A mum, infamously dubbed 'Britain's most hated woman', has lashed out at her neighbours for being "nosey" during a visit from Stacey Dooley.

The Strictly Come Dancing favourite and renowned documentarian dropped by the notorious mum's residence for the third series of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over. Stacey delved into Carla's life following backlash on This Morning where she faced criticism for allegedly feigning depression to secure a complimentary nose job via the NHS.

In the programme, Stacey addressed the media storms often surrounding Carla and remarked: "I think it's undeniable the controversial headlines have affected [your] children."

Yet, in conversation with Manchester Evening News, Carla accused her neighbours of being fixated with her life, claiming they couldn't resist being "nosey" while Stacey lodged with her.
When quizzed about local chatter in her Hertfordshire community, she disclosed: "If I ever have film crews around, they will purposely say, 'We are cutting the hedge today.' Really? Come on.
She claimed Stacey's film team asked for 30 minutes of peace

"Even when we filmed Stacey Dooley, when that happened the crew asked for half an hour's peace, and they started to cut hedges..."
Carla's neighbourly feuds persist beyond the 2022 airing of the Stacey documentary, with recent conflicts "ruining" her summer evenings.
Speaking to the Mirror, she complained: "They burn wood every weekend starting from a Friday night always. So our summer evenings having vino in the garden is a no go.

"It stinks and I have no idea why they do it. I think they are farmers, our houses back onto a field, and I honestly think they think they own the farmer's field."
The mother-of-four humorously suggested: "Maybe they burn wood for their fire but it's summer so I have no idea but it is probably to p*** me off and ruin my summer vino nights chilling to music."
She described the smoke from the wood burning as "horrific" and pointed out that it doesn't help that she and her family members suffer from asthma. She also mentioned that the Friday routine affects her breathing if she remains outdoors.

She described the wood burning issue as 'insane'

She continued: "I have never experienced something like this, they have even built a wood burning shed thing, it's insane."
However, she concluded that she has learned to cope with the issue, expressing a wish for a world where she could simply get along with her neighbours.

She stated: "I think people are just rude and I don't know why everyone can't get along. I know it's a free world but come on, to burn wood..
"There is more to life than fixing a bloody house 24/7. I do not understand the British mentality with houses, it's their life, but memories last for a lifetime, a house is only bricks and water."

"I think we weren't as joined up in the BBC as we are now, so I didn't know about some of the historical things that have taken place. ‌ "So if I'd known about those at the time, yes, I may have acted differently, but I acted on the information I was given. Kerry Katona has defended her friend Eamonn Holmes after he was accused of making a racial slur towards her during an interview on his GB News breakfast show Kerry Katona came to the defence of Eamonn Holmes following the controversy surrounding the former This Morning host's use of a racial slur during a live broadcast. Kerry, 45, made an appearance on GB News this morning (Thursday) to discuss cosmetic surgery when she revealed the results of her facelift from the previous year. ‌ The mum-of-five looked visibly taken aback when Eamonn used a racially offensive term to describe her eyes - a phrase that has been prohibited by the Home Office since 2021 due to its discriminatory nature, reports the Mirror. ‌ "Are you happy with the eyes?" Eamonn enquired of Kerry, prompting his co-presenter Ellie Costello to praise them, saying "They look good, they look lovely." ‌ Kerry responded positively, saying "Yeah," before elaborating: "I had them done over a year ago now. You know it was making my eyes feel a bit heavy, so I had an uplift. But what I don't like is when..." Yet as Kerry attempted to carry on, Eamonn cut her off with: "And you don't look Oriental or anything, do you?" Taken aback, Kerry paused before replying: "I just wanted the skin removed. I didn't want to change my face; I just wanted the skin that was hanging over my eyes." Taking to her Instagram Stories this afternoon, Kerry expressed her affection for Eamonn, telling him "I love you" and assured her followers she wasn't "left speechless" or upset by the incident. The former I'm A Celeb star declared: "Right guys I've literally just come out from getting my facial, getting my Botox done and I've just seen the papers and the press. ‌ "Eamonn Holmes has been one of my oldest and longest friends and I absolutely adore and love him to bits he said absolutely nothing untoward, towards me - I wasn't offended in anyway shape or form. I absolutely adore Eamonn, I truly adore him. I can't believe what I've just..." She then adds: "Me speechless? It'll take a lot to make me bloody speechless that's for sure. But, Eamonn I love you truly, I adore you, I have no idea where this has come from. I love you Eamonn." ‌ Near the conclusion of his morning programme, following his chat with Kerry, Eamonn found himself compelled to offer an apology to viewers for his earlier use of the term. He said: "Apparently, you're not allowed to describe someone as looking oriental or... I don't know how I would then describe Kerry Katona if her eyes change shape." The host continued: "I don't know how I'm going to say does she look like someone from some other country in the eastern of the world... The world is ridiculous. How you have to apologise for people... if she painted herself or... I don't know, I can't get into this. But anyway. "But Kerry looks beautiful," Ellie interjected. "Kerry looks well," Eamonn concurred, before wrapping up with, "I'm sorry if you don't look well or if we have offended you in any way or... oh, I don't know."
