Halsey is SLAMMED for uncomfortably raunchy post in bed with fiance that fans say should be 'illegal'

Daily Maila day ago
Halsey was criticized for sharing an exhibitionist snap of her shirtless fiancé Avan Jogia embracing her bare legs while they were in bed Tuesday.
The 30-year-old pop star - who boasts 70.7M social media followers - captioned her Instagram slideshow: 'There's babygirl everywhere for those with the eyes to see.'
The 33-year-old former Nickelodeon star replied in the comments section: 'Air is unbreathable without you in it.'
'Babygirl' was likely a reference to the time the betrothed couple donned fetish wear to attend the December 11th premiere of Nicole Kidman 's erotic BDSM thriller of the same name in West Hollywood, CA.
Halsey (born Ashley Frangipane) was slammed for the PDA post by Instagram users like @collectsunrays, who commented: 'First slide should be illegal.'
'I shouldn't have had to see that,' Instagram user @_old_accountttt blasted. 'At least give a warning.'
Instagram user @ali.ez385 posted crying laughing and fire emojis and wrote: 'What's the first pic, Halsey?'
'Mind you I just opened this app,' Instagram user @crowded_mind commented.
And Instagram user @enis_no scolded: 'Halsey that's not appropriate! There are kids on Instagram.'
The three-time Grammy nominee and Avan - who originally met in Barcelona - announced they were engaged September 12 after a year-long whirlwind romance, and she 'just knew I wanted to marry him.'
'I never wanted to be married - never,' Halsey scoffed on the October 30th episode of Call Her Daddy.
'I can't even explain why [I want to marry Jogia] you know what I mean? Because I do I love him in such a way that I feel like we would be just as fine if we didn't, but something about that makes me want to do it more.'
The groom and bride-to-be both happen to be biracial - Avan is half Indian and Halsey is half black.
The Ego songstress also included a puzzle snap of her son Ender Ridley Aydin from her five-year relationship with babydaddy Alev Aydin, which ended in 2023.
When little Ender turned four on July 14, Halsey gushed that he was 'the best thing I've ever been a part of.'
'Everyday I am left speechless and awe-struck by how kind, insightful, gentle, funny, creative, curious and cool he is,' the About-Face Beauty founder captioned her Instagram slideshow.
'I shouldn't have had to see that,' Instagram user @_old_accountttt blasted. 'At least give a warning'
'Mind you I just opened this app,' Instagram user @crowded_mind commented
And Instagram user @enis_no scolded: 'Halsey that's not appropriate! There are kids on Instagram'
'His favorite painter is Van Gogh. He loves A Tribe Called Quest and The Cranberries. He collects tiny treasures and stores them in jars. He is the first person to notice if a friend gets hurt. He remembers names and favorite colors, and his is yellow because he is joy. He is absolute magic.'
Halsey previously romanced Evan Peters, Yungblud, G-Eazy, Machine Gun Kelly, Lido, and Matty Healy.
Meanwhile, the Autopsy of an Ex-Teen Heartthrob poet previously dated his Zombieland co-star Zoey Deutch between 2012-2017 and his Now Apocalypse co-star Cleopatra Coleman between 2017-2021.
The New Jersey native will next portray Mandy Starr in Tony Tost's long-delayed crime thriller Americana, which hits US theaters August 15 and UK theaters August 22.
That's technically two years after Americana's world premiere at South by Southwest and three years after production wrapped in New Mexico.
Lionsgate's modern-day western - formerly known as National Anthem - also stars Sydney Sweeney, Paul Walter Hauser, Eric Dane, and Simon Rex.
Halsey then concludes her $3.5M-grossing, 31-date For My Last Trick: The Tour at Turkey's Yenikapi Festival Park in Istanbul on August 28, which will be filmed.
The I Never Loved You belter will also reunite with her MaXXXine director Ti West for Amazon MGM Studios series Bloodlust that she's creating, writing, and producing.
'I started the pilot a few years ago and Amazon wanted it and they took it and now we're getting it on the road,' Halsey told THR on Sunday.
'There's not so much that I can say but it's really cool to be a part of a project that I don't face. It's quite relieving. [I'm] just behind the scenes, just the puppet master. I don't have to do my make-up.'
As for Avan, his upcoming acting projects include Amazon MGM Studios' eight-episode erotic thriller 56 Days and A24's sci-fi horror The Backrooms directed by Kane Parsons.

Kelly Clarkson cancels Las Vegas residency dates over ex-husband's illness

Kelly Clarkson is taking a pause from the spotlight to focus on her family during a difficult time. The American Idol champion, 43, announced in February that she would be taking up a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, following in the footsteps of Celine Dion, Adele, Madonna, and Sir Elton John. But the Grammy-winning singer and talk show host has now announced that she is postponing the August dates of her Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The move, she said in a social media post, is due to health issues her ex-husband is experiencing. 'While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,' Clarkson wrote. 'I appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.' The postponed shows were scheduled for August 8-9 and residency is expected to resume in November, with performances set for the 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th. According to Caesars Palace, fans with tickets to the postponed shows can hold onto them for newly announced 2026 dates or request a refund within 30 days. This isn't the first disruption in Clarkson's schedule this year. Earlier in 2025, she missed ten episodes of The Kelly Clarkson Show without explanation, prompting speculation about the cause of her absence. Additionally, at the beginning of July, she cancelled a Vegas show just 90 minutes before she was due to take to the stage. She began in a statement to her Instagram followers: 'We have been working 24/7 to make Studio Sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans. 'I am beyond grateful that you always show up for me and I am devastated to have to postpone tonight and tomorrow's opening at Caesars. 'The prep and rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice. I want the shows to be perfect for y'all and I need to protect myself from doing serious damage so I am taking this weekend and next week to rest up so that we can deliver what you all deserve.' Now, her newest statement suggests that behind the scenes, she's been navigating more than just a packed schedule. Clarkson shares two children – daughter River Rose and son Remington Alexander – with ex Brandon Blackstock. The pair married in 2013 and separated in 2020, with their divorce finalized in 2022 after a protracted legal battle. While Clarkson has largely kept the details of her family life private, glimpses into her post-divorce reality have surfaced in recent interviews. In a January 2024 conversation with People, Clarkson described the split as 'extraordinarily hard.' 'You feel alone,' she said, 'and it's just a blessing to be able to have that outlet for those emotions that are overwhelming,' referencing her confessional album Chemistry, which explores heartbreak. On a March 2025 episode of Kylie Kelce's Not Gonna Lie podcast, Clarkson opened up further about the emotional toll of co-parenting, revealing how her children seem to give more leeway to their father when he's absent. 'Even from a young age, we didn't teach them, just innately you're like . . . he's allowed to be somewhere, but you're not?' she said. 'That is like real interesting.' More Trending She added, with a touch of sarcasm: 'Co-parenting is fun! It's like, 'Oh, he couldn't come cause of this.' I'm like, 'OK, cool. What! Do you think I just leave and just sit in the park all day?'' Clarkson's divorce from Blackstock, who once served as her manager, was complex. In March 2023, she was awarded $2.6million in a dispute over improper commissions paid to Blackstock, after a California ruling found that he had secured deals that should have gone through her licensed talent agents at CAA. Though both parties reached a confidential settlement in May 2024, the saga had dragged on for years. For now, though, Clarkson is putting her role as a mother ahead of her on-stage duties. While some fans expressed disappointment at the delay, many have rallied around her with support, echoing her message of prioritising family first. Got a story? We can't help our bodies sometimes. You know, we get sick, and that happens. "But thank y'all for showing up. We are so excited. This is my favourite residency, my favourite show I've ever put together, because I love being in the studio."

Calls for 90s tattoo necklace to return as Maya Jama and Millie Bobby Brown join trend

People have called for the black choker necklace to make a comeback for the second time after Maya Jama was seen wearing the nostalgic piece in the final episode of Love Island: Aftersun Maya Jama strutted onto Love Island Aftersun channelling her inner Majorcan goddess, in a black netted one-shoulder floor-length gown, her hair tied into a ponytail and her neck graced with a simple necklace. To my surprise, she'd opted for a thin black piece of fabric around her neck. Lo' and behold, the return of the choker necklace. ‌ Chokers have been around for decades and date as far back as the late 19th century. They've re-emerged several times, in the 1920s and 1940s and most notably in the 1990s in line with punk, grunge, and alternative culture. Drew Barrymore, Winona Ryder and Gwen Stefani were among the many celebrities getting involved with the choker trend. ‌ Then in the mid 2010s, the choker made yet another resurgence among young people on social media platforms like Tumblr and Instagram, and now it seems Maya is steamrolling their return again 10 years later. It comes as The Mirror recapped Love Island 2025's shocking moments during second most complained about series. ‌ READ MORE: 'I switched my perfume to a cheaper alternative - and I've never had so many compliments' Maya wasn't the only one sporting the retro look, Millie Bobby Brown blew her Gen Z fans away with the 'new' accessory in a selection of promotional snaps from her most recent shoot with Essentia Watera, opting for a tattoo net black choker necklace, which, if you were a 90s or 2010s teen, you'll be all too familiar with. ‌ Lily Gladstone stayed true to her choker, telling People Magazine that she still wears the same one she bought in middle school. 'The necklace that Chloe wears, the black choker that's kind of stretchy and looks like a neck tattoo,' Gladstone said last year. 'I still have mine from middle school and I definitely rock it whenever I can.' Ariana Grande, Zoe Saldana and Elle Fanning wore diamond encrusted ones at the Oscars earlier this year. But for those on a tight budget, don't fret, it looks like the black plastic, painfully tight, interlaced chokers are making a retro revival. The #chokernecklace tag currently has over 180k videos on TikTok. In one viral video from last year, creator @daniellemarcan wished for the traditional black choker necklace to make a comeback. Another user in the comments confirmed they never stopped wearing theirs and said "Have been wearing the same one since 2018." A third user shared a TikTok video wearing hers, writing the caption: "Petition to bring choker necklaces back!!" Help us improve our content by completing the survey below.
