HE'S made no secret of being a petrolhead since he started acting – and now Guz Khan is about to hop into the driver's seat as the host of a new car show.
The series, which began filming earlier this month, will see the comedian joined by guests with flash customised and modified motors in a look at the weirdest and wackiest cars across the UK.

Guz Khan's Custom Cars, which is expected to launch on Quest next year and is being made by the company behind BBC hit The Repair Shop, could also feature celebrity guest appearances much like the BBC's Top Gear.
An insider told me: 'Every type of motor, past, present, and future will make its appearance in this exciting new format, with Guz guiding audiences through a rabbit hole of truly fascinating cars.
'Guz has been attempting to modify his own car so to help inspire him, he will embark on a journey to discover cars as unconventional as their owners.
Casting teams for the series worked around the clock to source contributors for the series, who were willing to have their wheels displayed in front of the nation.
'Expect to see the unexpected when it comes to these modified motors — this isn't your regular car series.
'He will test drive their creations and learn more about what modifications can do for cars, as he makes his own journey from 'car purist' to 'car modder'.
'And of course it won't be without elements of comedy, it's only natural with Guz in the hosting seat.'
It's a new string to Guz's bow after his hit BBC sitcom Man Like Mobeen came to an end earlier this year after five series.
While it will be the first time Guz has hosted a car show, he has previously starred alongside Tinie Tempah in Channel 4's Bangers: Mad For Cars, as well as appearing in Top Gear Magazine.

I've Bean killed again
HE'S died 25 times so far during his career, including being bombed and pushed off a cliff, drowned and shot, stabbed, beheaded, crushed and impaled – and now Sean Bean is set to kick the bucket once again.
The veteran actor, who has become notorious for his characters being bumped off, faces his most grisly death yet, being dismembered by Orlando Bloom.

In new Prime Video flick Deep Cover, Sean plays a bent cop who will be shot in the head before his body is cut up into pieces – just months after he was killed off in BBC drama This City Is Ours.
Luckily for Sean, who has died in every blockbuster franchise he's previously appeared in, including Game Of Thrones, James Bond and Lord Of The Rings, he's not worried.
He recently told the Radio Times: 'It came to a point with all the memes, and I thought, 'Maybe I should stop dying as much.'
'It doesn't bother me any more. And, you know, I'm not really dead.'
Fearne: I've Cot no clue
SHE rubbed shoulders with the Spice Girls and Paris Hilton over her two decades on telly - but that doesn't mean Fearne Cotton recalls all her career highs.
The former Top Of The Pops presenter, who starred in ITV quiz show Celebrity Juice and documentary series Fearne And… admits she often needs a nudge as to who she's already met.

Fearne told the Dish podcast: 'The opportunities I got, and the situations you would end up in – like, Victoria Beckham in Harrods, we went Christmas shopping.
'I made this series where I'd follow people around. I ended up in Paris Hilton's house, spinning on her stripper pole.
'I have to sometimes Google if I've met someone, and it could be a big celebrity, like Kylie Minogue'.'
Is Matt to make the cut?
AFTER losing more than SIX stones in weight and dropping from a size XXL to a medium, Matt Lucas is planning to go under the knife.
The Little Britain comic, who began his diet in 2021 after ballooning during the Covid-19 pandemic, was left with excess skin after the dramatic weight loss, and has been gearing up for cosmetic surgery to remove it.

Speaking on his Making A Scene podcast, he said: 'I've lost about 42 kilograms.
'One weird thing since I've lost the weight, is I've gone down a shoe size. They're less fat now, that's for sure.
'But when I look down I still see a really juicy belly, and I don't feel that I've lost the weight.
'I do have loose skin, so maybe I'll have something done surgically just to make it a bit more presentable.
'I fluctuate [in weight], so I don't feel like I've reached the end of that journey.'

Contractor's pothole repairs criticised by Cambridgeshire council

Some pothole repairs by a major highways contractor have been called "ridiculous", "unbelievable" and are failing within weeks, according to a local County Council said its £51m-a-year contract with M Group had not delivered the "service levels expected or required".In documents seen by the BBC, when reviewing individual repairs council officials have seen "very poor workmanship", and in one case claimed the "photo say[s] it all".M Group said it was working "collaboratively" with the council to deliver more than 50,000 pothole repairs annually "within required standards". In March, council highways committee papers stated "response times and quality of work is a continued concern" when referring to their M Group contract, which is for a range of services including pothole of the fixes criticised in council audits - obtained through a Freedom of Information request - was on Meadow Way in Wimblington. A group of six or so small pothole repairs was labelled "ridiculous" and the papers said they should all be made into one patch, rather than a series of smaller square patches that Page said she and fellow residents were unhappy about the state of the local roads, adding: "Why they can't do a complete overhaul of the whole road I don't know; all comes down to money I'm assuming." In May, repair work was carried on Priory Road in St Neots town weeks later, the council went out and said it was: "Not very good at all, areas marked up by [council] officers have not been carried out, dimensions smaller than marked out, clearly shows where pothole needed repair as breaking up but wasn't carried out."They said the "potholes have only been completed 14 days and already fail", concluding that it was "very poor workmanship in my opinion". Andrea Curkovic, who lives opposite the Priory Road potholes, said workers "keep coming back and doing repair work and it never seems to last long". "I'm just concerned the work that they're doing is pointless. Realistically perhaps at this point resurfacing the road might be more valuable than the work that they're currently doing."Later that month, a council official said the potholes repairs outside Quy Mill Hotel spa in Stow-cum-Quy "in my opinion are very poorly laid/marked out". Alex Beckett, chairman of the council's highways committee, said: "We are always pushing for better quality."We have been challenging our contractors hard. I have been pleased with the way they've responded to that; we have seen the quality is improving."We do somewhere between 40,000 and 60,000 pothole repairs every year. Not all of those will be perfect."What's really important is when those pothole repairs do not meet our standards we do not pay for it or we get them redone."The contract is up for renewal in 2027, and Beckett said the council was "looking at all options".Matthew Riches, operations director at M Group Highways, said they were "committed to continuous improvement"."We work collaboratively with Cambridgeshire County Council to deliver more than 50,000 pothole repairs annually, within required standards and the contractual terms determined by our client," he said."We are mindful of the funding constraints and wider highways maintenance challenges under which our client operates."He said they had "consistently exceeded 98%" in reaching contractual key performance indicators. Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper announces the birth of his third baby with adorable snap as he reveals little one's sweet name

Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper has announced the arrival of his third baby with his fiancée Taya, sharing the little one's sweet name. The farmer, 27, took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal that Taya had given birth to a baby boy named Ashton on Thursday evening. The couple are already the proud parents to son Oscar, four, and two-year-old daughter Willa. Sharing a photo of their son wrapped up in a blanket and a knitted hat, Kaleb proudly wrote: 'Baby number 3. everyone meet Ashton weighing 6.13lb born 14th august at 6:28pm at chipping norton maternity.' While he also posted another snap showing him tucking into a Chinese takeaway in the hospital while Taya cuddled Ashton. The experience farmhand added in the caption: 'Ps don't worry I bought the amazing midwife's a Chinese as well'. Kaleb's baby announcement came after Jeremy Clarkson already spilled the beans in his column for The Sun. The presenter revealed that his right hand man had become a father for the third time and also detailed the moment Taya notified him that she was in labour. Jeremy gleefully explained that Kaleb told her to hang on and he would be there as soon as he had finished harvesting the field. Despite quipping that the response was 'very farmerish', the Top Gear star went on to say that Kaleb still managed to finish in record time to dash off and be by Taya's side as they met the newest member of their family. However, Jeremy managed not to let slip the couple's choice of moniker, as he revealed that his own suggestion has quickly been shot down. He explained how he and one of Kaleb's pals had suggested calling the baby after the field where the farmer had been harvesting when the exciting call came through that Taya was in labour. But he went on: 'Nice idea, except for one small detail. The field was called Deadman'. Kaleb and Taya are childhood sweethearts having got together in 2016, with Kaleb then proposing on Christmas Day 2022 and the couple becoming parents in March 2021, with the arrival of son Oscar. Previously opening about becoming a father, Kaleb confessed he felt 'useless' during Oscar's birth, as he felt he didn't know what he was doing. He told The Times Magazine: 'It was f***ing terrible, because when I'm helping that cow, I know exactly what I'm doing. I can bring the calf around to the mum and so on. 'Now, when Taya was giving birth, I felt useless. I'm seeing her in pain having one of my kids.' Kaleb added that he was glad to have had children while relatively young, as he could still be 'energetic' when they were older. He said: 'I wanted a girl and boy, which I've got and am very grateful. Then when I get older I can go down the pub with them, or out on the tractors, and I can still be energetic.' Asked if he could be having more fun now, he said: 'I'll make all the money now, hopefully have a farm, then chill out, go partying and be in Ibiza, though I can't think of anything worse than being in a nightclub.' The proud parents are yet to tie the knot but Kaleb previously revealed that they've been planning since the birth of their second child and hope to walk down the aisle soon. While he sweetly paid tribute to his long-term love, gushing: 'My other half is the reason I am where I am today'.

Jeremy Clarkson reveals his right hand man Kaleb Cooper told JD Vance's security to 'f*** off' after US vice president's Cotswolds convoy disrupted his farming duties

Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper told JD Vance 's security to 'f*** off', during the US Vice President's trip to the Cotswolds last week. The divisive politician's visit with his family has attracted mass criticism among locals, who complained of disruption caused by Vance's extensive security team. Among them was Jeremy Clarkson, who revealed that the one–mile no fly zone set around Vance's manor house rental had impeded the drones filming scenes for his Amazon Prime show, Clarkson's Farm. Writing about the visit in The Sunday Times, the Top Gear star, 65, explained that both he and farmer Kaleb, 27, had let loose some choice language at the security teams attempting to derail their work duties. Jeremy explained how several roads were blocked off and cars pulled over in order to allow Vance's huge convoy through. However, he revealed that when Kaleb was instructed to pull over his tractor in the wet weather, he offered a rather foul-mouthed reply. He wrote: '[Vance] arrived in a cavalcade of 27 massive black American SUVs and this was escorted by a shoal of British police remoras on motorcycles whose job was to shoo everyone out of the way. 'One of the people who they ordered to pull over was Kaleb Cooper, my tractor driver, but it was starting to rain and he urgently needed to get his load of wheat into the shed, so he invited his tormentor to eff off. And carried on regardless.' Kaleb complained about the incident earlier this week, in the comments section of one of Jeremy's Instagram posts showing the no-fly zone. The farmhand – who has his own land and has spun out a successful entertainment career of his own – fumed that his wheat had been soaked after he'd been held up by Vance's security team. He wrote: 'My wheat got wet in the trailer last night as the convoy stopped me in the rain in Chippy. 'I could easily have went on my way and got it in the shed without getting in the way.' While quipping about Vance's conspicuous presence in the area, he added: '[If] he had just drove around in a VW Polo nobody would know who he was.' Meanwhile, Jeremy appeared to take notes from his right hand man, as he revealed that he also shared a profanity-laden chat with one of Vance's security guards. The farmhand – who has his own land and has spun out a successful entertainment career of his own – fumed that his wheat had been soaked after he'd been held up by Vance's security team Detailing how the guard had told him he wasn't allowed to fly his drone due to the restrictions, the presenter explained he had simply replied: 'F*** off' - to which the security man said: 'OK.'
