I ended it with Paddy to find true self…that means I'm dating women, says Christine McGuinness as she speaks about split
Not just by leaving her famous husband — but by turning her back on men completely.

The model, who is currently appearing on E4's Celebs Go Dating, has revealed she has only been in relationships with women in the three years since the breakdown of their marriage.
But she insists that, at the age of 37, it is less about satisfying previously unfulfilled desires and more about starting a new chapter with her own identity.
Talking on Celebs Go Dating, which launched last night, Christine said: 'I feel like I'm a couple of steps away from being my new self and not 'Paddy's wife'. I'm coming out of the transition part.
'I am single and I absolutely do love women. I'd love to explore that more and I definitely see that's where I'm more comfortable.'
She added: 'When I was a teenager I dated men and women before I was married and now I'm really, really just enjoying spending time with women.
'For the last three years I've only ever dated women. I was never heterosexual, I've never labelled myself anything other than Christine, to be honest.'
Christine and Paddy, 51, married in 2011 and have three children together.
She claims the Take Me Out and Top Gear presenter knew from the start of their relationship that she is attracted to women, and did not take issue with it.
'It's my fault'
Since announcing their shock split in July 2022, Christine has been romantically linked to singer Chelcee Grimes and model, rapper and DJ Roxxxan.
But, as part of Celebs Go Dating, she opens up more than ever about her love life and how she perhaps wasn't as into men as it would have appeared to onlookers.
Christine McGuinness has taken a sly dig at ex-husband Paddy, claiming she now wants to date women so she can have 'a deeper connection.'
On one episode, during a dating masterclass with Too Hot To Handle hunk Louis Russell, she is challenged to use her body language to show she is interested in him.
She is incredibly convincing, but Christine reveals afterwards: 'I just think it's a really good example of how I'm used to faking it.'
Despite her confidence when it comes to flirting, Christine discusses some of the issues she has encountered with potential new partners.
She said: 'I'm attracted to a masculine woman that's not trying to fit in and be like anyone else.
'I haven't dated an awful lot. I was married for a long time and it took me a while to even think about spending time with anyone.
'Luckily, for me, the women I've spent time with over the last couple of years, I already knew them.'
She continued: 'The only thing I've struggled with is when I've really liked someone and they haven't got children and they want more. I just know that isn't for me.
'My time is actually very precious and valuable, if I am spending time with somebody you should know you're important.'
Christine also appeared to address rumours that Paddy had cheated during their marriage.
She said: 'Anyone can make mistakes, but I think the trust was broken.

'I'll always love him as the father of my children, I think he'll be the only man I'll ever love. A lot of people make mistakes and mess up, when you are a couple who is quite well known in the industry then obviously everyone knows your business.
'In some ways I still carry that feeling of it's my fault because I ended it.
'We had an amazing 15 years, we really did. The last couple of years, I think things weren't quite the same.
'I think once the respect isn't quite there any more, it's time to leave. It was the hardest decision I've ever made in my life and it forever will be.'
Christine revealed it was Paddy's comedic charm that won her over when they met during a turbulent time in her life.
Christine said: 'He wasn't as known as what he is now. I was 19 when I met him, I went to an event where I was modelling.
'My ex husband was there, someone introduced us and we had a laugh. We kept in touch. I did [fancy him], he had a cheeky charm, he made me laugh and I wasn't in the best place.
'I was struggling with a lot of things. I struggled a lot as a teenager, I didn't really know where I fitted or where I belonged. When I met my ex-husband it was just perfect timing.
'He made me laugh so much, it was easy, it was an easy relationship.'
Christine was diagnosed with ADHD and autism in her late thirties, shortly after their children Penelope, Leo and Felicity were diagnosed with autism.
The developmental conditions have affected social interactions throughout her life — and that goes for dating, too.
She explained: 'Autism affects me a lot with socialising, it takes me a while to relax and be open to get to know someone.
'They think I'm odd'
'I struggle to read people so I never really know whether I've made a good impression or not. The thought of going on a date scares me so much.
'I just have a couple of different corners to navigate before I'm OK.
7
'I just find it uncomfortable with someone I don't know.'
On how it affects how she plans dates, Christine said: 'It's just sensory issues, so I struggle with too much texture, it could be the smell, if it's too busy somewhere. So I try to avoid restaurants unless I've been there before.
'I think people just think I'm a bit odd or that I have got an eating disorder of some sort.
'It's just that first bit of feeling different but I want someone who accepts all of that, and is OK with that.'
And Christine reckons there's no better place to find love than the E4 dating show.
She said: 'It's all brand new to me, but I'm in the best place, I'm excited for it.
'I've got to take a deep breath and just dive in. I can't be single for the rest of my life.'
Other famous faces on the Celebs Go Dating line-up are Love Islander Olivia Hawkins, Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, The Chase quizzer Mark Labbett, S Club singer Jon Lee, comic Donna Preston, and Made In Chelsea's Sam Prince.
They are guided by dating coach Paul C Brunson and sex guru Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn.
After meeting potential dates, including another lesbian called Leanne, Christine admits: 'There's parts of all of them that I really like.
'With Leanne, although she's presenting more fem, I know there's a lot of dominance in her. I'm really torn. Leanne isn't my usual type, she's more feminine, quite glamorous. I'd like to see more of her masculine side, which I'm pretty sure is in there.'
The show is likely to make for uncomfortable viewing for husband Paddy as Christine has already divulged a few things that may feel like a needle to her ex-husband.
Before the show aired, she admitted: 'I can just have a deeper connection with a woman. I like someone who knows what they want and isn't playing games.'
Celebs Go Dating is on tonight, tomorrow and Thursday on E4 at 9pm. All this week's episodes are available to stream now.

FARRAH STORR: Claudia Schiffer was once the face of Guess. Now, the brand has created the first AI model to appear in Vogue - and I fear it could be the death knell for the fashion industry
There's something eerily familiar about the model in the latest Guess fashion campaign. Her smile and wide cheekbones are a little like those of the American supermodel Kate Upton. Her hazel, feline eyes meanwhile remind me of the Dutch supermodel . A glance at her body – long legs, a cantilevered chest, skin the colour of a biscotti biscuit – and it could easily be that of Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

Why Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz didn't invite his brothers Romeo and Cruz to their lavish second wedding amid his family feud
Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz recently had a lavish 'second' wedding, however his parents David and Victoria were noticeably absent from the guest list. Posh and Becks weren't the only family members of Brooklyn's missing from the 200 people guest list, as his brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, were also not invited. The brothers absence was reportedly down to a series of online 'trolling' from the duo, according to those close to Brooklyn and Nicola. A friend told The Mirror: 'Brooklyn's brothers have been fanning the openly made fun of and trolled Brooklyn in comments on social media.' Earlier this year, Cruz seemed to issue yet another swipe at elder brother Brooklyn after declaring the 'truth would unfold' amid the family's bitter fallout. Shortly after posting the pointed lyrics from The Beatles 1969 song, he took to social media once again to upload a video of himself playing the guitar. While the post quickly garnered more than 15,000 likes on TikTok, it also attracted a series of comments from trolls - with Cruz quick to hit back. One commented: 'Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?' To which Cruz - seemingly throwing shade at his brother Brooklyn's many career paths - responded: 'Wrong brother mate'. Over the years, Brooklyn has tried his hand at several different careers from modelling, to photography to becoming a chef and most recently training as a Formula E driver. It is unknown why the simple social media comments would have bothered Brooklyn to that extent. The actress has previously been accused of 'isolating' Brooklyn from not only his family, but his friends too. As well as Posh, Becks and his brothers, Brooklyn's sister Harper, his grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles were also absent and only found out about the wedding vow renewal by reading it online. The Peltz's friend was responding to questions as to why it was necessary to ban the whole Beckham family from the wedding celebration on August 2. Cruz was asked: 'Are you going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?' To which Cruz - seemingly throwing shade at his brother Brooklyn's many career paths - responded: 'Wrong brother mate' Over the years, Brooklyn has tried his hand at several different careers from modelling, to photography to becoming a chef and most recently training as a Formula E driver As one insider said: 'They are trying to make the best decisions for them in what are very unfortunate circumstances. Navigating family stuff is hard and it's ugly.' Astonishingly, they still claim to hope for a reconciliation, the pal added: 'The door is open. No one wants to see this kind of pain exist. There is always hope. At the end of the day. Blood is thicker than water.' Daily Mail has contacted Brooklyn, Nicola and the Beckhams' representatives for comment. Brooklyn and wife Nicola, who first wed in 2022, said 'I do' for a second time in Westchester County in front of her family who had key roles in the day, with the Beckham clan nowhere in sight. Nicola wore her 70-year-old mother's vintage 1985 bridal gown for the big day, while her father Nelson, 83, was given the key role of officiating. Brooklyn become increasingly estranged from his family since he snubbed his father's 50th birthday, and now, the family fear it's a final kick in the teeth. A source told The Sun: 'This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria. Seeing Nelson having such a pivotal role at the ceremony was heartbreaking for David especially. Not one member of the 30-plus extended family knew about the wedding, or were invited. 'His grandparents are devastated too as Brooklyn has always been so close to them.' The source added: 'It feels cruel and spiteful. This is no longer a game. It has gone beyond all that. This is a family who feel they have lost their precious boy - and see no way back. 'Honestly, they are now questioning why he even wants to keep the 'Beckham' surname - will he revert to Peltz? August 2nd 2025 - is this the day Brooklyn formally declared himself no longer a part of the Beckham family? It certainly feels like it.'. As well as Posh, Becks and his brothers, Brooklyn's sister Harper, his grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles were also absent and only found out about the wedding vow renewal by reading it online (family seen before feud) Daily Mail has contacted Brooklyn, Nicola and the Beckhams' representatives for comment. Brooklyn and Nicola first tied the knot in a lavish £3million ceremony in 2022, when relations first began to sour with his parents in the run-up to the big day. After shunning a dress made by her fashion designer Victoria mother-in-law in favour of a Valentino gown in 2022 - a choice which wasn't well received - Nicola once again snubbed the Spice Girl and wore her mother Claudia's vintage wedding gown. It is a poignant message to Posh and Becks', whom he and Nicola have grown increasingly estranged over recent months. All the while the Beckhams were said to be upset by the Peltz's in 2022 who they felt were taking over the wedding. And ever since their first big nuptials in April 2022, the two families have not reunited and Nicola has rarely been pictured with the Beckhams. The couple shared the images on Instagram on Monday, alongside the words 'only love.' Nicola wore the same original $1.8mill ring set adding a glinting filter onto the dazzling jewels. Brooklyn described the vow renewal as a 'really beautiful experience' while admitting he is still head-over-heels for his wife. Speaking for the first time about the day, the 26-year-old admitted he'd happily do it 'every single day' if he could. Brooklyn said the moment was all about creating a 'really cute memory' they'd treasure forever.

JD Vance will meet Nigel Farage for breakfast in the Cotswolds - after a 'barbecue and few beers' with Thomas Skinner
US Vice-President JD Vance is set to meet Nigel Farage for breakfast later today after spending the evening with The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner. The US politician and reality TV star's unlikely friendship began on X and resulted in Skinner receiving an invite to join Mr Vance at his holiday residence in the Cotswolds. The Essex trader said the opportunity was 'once in a lifetime', also describing the Vice-President as a 'proper gent'. Vance hosted the barbecue with invitees including Cambridge Academic James Orr and Conservative MP Danny Kruger, The Times reported. A picture of the pair was shared on Skinner's social media. He wrote: 'Here is a pic of Me and Vice President JD Vance towards the end of the night after a few beers 'I'm overdressed in my suit, but when the VP invites you to a BBQ, you don't risk turning up in shorts an flip-flops 'Cracking night in the beautiful English countryside with JD, his friends and family. Once in a lifetime. Bosh.' In another reply, he added: 'When the Vice President of the USA invites ya for a BBQ an beers, you say yes. 'Unreal night with JD and his friends n family. He was a proper gent. 'Lots of laughs and some fantastic food. A brilliant night, one to tell the grand kids about mate. Bosh.' The meeting follows the VP's visit to Chevening House in Kent where he and his family stayed with Foreign Secretary David Lammy for two days. He reportedly also met Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick while in the UK. His whistle-stop tour of British politicians is set to continue with breakfast alongside Reform UK leader Nigel Farage in The Cotswolds tomorrow. Thomas Skinner has become a social media star ever since appearing on The Apprentice in 2019. He subsequently gained online attention for sharing videos of early morning breakfasts at his local cafe and his love for roast dinners. He later appeared on Celebrity MasterChef in 2020. In recent years, Skinner has held more meetings with politicians, including meeting Robert Jenrick, as his followers have begun to urge him to take his own step into politics. Meanwhile Vance's presence in the English countryside has attracted some criticism with locals complaining of disruption and left–leaning protesters flocking to the area. Jeremy Clarkson said his new summer neighbour has interrupted the filming of Clarkson's Farm as the secret service swarms the surrounding countryside and a no–fly zone has been put in place. Motoring journalist turned farmer Clarkson said that the one–mile no fly zone around Vance's Cotswolds manor house rental is preventing drone cameramen on his Amazon Prime show from doing their job. Protestors have also descended on the countryside for a 'JD Vance not welcome party' The Stop Trump Coalition has been leading protests against both Mr Trump and Mr Vance's visits, and vowed to come out in force later today. 'JD Vance is a hideous moral vacuum and the British public want nothing to do with him,' said spokesmperson Zoe Gardner. 'It is nauseating to watch ministers' displays of fake friendship with this authoritarian, anti-democratic, genocide-enabling US regime. 'We will be throwing a 'Vance Not Welcome' party – using our free speech to let him know he and his politics of hate are not welcome in the Cotswolds or any part of our country.' One woman held a sign saying 'Cotswold childless cat ladies say go home' - in a reference to Mr Vance's comments about America being governed by 'childless cat ladies' Mr Vance is already considering following up his Cotswold holiday with a visit to Ayrshire later this week, prompting police to ready a 'significant policing operation' involving as many as 1,000 officers. The massive security operation surrounding Dean Manor has prompted its owner to apologise to neighbours for the disruption. The enormous property, where the Vice-President is staying, is located in a tiny hamlet of just 12 houses in Oxfordshire, and was picked out by US secret service personnel because of its remote secure location. Stone walls 15ft tall protect its immaculately manicured six–acre gardens The house, which was built 1702 in the reign of Queen Anne, is surrounded by teams of US secret service operatives dressed in regulation navy blue sports jackets and khaki chino trousers who are guarding the property around the clock. The manor house's owner, Pippa Hornby, was also sworn to secrecy on the imminent arrival of her new high–profile tenant. It is believed the rental may cost as much as £8,000 a week. Fittingly for right–wing Republican Vice President Mr Vance, the manor house has a history of Tory political figures as previous owners. It even has a former Tory Prime Minister living a very short stroll away. Dean Manor was built in 1702 for local Oxford Tory MP Thomas Rowney and is grade II listed. It was until recently owned by Tory peer Peter Selwyn Gummer, Baron Chadlington. Former Tory Prime Minister David Cameron – who is also known as Lord Cameron of Chipping Norton – also lives in Dean with his wife Samantha and he has a permanent team of armed Metropolitan Police Protection officers at his home there. Dean Manor is about as close a neighbouring property to Clarkson's own Cotswolds home, Curdle Hill Farm, better known as Diddly Squat Farm, can be. They are a mile apart as the crow flies, separated mainly by Clarkson's own arable fields.
