Nicole Kidman's new 'hacked', ear-length bob haircut is her most outrageous style to date
Nicole Kidman is single-handedly keeping beauty journalists in business (it's me, hi, I'm the beauty journalist, it's me), because this month alone, she's debuted not one, not two, not three (aaaand breath), but four (!!) dramatic hair transformations that has had social media in a frenzy. You could say we've got hair whip lash...
Her latest style arrived on our social media feeds within the hour and is, arguably, her most shocking to date. For the cover of Allure, Nicole is seen rocking a super short, ear-length bob, coloured a paprika red tone and with a jagged, hacked micro-fringe.
It's outrageous! But in the best way possible, of course. I mean, not many people can pull off a wonky layered haircut, but Nicole ~somehow~ makes it avant-garde chic.
As previously mentioned, this month, Nicole has debuted four different daring hair looks. The first arrived on the first Monday in May (uhhh, hello Met Gala!) with a super short pixie cut.
She then, just three days later, shockingly, ditched the cropped 'do, proving that it was, in fact, a wig, donning her long blonde locks at the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards.
Then last week [May 14], Prime Video dropped the trailer for the upcoming season of Nine Perfect Strangers. in which we learn that Nicole has returned to the show but this time, with a striking Nicole ice white lob.
So, with all that in mind – and with nine days still left in the month – we're going to predict another two hair switcheroos. Because ICYMI, we're going to assume that this red bob is a wig... Just take a look at the actor's above track record!
I'm putting my money on blue Rapunzel lengths next... Mark my words.

This clever slasher-comedy follows a group of Black friends who head to a remote cabin to celebrate Juneteenth. While exploring the cabin's game room, they stumble upon a board game called "The Blackening," which features a racist caricature mascot on the cover and pieces that correlate to each member of the group. To their horror, they find themselves locked in while a "Saw"-esque broadcast explains that they must compete in "The Blackening," a trivia-based game on Black culture, if they want to survive. To make it through the night, they'll have to rely on their wits along with their deep knowledge of horror movie clichés. "The Blackening" is hilariously self-aware, poking fun at classic genre tropes while still delivering suspense and surprises. ‘Étoile' Canceled After Just One Season Despite 2-Season Order at Prime Video
The curtain is up for 'Étoile' at Prime Video. Despite receiving a two-season order when first greenlit, the Amazon ballet drama from Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino was canceled at the Amazon streamer. The series, which had originally received a two-year commitment from Amazon but pending an official green light for Season 2, ended on a cliffhanger. Étoile Cancelled After One Season at Amazon, Despite Two-Season Order
Étoile is taking its final bow, a little earlier than expected. Amazon's Prime Video has cancelled the Amy Sherman-Palladino ballet comedy after just one season, our sister site Deadline reports, despite Amazon giving the series a two-season order initially. The decision to cancel 'came down largely to performance vs. cost,' Deadline says.
