Saiyaara Actor Aneet Padda Oozes Glam In Strappy Top, Glossy Lips
Last Updated: Aneet Padda, star of Saiyaara, is gaining attention for her chemistry with Ahaan Panday. She posted a cute selfie wearing a yellow strappy top. Saiyaara star Aneet Padda is everyone's latest crush in town. The actor's girl-next-door looks and her steamy chemistry with Krish Kapoor, aka Ahaan Panday, have been making headlines ever since the film's release. On Monday, Aneet posted an adorable selfie wearing a strappy top, oozing glam goals. Aneet Padda was seen wearing a yellow strappy top, which she amplified with blushed cheeks and glossy lips. With hair falling on her shoulder, the actor stared right onto the camera frame. Take a look at her photo here: While Saiyaara marks Ahaan Panday's first-ever tryst with acting, Aneet Padda already had a foot in the door with ad films and projects like Big Girls Don't Cry and Revathy's Salaam Venky, where she acted alongside Kajol and Aamir Khan. Recently, in a viral snippet from her chat with Mid-Day, Aneet spoke about bizarre experiments she tried at school – including one when she shaved both her eyebrows and plucked her eyelashes. She said, 'I don't know if it's a school memory exactly, but I remember this one time we had our annual theatre going on. And for some weird reason, when I came back home and had to remove all of my makeup, I decided to also shave both of my eyebrows and pluck like eight of my eyelashes. Then my mother comes home and she's like, 'Beta, what am I going to do with you? You have to go to school tomorrow.' And I'm like, 'I don't know, maybe it's trendy.' And ten years later, people are actually shaving their eyebrows now, so maybe I was onto something back then." Meanwhile, Saiyaara broke records by earning Rs 21.25 crore on Day 1. The film has outperformed the first day collections of Murder 2 (Rs 6.95 crore), Aashiqui 2 (Rs 6.10 crore), and Half Girlfriend (Rs 10.30 crore). The film has also surpassed the the collections of Ek Villain (2014), which collected Rs 16 crore on its opening day, by becoming Mohit Suri's biggest opener ever. From 2225 screens in week one, Saiyaara is now running in packed 3650 screens. The film has crossed Rs 300 crore on the global box office. Saiyaara is backed by YRF and directed by Mohit Suri. The film released on July 18, sans much promotions. First Published: July 28, 2025, 20:06 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Will there be a Happy Gilmore 3? Here's what director Kyle Newacheck said
The release of Happy Gilmore 2 is one that has been thirty years in the waiting. Following its premiere on Netflix last week, fans have already started wondering whether they can get their hopes up in favor of receiving a third part of the beloved franchise anytime soon. Fans are buzzing about a possible Happy Gilmore 3 after the success of Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix.(Netflix/X) The first film, originally released in 1996, follows the story of a hockey player who discovers his hidden talent for golf and uses that to his advantage to help raise money for his financially-strained grandmother. Following in the same spirit, the sequel tells the tale of him trying to raise money for his daughter's ballet school. Will there be a Happy Gilmore 3? As of now, there is no official confirmation on whether such a film is in production. When asked if producer and star Adam Sandler had any plans of making a third sequel, director Kyle Newacheck revealed to The Direct, 'I don't know. I wouldn't be too forward. I would be too forward to even think about it right now. The first one took a 29-year gestation period before they figured out what the second one is. I feel like whatever I come up with right now is going to be, not it, homie.' Since the recent installment took thirty years for getting the right script and three years of production (Sandler started working on the script in 2022), chances of a third sequel being released or starting anytime soon look incredibly slim. Such a decision would be based on the kind of audience reception the second installment receives. Is Adam Sandler interested? Sandler has not publicly spoken about working on Happy Gilmore 3, although he is interested in creating a sequel for another one of his beloved movies from the past: The Waterboy. 'That would be fun as hell. I love Mama. I love Henry Winkler. I mean, come on. He's always gonna be Coach Klein to me. But, I don't know, man, it's funny. I don't know what the ideas [would be],' he said in a 2022 interview with Variety's Award Circuit podcast. Interestingly, this is the same place where Sandler had announced plans for Happy Gilmore 2 as well. As of now, Sandler's schedule is relatively empty, with only one film (Noah Baumbach's Jay Kelly) scheduled in his upcoming releases. His untitled project with the Safdie brothers hasn't received any updates since 2023. By Stuti Gupta
