Former Super Bowl champion predicts drama for Steelers' Aaron Rodgers, DK Metcalf
Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf could have trouble in paradise before the end of the 2025 season — at least that's what former NFL defensive end Chris Long believes.
Long, a two-time Super Bowl champion, recently appeared on The Rich Eisen Show and brought up Rodgers' infamous red line drama when discussing his pairing with Metcalf:
'When he was in New York — and I'm not taking a shot, but I don't love seeing stuff that should be worked out in the locker room, worked out on podcast,' Long said. 'Metcalf has not always been the most surgical route runner. You talk about if we end up in a situation where somebody's not on the right side of the 'red line', famously, infamously, I could see some stuff like that happening — and the growing pains being tough.'
The situation that has Long worried stems back in Week 6 of the 2024 season, when then-Jets QB Rodgers criticized WR Mike Williams for running the wrong route — as he should've ran the 'red line.'
Rodgers and Metcalf have been bonding heavily throughout the offseason so far — hopefully enough to prevent Long's worrisome prediction from coming to fruition.

Matthew Berry's Top 100 Overall Rankings for 2025 fantasy football season
Matthew Berry and Co. discuss player ADPs they expect to rise this summer, highlighting Trevor Lawrence in a pass-friendly Jags' offense, Jauan Jennings' surge with the 49ers, and a 'free lottery ticket' down the board. Now that the NFL draft is behind us and training camps are ramping up we have a much clearer picture of the NFL landscape, it's time to update and expand my overall rankings from Top 50 to Top 100. While these rankings are obviously adaptable, they are for a 1 QB league with full PPR scoring. And as we get closer to fantasy draft season, these rankings will expand again to a Top 200. Matthew Berry, As always, please let me know what you think of the rankings – what you agree with, what you don't – on social media where I am @MatthewBerryTMR on all forms of social media (X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky) except the Bleacher Nation Fantasy App where I am merely @MatthewBerry. I'm sure you have opinions on who should be on this list, who shouldn't, who is too high and who is too low. Hit me up. Matthew Berry's Top 100 Overall Rankings

Cam Newton calls out New York Giants rookie Cam Skattebo
Cam Newton calls out New York Giants rookie Cam Skattebo Former NFL MVP Cam Newton isn't pleased with the current population of NFL players these days. Not for their lack of ability or dedication, but for their little regard when it comes to the history of the game. The institutional knowledge that gets passed from generation to generation is waning, and Newton has become a bit frustrated that the new crop of NFL stars has lost their frame of reference regarding the players who went before them. When Newton heard that New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo did not recognize Hall of Fame wide receiver Calvin Johnson, Newton just had to speak up on his podcast, 4th&1. "They not fans of the game," the former NFL MVP said, via Sportskeeda. These kids -- they playing video games all day. Have you ever heard of Chad Ochocinco? Have you heard of Terrell Owens? Have you heard of Steve Smith? Have you heard of Prime Time? "They're looking at everything on YouTube. And granted, to Cam Skattebo's defense, a lot of what he sees has been on probably YouTube. And he plays a sport that's a mass sport." Newton then suggested that anyone who wants to be a professional athlete should dedicate "30 minutes or an hour" a day to the sport they are going to play. Newton, 36, has been out of football for four years already but keeps current with the game through his podcast and other media ventures. You can add him to the growing number of former athletes who scratch their heads over the sparse knowledge among their descendants.
