Bob Odenkirk isn't saying no to .
Odenkirk's Hutch Mansell debuted in Nobody, an R-rated action movie directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by Derek Kolstad. The film also stars Aleksei Serebryakov as Yulian Kuznetsov, Connie Nielsen as Becca Mansell, Christopher Lloyd as David Mansell, Michael Ironside as Eddie Williams, and RZA as Harry Mansell.
A sequel, Nobody 2, is now opening in United States theaters this weekend. Odenkirk, Nielsen, RZA, and Lloyd all reprise their respective roles in the new movie.
What did Bob Odenkirk say about Nobody 3?
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Odenkirk said that he was open to returning as Hutch for a potential Nobody 3 and Nobody 4.
'It would be about the journey of the family and the tensions that change as you move from one chapter to the next,' Odenkirk said. 'You tell yourself, 'This is going to be it now. I'm going to enjoy this chapter of my life, and I'm going to be carefree.' But then you find that it has just as many frustrations and shortcomings as the last chapter.'
There has been no official announcement about the Nobody franchise continuing after the second movie as of yet, as Universal Pictures is likely waiting to see how the film does at the box office.
According to Variety, it's expected to make $10 million to $12 million in North America this weekend. That's an improvement over the first movie, which opened to $6.7 million and grossed $57.5 million worldwide; however, it's important to remember that film was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and was then released in March 2021.
Critical response to Nobody 2 has so far been positive, as the sequel currently holds an 81 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes with 63 reviews. ComingSoon's Jonathan Sim gave it a 7/10 score, which equates to 'good.'

Quentin Tarantino Opens Up About Why He 'Pulled the Plug' on THE MOVIE CRITIC — GeekTyrant

Quentin Tarantino is still on the hunt for his final film, and now we finally shares why The Movie Critic didn't make the cut. The legendary director had previously teased the project as his tenth and final movie, and fans were eager to see what kind of cinematic mic drop he had in store. But as it turns out, Tarantino decided to walk away from the project even after writing the full script. On The Church of Tarantino podcast, Tarantino opened up about why he ultimately scrapped the film. 'No one's waiting for this thing per se. I mean, I can do it whenever I want. I mean, it's already written. So OK, let me just not start it right now,' he explained. 'Let me try writing it as a movie and let me see if it's better that way. And I was like, 'Oh, OK, no, I think this is going to be the movie.' And then it wasn't. I pulled the plug on it. And the reason I pulled the plug, it's a little crazy.' The idea for The Movie Critic began as an eight-part limited series, which Tarantino then shaped into a feature film script. While he admits he was hyped about the writing process, the energy didn't carry over to pre-production. 'I was so excited about the writing, but I wasn't really that excited about dramatizing what I wrote once we were in pre-production.' That lack of enthusiasm wasn't the only red flag. Tarantino also challenged himself with the subject matter, which centered around a seemingly mundane profession. 'But there was a challenge that I gave to myself when I did it. Can I take the most boring profession in the world and make it an interesting movie?' he said. 'Every Tarantino title promises so much, except The Movie Critic . Who wants to see a TV show about a f*ing movie critic? Who wants to see a movie called The Movie Critic ? If I can actually make a movie or a TV show about somebody who watches movies interesting, that is an accomplishment.' Set in 1977 California, the story was reportedly inspired by a real-life, lesser-known writer who reviewed movies for a porn magazine. Despite earlier reports that it would be a continuation of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood , Tarantino shut that down hard. 'It's a spiritual sequel to Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood in so far as they take place in the same world and they take place in the same town. But there were no crossover characters. Cliff Booth was never in The Movie Critic . That's all a bunch of bull**. That never was the case ever, ever, ever.' That hasn't stopped Brad Pitt's character Cliff Booth from living on. While The Movie Critic is no longer on the table, Pitt is reprising his role in Netflix's upcoming film The Adventures of Cliff Booth , directed by David Fincher. So what's next for Tarantino's final movie? That remains a mystery. According to sources, he's gone back to the drawing board, looking for a new idea that will truly excite him and his fans. I'd still like to see what Tarantino had planned for The Movie Critic . He should just go back to his original plan and develop it as a series. Then it wouldn't count as his finale film. Jenna Ortega's ‘Winter Spring Summer Or Fall' Gets Paramount+ Date

Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White's romantic drama Winter Spring Summer Or Fall is coming soon to streaming on Paramount+ Premium. Directed by Tiffany Paulsen, Winter Spring Summer or Fall opened in limited release and made its debut on digital streaming via premium video on demand on April 25. The official summary for the film reads, 'Remi (Jenna Ortega) has her future figured out - Harvard in the fall, making her parents proud, and following the path she's always expected to take. 'Then she meets Barnes (Hynes White), who lives for the moment and makes her question everything. As their love story unfolds through the summer, Remi faces a choice - stick to the plan she's always known or risk it all for a life she never saw coming.' Paramount Streaming announced on Monday that Winter Spring Summer Or Fall will debut on Paramount+ Premium on Sept. 1. Paramount+ Premium is the ad-free and costs $12.99 per month after a free seven-day trial. 'Winter Spring Summer Or Fall' Director Says The Film Has Wide Appeal While Winter Spring Summer or Fall will no doubt be of interest to Jenna Ortega's fan base thanks to her success in Wednesday and her roles in Scream, Scream VI and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Tiffany Paulsen believes the romance aspect is the reason why the film should appeal to all audiences. 'One of the beautiful things about this movie is, yes it's Jenna's audience and you could say it's a Y/A love story, but we also felt we were crossing genres and crossing [the boundaries of] where you might put [the movie] a certain age category,' Paulsen said in a Zoom conversation prior to the film's 2024 debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. 'We were all in high school and all felt those feels, so we feel like it's this familiar, warm macaroni and cheese love story to everyone — not just putting it in this box as a teen love story,' Paulsen said. 'It feels very timeless and that was the magic for me of what John Hughes did and Cameron Crowe did. They really made films for everybody. Not just teens.' Rated R, Winter Spring Summer or Fall, which also stars Adam Rodriguez and Marisol Nichols as Remi's parents, Javier and Carmen, debuts on Paramount+ Premium on Sept. 1.

The 10 best Hulu shows to check out this summer

Although it's never been as big as Netflix or even Disney+, which has now subsumed it, Hulu remains one of the best places you can go if you're just looking for a great show to watch. Even though it's now owned by Disney, Hulu remains one of the best generators of quality fiction shows out there. If you're looking for something to check out there this summer, we've got you covered. We've pulled together a list of 10 great shows that are well worth your time, all of which are available on Hulu. Check them out now: Alien: Earth (2025-) A prequel to the original Alien, Alien: Earth is a fascinating shift for this decades-old franchise. There are still xenomorphs, to be sure, but the show is set on Earth, which is already a departure, and its main focus is on a group of children who have had their minds placed in synthetic bodies. Recommended Videos Alien has always been a franchise interested in the boundaries between machine and human life, but Alien: Earth pushes that to new extremes and has the great cast and production value necessary to make you feel like you're living 100 years in the future. You can watch Alien: Earth on Hulu. Dying for Sex (2025) A brilliant dramedy that showcases Michelle Williams' capabilities, Dying for Sex follows a woman who decides to leave her husband after she receives a terminal breast cancer diagnosis. The reason she decides to leave is because she's unfulfilled sexually and is tired of making excuses for her husband's lack of interest in her. From there, she explores her desires in all of their complexity and deals with the remaining time she has by transforming into a version of herself that she's always wanted to be. You can watch Dying for Sex on Hulu. King of the Hill (1997-) You can and should watch King of the Hill from the beginning, and all of it's available on Hulu. What's even more exciting, though, is that after more than a decade, the show released a new season in 2025. To its immense credit, King of the Hill manages to acknowledge all the ways the world changed between its original run and this new season without becoming explicitly political. King of the Hill, which follows the small community of Arlen, Texas, as they deal with the banality of everyday life, is a welcoming, funny place to return to over and over. You can watch King of the Hill on Hulu. The Bear (2022-) Although it's defined as a comedy for awards purposes, The Bear is a pretty stressful show (that can also be funny on occasion). The series tells the story of Carmy (Jeremy Allen White), a highly trained chef who returns to his hometown of Chicago to take over his brother's sandwich shop in the wake of his brother's death. As he deals with grief and his high standards for himself and everyone around him, he tries to turn the sandwich shop into one of the finest restaurants in town. Featuring an outstanding cast, The Bear has become one of the most popular shows on Hulu, and with good reason. You can watch The Bear on Hulu. Paradise (2024-) A fun, pulpy drama series that didn't overstay its welcome in season 1, Paradise is a hard show to describe without spoiling bits of the premise. At its basic level, it follows a secret service agent who has to deal with the aftermath of the assassination of the president. As he investigates the president's death, he begins to realize that the powers that be around him are not exactly what they appeared to be. Paradise is a great vehicle for Sterling K. Brown, but just as crucially, it's a show that knows how to pace out its reveals so that you're always eager to watch the next one. You can watch Paradise on Hulu. Normal People (2020) Few TV shows are capable of launching new stars, but Normal People was so good that it launched not one but two. The series, which follows two young Irish people as they fall in love with one another and are pulled together and apart by circumstances over a series of years, is heartbreaking and deeply felt. Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones, the two central performers, were both basically unknown prior to the series, but both of them deliver remarkably captivating performances and make every moment of Connell and Marianne's journey feel utterly real. You can watch Normal People on Hulu. Under the Bridge (2024) Although she didn't ultimately win the Oscar for Killers of the Flower Moon, Lily Gladstone's central performance there proved that she is one of the great actresses of her generation, and Under the Bridge gave her an ideal vehicle to do some more flexing. Gladstone plays a detective and co-stars with Riley Keough as the two of them learn more about the murder of a 14-year-old girl and the shocking circumstances surrounding the case. A show as much about the deranged lives of young girls as it is about its two leads, Under the Bridge is riveting and occasionally harrowing. You can watch Under the Bridge on Hulu. Shogun (2024-) One of the most masterful series of the past five years, Shogun is set in 17th-century Japan and tells the story of a Portuguese man who finds himself on Japanese soil and being used as a pawn in a struggle for power. Featuring totemic performances from Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai, Shogun is largely in Japanese but managed to find a massive audience because of the quality of its central story. Sawai, in particular, is a revelation as a woman caught between obligation and her own feelings when she must make an incredible sacrifice. You can watch Shogun on Hulu. High Potential (2024-) Sometimes, you just want to watch an intelligent lady solve crimes. High Potential is a familiar idea, but thanks to an inspired central performance from Kaitlin Olson, it's also remarkably fun. The show follows a single mother of three with a particularly keen mind who, after helping the police solve a difficult investigation, is brought in to consult with the department. If you're looking for a relatively easy watch that is nonetheless pretty compelling throughout, High Potential is perfect for you. You can watch High Potential on Hulu. Say Nothing (2024) A dark, difficult limited series, Say Nothing tells the story of the Troubles in Ireland in the 1960s and '70s. Focusing in particular on the IRA, the series chronicles the lives of several central characters as they risk everything and commit heinous acts on behalf of Irish independence. The series examines the dark heart of some revolutionary movements and the way the IRA eventually curdled as the walls started to close in around it. Say Nothing is a show that wonders what it might mean to dedicate your entire life to a cause, only to realize that everything you were fighting for was meaningless. You can watch Say Nothing on Hulu.
