People's Most Beautiful Person, 62, unveiled after four decades in the industry

Daily Mail22-04-2025

People Magazine unveiled their annual Most Beautiful Person edition on Tuesday, and they selected Demi Moore.
'I'm certainly more comfortable in my own skin at this point than I have ever been,' the 62-year-old Brat Packer said in her cover story.
'In truth, the greatest freedom that I have found is in deepening into my acceptance of myself as I am. And that, I think, is a daily reminder. It's a daily sense of bringing forward an appreciation for all that I am, and that doesn't mean it's just the parts I like. It means it's an acceptance of all the parts of me.'
Demi has a greater appreciation for everything her body has been through, including welcoming her three daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.
'I have overall really incredible health, but that doesn't mean that sometimes I look in the mirror and I don't go, "God I look old." Or "God my face is falling," admitted Moore (born Guynes).
'I do. I do and there are things I just don't like and I would prefer that it didn't feel like it was falling. But, at the same time, I can accept that is where I'm at today and I know the difference today is that doesn't define my value or who I am.'
The Substance star won both the Golden Globe Award and the SAG Award for her performance as aging workout guru Elisabeth Sparkle in Coralie Fargeat's critically-acclaimed body horror film.
Demi also crowded her mantel with prizes from Critics Choice Awards, BAFTAs, Hamptons Film Festival, Savannah Film Festival, Cinémathèque française, SFFILM, Kansas City Film Critics Circle, Women Film Critics Circle, Satellite Awards, Saturn Awards, AARP Movies for Grownups Awards, Dorian Awards, and Irish Film & Television Academy Awards.
Moore will be spending 'the next few months' in Texas reprising her role as Jon Hamm's onscreen wife Cami Miller in the second season of Taylor Sheridan's oil rig drama Landman.
The Paramount+ small-screen adaptation of Christian Wallace's 2019 Boomtown podcast also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Andy Garcia, and Michael Peña.
Last November, the New Mexico-born grandmother filmed her role as 'cutthroat fashion maven' in Boots Riley's sci-fi shoplifting comedy I Love Boosters alongside LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Keke Palmer, Eiza González, Naomi Ackie, and Taylour Paige.
Moore admitted: 'I have overall really incredible health, but that doesn't mean that sometimes I look in the mirror and I don't go, "God I look old." Or "God my face is falling." I do. I do' (pictured March 2)

Demi Moore told 'this is not ok' as she divides fans after rescuing ducklings

Oscar nominated actress Demi Moore was slammed by some fans for how she interacted with the three baby ducks she rescued, amid concern for the welfare of the animals Actress Demi Moore has divided fans after revealing she has rescued three baby ducks. The 62-year-old animal lover, who is said to have nine pet dogs, took to Instagram to share a cute snap with the ducklings. Tucking the baby mallards into her jacket, a smiling Demi shared they had already made friends with her Chihuahua Pilaf, who she often shares photos of. Her daughters and granddaughter were also spotted getting to know the ducklings in a series of pics posted to her social media account. ‌ The Substance star captioned the post: "Duck, duck… Pilaf! We rescued three orphaned baby mallard ducklings! With the help and guidance of my local vet we are working to nurture them until they are old enough to be reintroduced to their natural habitat. It has been a messy joy, but Pilaf is loving her new friends." ‌ Though some of her celebrity followers like Paris Hilton and Jennifer Garner commented with heart emojis and Tom Hanks wife Rita Wilson wrote "Oh my goodness! How sweet is this?" - not everybody agreed with it. READ MORE: Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer, 36, defends taking baths with her sisters One follower wrote: "This is not ok. Wild mallards should be rehabbed by wildlife rehabber. Her vet should have known that. Sorry.. cute but imprinted…" Agreeing, another replied: "Correct. Handling these ducks is not a good rehab practice. They should NEVER be subjected to all that handling." A third person commented: "Yeah this is messed up, these ducks need to go to a wildlife rehab." A fourth said: "Just because a celebrity thinks its cute doesn't make it right." While a fifth asked: "What happened to mom! If they imprint to you - there is no way you should release them. That will work against them in the wild as they follow humans around. Talk to a wildlife rehab facility." But others leapt to Demi's defence, with one writing: "Those ducks will most likely live because of her. And all you can do is b***h and complain. Get a life and follow someone else." Another chimed in: "What if a rehab person is actually filming this before taking them away….what if this is being filmed at rehab facility….what if….. I would give a person benefit of doubt before criticizing [sic] or attacking them. Three little ducklings following a person. That is all that you can say with certainty." ‌ The Mirror has reached out to Demi's reps for further comment on this story. Demi is known for her love of animals and is often spotted with what seems to be her favourite dog Pilaf. The pint-sized pooch - said to be a similar size to a guinea pig - even accompanied her famous owner to a recent awards ceremony. ‌ Pilaf was seen walking the red carpet with Demi at the Film Independent Spirit Awards back in February. Movie star Demi has joked Pilaf's fame is now so big it's eclipsed her own. She said: "The truth is, I am her accessory." She has also appeared on Jimmy Fallon's chat show with Demi. Introducing Pilaf to the audience, Demi shared: "This is Pilaf, the little mouse. She is a pound and a half. She's the runt of her litter. She's a magical creature." Jimmy replied: "She is. I met her backstage and her tongue permanently hangs out." Demi replied: "It does. She lost the teeth that hold it in, but it's part of her charm. Demi admitted she also sleeps with her dogs - and that might be why she's currently single. She shared: "If anybody saw my nighttime routine, if it was filmed, they would really see how eccentric I am. "I have to prop pillows so the ones that are this size have the ability to get under the covers. I have two beds for the little ones so that they have the beds within the bed. Hence why I'm single!"

Meghan Markle's 'business like' approach to royal rift with Harry exposed

Meghan and Harry have been estranged from the Royal Family for five years, with the Duke of Sussex recently expressing his desire to reconcile with his relatives Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to take contrasting stances on managing their distance from the Royal Family. Reports have suggested that the Duchess of Sussex adopts a rather "business" mindset towards the situation. The duke and duchess stepped back from royal duties five years ago back in 2021, and carved out a new path in the US with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Since then, they have been attempting to launch their careers in new directions. ‌ Despite having levelled numerous critiques at the Royal Family over time, recently, Prince Harry has signalled his desire for reconciliation. ‌ New insights, however, suggest that while Meghan is very supportive of Harry's legal battles and the "painful rift" with his family, she is perceived as having a more pragmatic "business"-like perspective, reportedly wishing Harry could be less affected "by the past and more present in the life they've built together". It is believed that the Sussexes feel excluded from intricate royal affairs taking place in the UK, reports the Express. "They [Harry and Meghan] are aware of everything going on in England, but they're being left out of the details - there's clearly no trust," a source speaking to People magazine remarked. Finding it challenging to be fully informed about his father, Prince Harry reportedly struggles to receive precise updates regarding King Charles. Last month, the duke expressed to the BBC his concern over the lack of communication with his father and his uncertainty about the time the King may have left. ‌ Moreover, he voiced a hope for mending ties with his relatives, saying: "Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things, but there's no point in continuing to fight anymore." Prince Harry expressed his desire for reconciliation, stating: "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious." ‌ However, Sally Bedell Smith, a royal biographer, suggested that trust remains a significant hurdle. In an interview with People magazine, she revealed: "The King and William don't trust Harry and Meghan with any kind of confidential conversation." Valentine Low, another author, noted that although Harry's BBC interview wasn't intended as a direct attack on the Royal Family, "it would be seen as one," making it even more challenging for Charles to extend an olive branch. Elsewhere, the Duke of Sussex was reportedly left furious after the King and British officials caused "repeated delays" in issuing his children's passports, leading to a name change. ‌ Prince Harry allegedly considered changing his family name to Spencer following "repeated delays by British officials" in issuing passports for his children, Archie and Lilibet. The Duke of Sussex had reportedly "discussed the issue" with his late mother's brother, Earl Spencer. He allegedly "actively explored ways" to make the switch while in the UK, but it is said that "the legal hurdles were insurmountable". The claims have been rejected as "completely untrue" by sources close to the Sussexes, sparking debate among commentators who believe such a move could worsen tensions within the Royal Family.

Judge threatens to remove Sean 'Diddy' Combs from trial

Judge Arun Subramanian has threatened to kick Sean 'Diddy' Combs from his courtroom after he 'vigorously nodded' at jurors. The 55-year-old music artist is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution – he has denied all allegations against him. The hearings kicked off last month in New York, with his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and Kid Cudi among those who have taken the stand so far. As proceedings began earlier today, multiple outlets have reported that Diddy has been threatened with expulsion from the court for seemingly attempting to 'interact' with jurors. Speaking to Comb's attorney, the judge Subramanian said in court: 'Mr Agnifilo, your client was looking at jurors and nodding vigorously. 'This can't continue, or I will give a limiting instruction you won't like, or other measures, including barring your client from the courtroom. Do you understand?' Defence attorney Marc Agnifilo told the judge that it would not happen again. The judge then added: 'There should be no efforts whatsoever to have an interaction with this jury.' This comes just days after a screaming woman was removed from the trial after an explicit outburst. More Trending According to People Magazine, she could be heard screaming: 'These motherf**kers are laughing at you. 'You're laughing at a Black man's legacy.' Combs is thought to have remained seated during the incident, but turned around when Judge Subramanian ordered officers to remove the woman. Got a story?
