In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Puneet had described how gracious Amitabh Bachchan was as he called Puneet to meet him at the hospital. He said, 'The greatness of Mr Bachchan, he said he wanted to meet me. When he called for me, I was in tears. I kept thinking, 'All this happened because of me.' He said, "I was in tears but he told me, 'Puneet, it's not your fault.
Accidents happen during action scenes.'' Puneet added that Bachchan then recalled an incident with Vinod Khanna. He said, "Uss avastha mein he told me he was shooting for an action scene with Vinod Khanna and had to hit him with the glass. During the rehearsals, 10 times, it went fine but during the take, the timing went wrong either by him or Khanna and the glass hit Khanna's chin and he got 7-8 stitches and I was feeling the same thing which you're feeling today."

KGMU's ‘Class of 1980' reunion rekindles nostalgia
1 2 Lucknow: Laughter, nostalgia, and emotional reunions marked the grand celebration of the 1980 batch alumni of King George's Medical University (KGMU), who gathered at a city hotel on Kanpur Road to relive their golden days. Held under the theme "Celebrating 45 Years of Friendship, Service, and Memories", the two-day reunion brought together Georgians from across India and abroad. The event was meticulously coordinated by Dr SK Mathur, Dr Saurabh Chandra and Dr Sanjeev Kumar from Bareilly, covering all aspects, including accommodation, transportation, photo sessions, souvenirs, and cultural programme. Additionally, a digital e-directory of batchmates was unveiled during the event. KGMU Vice-Chancellor Prof Soniya Nityanand joined the celebrations and shared memories of her student life. "My fondest memory is the opening lecture in Brown Hall. It was a jubilant feeling to start a journey in such a prestigious college," she said. Reflecting on her journey from MBBS to becoming VC, she added, "If I'm born again, I would like to go through the same path." Prof Apjit Kaur, former Pro-VC, shared that their night group study rituals — taking turns to keep each other awake with tea — were her brightest memories. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Why Seniors Are Snapping Up This TV Box, We Explain! Dr Mathur and Dr Chandra took the group back to their first day at KGMU — filled with document chaos, white coat pride, and hostel pranks. They recounted ragging traditions like the numbered salutes to seniors — including the legendary 13-number salute done flat on the muddy ground. "What began with fear turned into lifelong mentorship," Dr Mathur said. Hostel tales, anatomy bones taken home during vacations, and the famous line "Pata kar lenge" — meaning "we'll figure it out" — had everyone chuckling. Souvenirs included a red-wrapped Bhagavad Gita and a group photo wall clock symbolising timeless bonds. As alumni spoke of their families, careers, and the lessons KGMU gave them, the event turned emotional. "Meeting after so many years, it felt like no time had passed. These reunions remind us of who we were and how far we've come," Dr Mathur summed up, his voice heavy with feeling. Who was Ed Kelce's girlfriend Maureen Maguire? Meet the woman who quietly transformed the Kelce family behind the scenes
While the spotlight usually shines on NFL stars like Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, one remarkable woman stood quietly in the background, making a lasting impact on their lives. Maureen Maguire, the late partner of Ed Kelce — Travis and Jason's father — wasn't a headline-maker or football analyst. Yet, her presence brought calm, wit, and warmth into a family often caught in the media storm. The woman behind the Kelce family 's emotional core Maureen, who passed away peacefully on August 2 at age 74, was more than just Ed Kelce's girlfriend. She was his travel companion, best friend, and a late-blooming football enthusiast. Born in the Bronx and raised in Pennsylvania, Maureen led a life defined by grace and quiet strength. Her obituary honored her as a 'devoted mother' with 'impeccable taste,' but to Ed and the Kelce family, she was a grounding force. — sportsgossip (@sportsgossip) In a world full of noise, Maureen Maguire offered silence that mattered. She was not a woman dazzled by fame or distracted by cameras. During the whirlwind of the 2024 Super Bowl, as Taylor Swift posed for a photo with Ed, Maureen quipped, 'Hey, that's my boyfriend,' a moment that made even the pop star laugh — not because she was seeking attention, but because that was just Maureen: humorous, grounded, and sharp. Maureen Maguire's legacy lives on in quiet moments and family laughter Maureen Maguire wasn't just present during wins; she was present during life. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 3BHK Transformation Possible for ₹4.5 Lakh? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot,' she once joked to Ed, showing her quick wit and natural charm. Maureen never needed a spotlight to leave her mark. She helped remind the Kelce brothers that the most meaningful victories don't always happen on the field. Her humor, support, and love will continue to echo in their memories — not through highlight reels, but in family breakfasts, sideline chats, and stories that will live on in Kelce folklore.
