Vidhu Vinod Chopra's documentary Zero Se Restart Wins Top Honour At Indian Film Festival Stuttgart
Zero Se Restart has officially captured hearts across borders. The film was honoured with The German Star of India 2025 (Audience Award) at the 22nd Indian Film Festival Stuttgart. Voted for by the audience, the award recognises outstanding achievements in entertainment for a feature film, making this victory especially meaningful as it reflects the love and connection from real viewers.
The recognition also celebrates filmmaker Jaskunwar Kohli, who directed the film that chronicles the behind-the-scenes journey of 12th Fail one of the most talked-about Indian films in recent years.
Veteran filmmaker and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra shared, 'I'm deeply thrilled that the raw emotion and sincerity of Zero Se Restart have resonated beyond borders. I'm truly grateful for the overwhelming love from the people of Germany."
Jaskunwar shared, 'It feels surreal to have audiences halfway across the world choose our film as their favourite. Thank you, Stuttgart. Thank you, Germany. This was completely unexpected and incredibly heartening. It brings to mind VVC's line from Zero Se Restart — 'Tayyar raho yaara, kabhi bhi kuchh bhi ho sakta hai!' (Be ready, my friend—anything can happen at any time!)."
Zero Se Restart beat out a strong slate of films to take home this prestigious honour. More than just an award, this is a celebration of resilience, storytelling, and the magic of filmmaking that connects across cultures.
Zero Se Restart is currently streaming exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 200 countries and territories worldwide. It explores the making of 12th Fail, offering viewers an intimate look at the passion, hardships, and hard work that went into its production. The documentary goes deeper into the emotional and creative process that drove the film's success.
The film 12th Fail, which opened in theatres in October 2023, is based on Anurag Pathak's best-selling novel. It depicts the amazing true story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The documentary builds on this basis, providing genuine insights into the team's efforts, setbacks, and accomplishments throughout the film's production process. The title, Zero Se Restart, highlights the idea of starting anew, getting back to fundamentals, and pulling inspiration from the original dream or ambition.

Amitabh Bachchan And Rekha's Unseen Pic From Silsila Shoot Resurfaces; Reddit Reacts
Last Updated: A rare throwback photo of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha from Silsila's Kashmir shoot has gone viral, reigniting discussions about the film's bold casting. A rare, unseen photo of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha from the sets of Silsila has surfaced online and taken fans on a nostalgic ride. The image, believed to be clicked during the Kashmir schedule of the 1981 romantic drama, shows Amitabh sitting behind the wheel of a vintage car, wearing oversized sunglasses, a woollen coat, and a crisp shirt. Rekha, seated next to him, looks equally elegant in a knit sweater, her gaze direct yet soft, matching the mystique that has always surrounded her public persona. The viral image, shared on Reddit, instantly caught the attention of cinema lovers, not just for its vintage charm but also because it features the two stars during a time that continues to remain one of Bollywood's most talked-about chapters. Directed by Yash Chopra, Silsila brought together Amitabh Bachchan, his real-life wife Jaya Bachchan, and Rekha in a love triangle that mirrored what gossip columns had long speculated. In the film, Amitabh plays a writer named Amit, who marries Shobha (Jaya) under tragic circumstances but cannot forget his former lover Chandni (Rekha), leading to an emotional and moral dilemma. What made Silsila especially bold was not just its subject but its casting. Yash Chopra had revealed in a later interview with Shah Rukh Khan that casting Amitabh, Jaya, and Rekha together was 'one of the most challenging decisions" of his career. He added, 'It was one of the most interesting, one of the biggest, one of the most challenging casts in a film ever done in the history of Indian cinema." Reports at the time suggested that Amitabh had allegedly vowed not to work with Rekha again, making Silsila an unexpected reunion. For fans, the film blurred the lines between real and reel, leaving audiences captivated. Decades later, this rare photo has only added fuel to the enduring curiosity around the trio's off-screen dynamics. While neither Amitabh nor Rekha ever publicly confirmed any romantic involvement, the legacy of Silsila and their chemistry on-screen continue to intrigue generations. When Did WWE Legal Clear Brock Lesnar For His Return At SummerSlam? Revealed
Last Updated: Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam 2025 after a two-year hiatus due to legal issues, setting up a potential feud with John Cena during Cena's farewell tour. Brock Lesnar has made a spectacular return to WWE, ending his two-year hiatus in dramatic fashion at the conclusion of SummerSlam 2025. Known as 'The Beast Incarnate," Lesnar had been away from the ring due to his involvement in the Janel Grant–Vince McMahon lawsuit. Now that the legal matters are resolved, Lesnar is back in WWE storylines, sparking significant excitement. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reported that Lesnar was legally cleared to return by WWE about four weeks before his SummerSlam comeback. Meltzer stated, 'Four weeks ago, WWE Legal cleared him (Brock Lesnar)" and noted that WWE avoided press conferences to keep his return a secret. Lesnar's last WWE appearance was at SummerSlam 2023, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. Appropriately, he made his comeback just as Rhodes defeated John Cena in a brutal Street Fight to win the Undisputed WWE Championship on Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025. As Cena stood alone, Lesnar's entrance music played, stunning the crowd. He entered the ring and delivered a devastating F-5 to Cena, setting the stage for a high-profile feud. Triple H later revealed that Cena specifically requested to work with Lesnar during his farewell tour. A Lesnar vs. Cena showdown now seems likely to be his first major programme. However, Cena is not the only potential target. In January 2024, former WWE employee Janel Grant sued McMahon, alleging that the wrestling company's founder was involved in sex trafficking and subjected her to sexual acts characterised by 'extreme cruelty and degradation." The lawsuit also mentions Lesnar, alleging that McMahon offered Grant to him for sexual encounters. A spokesperson told USA TODAY Sports that Lesnar's return is an 'attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug." 'For far too long, abuse was allowed to thrive under WWE's leadership. Instead of addressing this issue, WWE has done nothing to hold those responsible accountable. This attempt to sweep misconduct under the rug will backfire," the spokesperson said. 'We look forward to the full set of facts, including those concerning Mr. Lesnar, being revealed in a court of law where they belong." view comments Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. When Dhanush Recalled Falling For Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth: 'She's 100 Times Simpler Than Her Father'
Last Updated: Before their divorce, Dhanush praised Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, saying she's "100 times simpler than her father" Rajinikanth in a resurfaced interview. While Dhanush is currently sparking dating rumours with Mrunal Thakur, a resurfaced interview has reminded fans of the actor's heartfelt praise for his former wife, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth. The Raayan actor and Aishwaryaa, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, were married for 18 years before announcing their separation in 2022. They share two sons – Yatra and Linga. Long before their relationship ended, Dhanush had spoken fondly about Aishwaryaa in multiple interviews. One such conversation has now gone viral again, where he compared her to her legendary father. In an old interview with The Times of India, Dhanush opened up about what attracted him to Aishwaryaa when they first met. The actor, who tied the knot with her in an arranged setup back in 2004, clarified that it wasn't her lineage that caught his attention, but her personality. 'I don't see her like that," Dhanush said, when asked if her being Rajinikanth's daughter played a role. 'I like her simplicity. If you think her father is simple, meet Aishwarya. She is 100 times simpler than her father. Aishwaryaa treats everybody as an equal and can be friends with anybody. I like the fact that she is bringing up our sons extremely well." Dhanush and Aishwaryaa had their first child, Yatra, in 2006, followed by their second son, Linga, in 2010. Despite being one of the most powerful couples in South Indian cinema, they largely kept their private life away from the spotlight. Over the years, Dhanush also shared a close bond with his father-in-law, Rajinikanth, who had spoken publicly about his admiration for Dhanush's talent and work ethic. While fans were heartbroken to learn about their separation in 2022, the couple filed for divorce officially in April 2024 and were legally granted separation in November that year.
