Coolie advance booking: Kerala shows to begin at 6 am, Tamil Nadu shows at 9 am
The Tamil Nadu government has cancelled the early morning shows after the death of a fan during the 'Thunivu' FDFS (first-day first-show) in 2023. Hence, the first show in the state will begin only at 9 am. The film has been given an A certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification.Many theatres in Tamil Nadu have already put out clear disclaimers that people who are below 18 years will not be allowed inside the theatre halls.
In the United Kingdom, the film has been censored without any cuts. The first show will begin at 12.30 am (5 am IST).
At the time of publishing the copy, Dubai had listed 9.30 am (IST) shows for 'Coolie'. One can expect early shows to be added in the days to come.
According to early trade reports, 'Coolie' has already raked in $2 million in pre-sales with $1.3 million from North America alone. Prathyangira Cinemas, who is distributing the film in North America, announced that over 50,000 tickets have been sold as of now.
