The teen escaped from prison and narrowly avoided being sold into Clare Devine's child sex exploitation ring before becoming Jez's latest victim.
And his family will be plunged into mourning by the shocking event.
Mercedes, dressed all in black, leads the family as they pay their respects to her son at the local church.
Meanwhile, Tony Hutchinson also looks utterly bereft as he watches on from the sidelines.
Fans will watch the shocking scenes on Wednesday on E4 with the episode also streaming on Channel 4.
A source said: 'Bobby's return was only going to be for limited stint but his death will have explosive consequences.
'With Jez claiming more and more victims, their loved ones will be left behind determined to get justice.
'This twist is going to set Jez against his own sister-in-law Mercedes McQueen and once she discovers the truth - hell hath no fury.'
The soap has a lot to celebrate with Channel 4 boss Ian Katz has revealed the ratings have surged 11 per cent since the show went down to three episodes a week.
He said: 'Channel4's much loved soap, Hollyoaks, is having quite a year.
'While most soaps are in decline, its viewership for the year to date is up 11% thanks to the brilliant creative leadership Lime's Hannah Cheers and our own Louise Donald.'
Later this year the Channel 4 soap will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a month-long celebration including a major stunt and a battle between two of the show's biggest villains - Jez Blake and Clare Devine.

Olly Alexander says It's A Sin helped him confront his 'fear of HIV and sex'... as Tatler cover star reveals what he really thinks of his Eurovision nightmare
To date, it is arguably his most successful acting role - and with good reason. Set against the backdrop of 1980s London, the Russell T. Davies scripted It's A Sin won multiple awards for its heart wrenching portrayal of a gay community torn apart by the ravages of AIDS. But it was Olly Alexander who commanded the screen as Richie Tozer - a fun-loving young actor who would ultimately fall victim to the disease. Already established as lead singer of pop group Years & Years, Alexander, 35, consequently received multiple award nominations, while the show earned a BAFTA TV win for its harrowing portrayal of a society left blindsided by the AIDS crisis. Reflecting on his involvement in the Channel 4 mini-series with the September issue of Tatler, the British star admitted accepting the role helped him face an uncomfortable truth. He said: 'I didn't realise it until I went towards it, but I had inherited this fear around HIV and sex, which is connected to the shame I had about being gay. 'It helped me unpack all of that. I never understood actors who say they brought their characters home with them until I did.' In It's A Sin, Tozer is an openly gay man among friends, but remains closeted to his parents until they are forced to confront his sexuality head on after discovering he has AIDS. While Alexander has always been open about his own sexuality off-screen, he admits a media advisor warned him not to 'come out' to the public when he first entered the music industry in his twenties. 'You'd never give that advice now, and it was terrible advice then,' he said. 'I knew it was never really going to be an option for me, but it did feel like a fork-in-the-road moment.' But North Yorkshire born Alexander admits his own journey as a young gay man confronted by the bright lights of London mirrors that of Tozer. 'I feel like a lot of my identity has been fostered in London,' he said. 'I was a very young gay boy, too scared to go out until I was 20. 'Then I would just go to every club: Madame Jojo's, East Bloc, Dalston Superstore, The Joiners Arms and The George and Dragon. 'I was there every weekend, trying to find my people. It was just joyful chaos.' Away from the small screen, Alexander released solo album Polari - his first without Years & Years - in February, just nine months after representing the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest. With his pop star pedigree, there were high hopes for the singer after he announced his involvement in the annual competition and unveiled his chosen song, the upbeat electro-pop single Dizzy. But it would end in bitter disappointment for Alexander after a sexually charged performance at Sweden's Malmö Arena failed to impress viewers across mainland Europe, with the United Kingdom winning 46 points and finishing in a miserable 18th place. 'Now that I've had a bit of time away, I'm so proud I got to do it,' he told Tatler. 'But it was also very stressful, it can be very vulnerable and isolating.' After years of failure at the competition, Alexander admits he'd predicted the outcome long before he took to the stage. 'Everyone said, 'You're going to bring it home, Olly'', he recalled. 'I knew I wouldn't.'

Simon Cowell 'never been so angry' after treatment on Celebrity SAS show
X Factor star, Lucy Spraggan, has spilled the beans on Simon Cowell's brief cameo on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which returns to Channel 4 on Sunday Simon Cowell was fuming after his small stint on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins recently, according to the show's new recruit, Lucy Spraggan. The dad-of-one, 65, who walked the X Factor star, 34, down the aisle last year, is not part of the lineup, but pops up in the Channel 4 endurance show when he calls Lucy to try and help motivate her. The singer, who has been close friends with Simon following her harrowing experience on the X Factor in 2012, is reportedly hung up on by the DS (directing staff) when he tries to rally his pal, leaving the media mogul "so angry". Speaking to The Sun, Lucy said: "The DS [directing staff] hung up on him and he was like, 'I've never been so angry'." In the interview, the singer also said the 65-year-old considered appearing on the show himself, but she was worried he'd 'die'. She revealed: "He thought it was a great idea, me doing the show. He knows I love being outdoors. We do a lot of shooting air rifles and stuff together, so he knows this is my thing, testing my mental resilience. "It was just funny because he had said, 'Oh, maybe I'll try and have a go at it'. I was like, 'Simon, you would literally die!'. It was funny because it really contextualised how hard it was that I just straight away said to him, 'You would have no chance.' Lucy bestowed the biggest honour on the media mogul when he walked her down the aisle last year. The former X Factor boss also made a speech at her wedding to the "love of her life" Emilia Smith. And while many fans may be bamboozled at Lucy's close bond with Simon, she's spoken fondly about him and how she knows a "very wholesome version" of the multi-millionaire. Lucy - who is estranged from her biological dad - and Simon were able to build a strong bond over the last four years after he apologised for not supporting her following her harrowing sex attack in 2012 while she was filming The X Factor. At the time, Lucy was only 21 years old and was sexually attacked by a hotel porter named Soby John, who used his hotel key card to enter her room after she had passed out drunk after celebrating Rylan Clark's birthday. But it wasn't until the death of Caroline Flack in 2020, Lucy felt able to speak out about her ordeal. Her attacker was sentenced to 10 years and was deported back to India, after serving three years of his sentence. Lucy now has her sights set on winning Celebrity SAS in which she stars alongside Love Island 's Tasha Ghouri, The Traitors ' Harry Clark, S Club's Hannah Spearritt and former glamour model Rebecca Loos.

Bonnie Blue's doomed marriage to childhood boyfriend who started her sex career
Viral adult star Bonnie Blue has opened up about her failed marriage for the first time in a new Channel 4 documentary that delves into her unusual life behind the scenes Away from extreme sex stunts and bragging about sleeping with married men on social media, Tia Billinger, the real woman behind the Bonnie Blue persona, has kept her love life largely under wraps. But now she has given a first glimpse into what life is really like behind the scenes of her lucrative porn empire - speaking for the first time about her failed marriage. Bonnie swapped her social media stunts for documentary cameras as she allowed Channel 4 producers complete access to her life for six months. Dark lonely life of Bonnie Blue from acid attack fears and seclusion to divorce 'I saw real Bonnie Blue behind closed doors - there's one dark truth people don't see' A new show, titled "1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story" sees the star sat at home surrounded by Pepsi Max cans, delivery boxes and her fluffy white Pomeranian as she completes wholesome puzzles and other crafts. It's world's away from the gritty sex challenges she films at work, including one event that saw her sleep with 1,057 men in just 12 hours. But it's clear that her lifestyle lacks the glitz and glamour you might expect from a 26-year-old millionaire - instead, she seems lonely and isolated and admits she can't leave the house alone and has full time security to protect her. Bonnie, a former NHS recruitment worker from Derbyshire, split up with her husband and childhood sweetheart Oliver Davidson as her career took off. Her closest friends now seem to be Josh, her live-in videographer, and a stylist named Hermes. She says in the show: "My sort of circles got smaller, but my team are also my best friends." It was actually Oliver, or Ollie as he's known to Tia, who encouraged her to move into sex work. "I met Ollie when I was like 14, 15," she explains in the show. "We got married really young. Pretty, quite intimate wedding, nothing crazy, nothing over the top. Then we relocated to Australia shortly afterwards." As Bonnie opens up on her relationship, viewers are shown never-before-seen photos of the couple. One shows a young, make-up Tia posing for a selfie with Ollie as she affectionately pulls him close and holds his face. Another pic shows the couple on their weddding day surrounded by family, with Bonnie dressed in a sparkly silver jumpsuit holding a white bouqet of roses and Ollie in a dapper dark suit. And a third selfie shows the pair smiling on a beach in Australia after the big move, with Bonnie's glitzy wedding and engagement rings on show. "Ollie was beyond supportive, he gave me the confidence to do OnlyFans," the star explains. "And it wasn't because he wanted to pimp me out, he just wanted me to be happy and have control of my life. And obviously the money was good as well." In the documentary, Ollie attends a porn awards ceremony with Bonnie in Vegas. Breaking his silence, he gushes about Bonnie's sex stunts and says he's proud of her. It's the first time he's spoken out about his ex's career, as he's stayed out of the spotlight until now. "She really connects with the fans. Most people, if they do porn, they seem out of reach. You're never going to meet them. You're never going to be able to film with them," he says. "Whereas Bonnie puts a location online, and then obviously her fans can actually film with her. It's like a defining moment in porn, where she's completely changed the game." And in a new interview today, Bonnie shared exactly why things didn't work between her and Ollie. She told the Daily Mail that they broke up some time before she moved back to the UK from Australia in 2024, and that Ollie returned before her. "We loved each other, but we weren't in love. So we separated, but we didn't make it official," she said. "Me doing what I've done recently had nothing to do with the relationship breakdown. But, of course, no one will believe me."
