Paris Hilton uses adorable video of son and daughter as a simple reminder

Miami Herald3 days ago
Paris Hilton's two kids will always be babies in her eyes.
The 44-year-old reality star turned entrepreneur and DJ shares two kids — Phoenix Barron, 2, and London Marilyn, 1 — with her husband Carter Reum, whom she married in 2021, according to People.
On July 17, Hilton took to Instagram to share a then-vs-now video of her two little ones.
'How they think I see them…' she wrote over recent clips of the two kids, including one of Phoenix giving his little sister a kiss on the cheek while on a boat.
'How I'll always see them,' she wrote over older clips of the two as babies during an outdoor photoshoot.
Hilton used the memories as a simple reminder of how fast time flies.
'Phoenix and London are growing up so fast,' she wrote in the caption. 'A good reminder to cherish every moment.'
Some of Hilton's fans shared similar sentiments in the comment section.
'My 4 children are adults now, how I would love to go back and do it all over again. Make the most of every precious moment, the years go by so fast,' one fan wrote.
'Mine are 10, 12, 14 and 25 and I cry sometimes because it's gone so fast. In the moment, I thought I'd remember everything!' another fan commented.
The reminder comes a few days after Hilton posted an Instagram video of Phoenix holding his little sister's hand as he walks her around a room in their pajamas.
'You're such a good big brother. Do you love your sister? Is this your best friend?' Hilton can be heard saying in the background.
'Built-in besties for life,' she added in the caption. 'Moments like these melt my heart.'
Hilton and Reum first met when they were in their 20s, according to People, but it wasn't until they reconnected in 2019 that their romance began.
The two sparked rumors at a Golden Globes after-party in 2020 and went Instagram official a few months later. Reum proposed the following year and they tied the knot in November 2021.
In January 2023, the couple welcomed their first baby — son Phoenix — via surrogate, per People. London followed in November of the same year.
On June 27, Hilton shared another video of her babies playing in a room together on Instagram.
'I love the way they crack each other up,' Hilton wrote over the video, which showed London and Phoenix having an inaudible conversation filled with giggles and mumbles.
Hilton has been enjoying a lot of time with her two kids this summer — and they make regular appearances on her social media.
'We're gonna go on a yacht with the kids for a few weeks in Europe and then London, Wimbledon, and just spending time with the kids in the summer,' she said in an interview with People, published June 9.
As for whether the couple will welcome a third baby, Hilton has previously expressed an interest.
'I would love a sister for London because my sister and I have such a close relationship,' she told E! News in April 2024.
'I don't know. I'm just enjoying them both so much right now. But that would be really amazing,' she added at the time.

David Beckham Gives Self Bald Patch, Victoria Response

David Beckham had a bit of a hair disaster at the weekend, with the star accidentally giving himself a bald spot after the head fell off his clippers partway through a trim. To make matters worse, David's wife, Victoria Beckham, didn't exactly sugarcoat how bad his new look was, with the former Spice Girl unable to hide her true feelings... And luckily for us, Victoria went so far as to film the immediate aftermath of David's mishap in a video that was later posted to his Instagram account. In the short clip, David is hiding the bald patch with one hand while looking genuinely upset. Victoria asks him: 'What have you done?' 'The thing of the clippers fell off my clipper,' the British soccer legend sighs. 'You were trying to give yourself a haircut, and what have you done?' Victoria asks again, and at this point, David reluctantly removes his hand to reveal what had happened. As Victoria starts to laugh, David quickly covers the patch again and insists: 'It's not funny!' 'Let me see, let me see,' Victoria tells him, before joking: 'I mean, the hours of content the kids have got from this...' 'The clipper head fell off,' visibly sad David repeats, and Victoria matter-of-factly replies: 'It does not look good. I'm going to always be honest with you, it looks terrible.' Posting the video to his 88 million followers, David wrote: 'ITS NOT FUNNY 🤨 So this happened yesterday whilst shaving my head and as you can hear my wife didn't find it funny at all 🙄 @victoriabeckham you don't always need to BE THAT HONEST - I quote 'It looks awful' 🤬 And yes kids have content @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven 🤨' Needless to say, his followers were quick to comment, including Victoria, who wrote: 'What have u done?!? 😂😂 your little face!!! U were devastated 😂😂😂''Oh my days 😂,' their son Romeo added, while actor Terry Crews joked: 'Join the bald club👏👏👏🔥'Thankfully for David, his mom, Sandra Beckham, had his back, commenting on the post: 'You still look handsome ❤️' The star later took to his Instagram story to reveal that he'd reluctantly shaved the rest of his head to match the bald patch, writing: 'Update: it's the best I could do with the situation.' He then cheekily tagged his wife and asked: 'still awful??' Luckily, the new look worked for Victoria, who reposted the story to her own account and added: 'I'm into it!!!!' What Is a 'Clanker'? New Slur for Robots Catches On

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A new term used by people who aren't happy about the growing presence of robots and artificial intelligence in daily life has emerged. "Clankers," a term from Star Wars lore used by humans and clones to derogatively refer to robots, has caught on. While its use began ironically, the growing adoption of automation in almost every facet of life has some people using the term more seriously. What Is a 'Clanker'? The term first appeared in the Star Wars franchise. During the Clone Wars, a conflict between the republic and separatists, the latter used an army of robots called droids. So the word "clanker" became a common derogatory term used by protagonists toward their robotic enemies. In 300 years when AI are sapient, Clanker will be seen as a legitimate slur against them and people will go back and watch the Clone Wars like "Wow I can't believe they were allowed to say that back then" — Time 🏴‍☠️ (@TimeDragon1) July 19, 2025 What To Know With the rapid adoption of automation in the real world and the attempts of many tech companies to make robots more human-shaped, the term has moved beyond science fiction. "Clanker" is normally used to refer to humanoid robots doing jobs that were typically reserved for humans, such as serving food or cleaning. if I go to a theater and see a fucking clanker trying to serve me popcorn I'm leaving immediately — xan (@DexterShill) July 20, 2025 The increased use of the term, which is most prominent on X and Instagram, has coincided with the rapid adoption of humanoid robots across the tech industry, spearheaded by AI innovators such as Sam Altman and Elon Musk. Musk himself has said robots serving people at kiosks will "become normal in a few years." Tesla, a company Musk owns, also has new Optimus robots that are set to become some of the first commercially available full-size humanoid robots. The company has described Optimus as "a general purpose, bi-pedal, humanoid robot capable of performing tasks that are unsafe, repetitive or boring." when u call customer support and a clanker picks up — terminally onλine εngineer 🇺🇦🇪🇺🇺🇸 ~ new era (@tekbog) July 21, 2025 "Clanker" has emerged as a rallying cry by people who are frustrated by rapid automation, particularly as it relates to job losses. Other social media users have speculated on another way in which humanoid robots may change social norms. On Instagram, Gen Z content creators often joke about being "robophobic" in the future when their children date robots. What People Are Saying Elon Musk, at a launch event in October, said of his new Optimus robot: "What can it do? It'll do anything you want." He added: "It can be a teacher, babysit your kids. It can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries, just be your friend, serve drinks. Whatever you can think of, it will do."
