Meth, fentanyl, cocaine and multiple weapons found on Guelph man: police

Guelph Police have arrested a man wanted in another jurisdiction Tuesday.
At around 10:20 a.m., police said they recognized a man they knew was wanted leaving a taxi near Paisley Road and Imperial Road South.
Police arrested the man and said they found quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine, cash, a can of bear spray and a machete inside his pant leg upon searching him.
A 36-year-old Guelph man was charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, carrying a concealed weapon, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and seven counts of breaching court orders.

A person has been airlifted to hospital in serious condition after a boating incident at Cates Park in North Vancouver Saturday evening.
