV Srinivas Reddy, and V D Rajagopal. As per the High Court order, each convict must furnish two sureties of Rs 10 lakh. The court also directed Gali Janardhan Reddy to surrender his passport and barred all the accused from leaving the country. The CBI Court had earlier sentenced all four accused to seven years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 each in connection with the 15-year-old illegal mining case involving Obulapuram Mining Company. Additionally, Rajagopal, a former government official, received an extra four years of imprisonment and another Rs 20,000 fine due to his official misconduct. Leena Maria Paul denied bail in Rs 200 crore scam case by SC; cites health issues

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) Actress and model Leena Maria Paul has faced a legal blow as the Supreme Court dismissed her bail plea in the Rs 200 crore financial fraud case tied to notorious conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Leena, who is a co-accused in the case, sought bail on health grounds, claiming she has been suffering from tuberculosis and has been imprisoned for over three and a half years. According to Asianet News, the Supreme Court, however, refused to intervene at this stage, citing that her bail application is already under consideration by the Delhi High Court. The bench noted that it would be inappropriate to entertain her plea while the matter is still pending before the lower court. The court directed her to approach them again, if necessary, after the High Court delivers its verdict. Leena had argued that her prolonged custody, coupled with her deteriorating health, warranted immediate relief. However, the court emphasized procedural discipline and instructed her to wait for the outcome of the ongoing High Court proceedings. The actress had highlighted that she has been in judicial custody since 2021 and is suffering from a chronic illness, which she believes should be considered a valid ground for bail. Despite these arguments, the top court remained firm on not bypassing the due process already in motion.
