Cristiano Ronaldo asked Georgina to marry him by giving her a huge diamond ring—one of the biggest ever worn at a similar event.
Georgina told her fans on her official Instagram account that she was getting engaged by sharing a picture of her ring with the words "Yes, I do... in this life and all my life."
Even though she had been seen wearing an engagement ring before, the couple hadn't said they were getting married until Monday.
In an interview on the Netflix show "I Am Georgina," Cristiano Ronaldo said that he was waiting for the right time to ask her to marry him. "It could happen in a year, in six months, or even in a month," he said. "I am confident that it will definitely happen."
