All's not well between 'Ram Leela' star Ranveer Singh and his former mentor, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Singh, who has delivered multiple hits with the auteur, such as 'Ram Leela' , 'Padmavaat,' and 'Bajirao Mastani,' has reportedly fallen out due to the latter's decision not to cast him in the leading role in his upcoming magnum opus, 'Love & War'.
According to a report by senior journalist Subhash K. Jha, Ranveer had his eye on the main role, which is now being essayed by Ranbir Kapoor. However, he was offered the role of second lead, which he promptly declined. That role has now gone to Vicky Kaushal. Due to this rift, the director, who was once very close to Singh, was missing at his 40th birthday bash.
Ranveer and Bhansali were supposed to collaborate for the remake of the 1952 blockbuster 'Baiju Bawra,' but the project has been put on the back burner for now.

Bhansali Sets Stage for Intense Showdowns Between Ranbir and Vicky
According to an exclusive update from
Pinkvilla
, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is preparing to film some intense and emotionally charged confrontations between lead stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal starting August 2025. These sequences, designed to be dramatic high points in the film, will showcase the acting prowess of two of this generation's finest performers.
Bhansali's production team is currently focused on building an expansive and detailed set, which will serve as the backdrop for these cinematic clashes. Known for his meticulous planning, Bhansali has invested significant time in pre-production, carefully sketching and envisioning these grand-scale scenes, which are expected to be rich in powerful dialogue and emotional tension.
So far, the team has already wrapped up approximately 100 days of shooting for Love and War, with another 90 days still to go before the project reaches completion. Bhansali is reportedly aiming to finish principal photography by the end of 2025.
Although a majority of the remaining shoot will take place across various film studios in Mumbai, an important international schedule is also on the cards. Once October arrives, the crew plans to shift focus to outdoor filming in select European locations. To finalize the specifics, Bhansali recently undertook a location scouting trip to Rome, exploring potential spots for the film's overseas portions.
With the scale of production growing steadily and anticipation building, Love and War is shaping up to be another visually stunning and emotionally gripping tale from Bhansali's cinematic universe. The movie will hit the big screens in March 2026.

In a recent interview, Chay called his life after marriage 'great" and mentioned that they both have been able to balance their personal and professional lives well. 'Married life is great! I'm totally enjoying it. It's just been a couple of months. I think we both invest equally in work and away from work; so, we have that work-life balance very much intact. I think that's one of the qualities we both really connected on also," he told Hindustan Times. Asked what he and Sobhita have in common other than being successful actors, Naga Chaitanya added, 'You know, we are both from Andhra. She is from Vizag and I love Vizag. Our roots are similar though we are not from the same cities and so, culturally, there was a lot of connect. And, obviously, the love for cinema, the love for this art form. I think both of us are just so curious about life, which got us going. Many conversations sort of started around that for us. And we love travelling as well." Trigger Warning: This article discusses gun violence, its impact, and related social issues, which some readers may find disturbing. 'Trigger,' the recently released K-Drama, has been the talk of the town, keeping every possible fan awake in the night. The story revolves around illegal guns being massively delivered to civilians, leading to chaos and, certainly, triggering violence. What is 'Trigger' about? Directed by Kwon Oh-seung, the series gave a glimpse of what would happen if the regulations were disregarded and the laws were casually broken. Led by Kim Young-Kwang and Kim Nam-Gil, where one is adamant about destroying the country that failed to protect him, and the other is trying to be on the right side of the road. On the darker side is Moon Baek (Kim Young-Kwang), who has been around the international black market and is willing to unleash the devil in South Korea, knowing that he will be dying of cancer. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Victoria Principal Is Almost 75, See Her Now Reportingly Undo Meanwhile, Lee Do (Kim Nam Gil), who wants to protect the people despite having a quite traumatic childhood, has served in the military and condemns all the weapon culture in society. While he tries to stop everything without using a gun, the time eventually makes him pick one to fight the demons. How does the series end? At the end, Moon Baek organises rallies and sets off the ticking bomb by conducting a 'free guns' incentive, in addition to throwing smoke bombs. Lee, who has been the protector, decides not to arrest Moon and save the children from the chaotic crossfire. Adding the spice of a perfectly dramatic climax, Baek disappears in the smoke after stating that all he did was hand humans the guns; it was entirely their decision to pull the trigger. However, Moon Baek is shot and is hospitalised due to a critical condition, while Lee Do survives and adopts the boy he saved, according to The Indian Express. While there has been no official announcement about the next season, there is certainly room for one.
