In previous years, they have sold big and recruited wisely, earning the tag as one of the best self-sustaining clubs in Europe.
Last summer, they raked in around £85m from Dani Olmo and Mohamed Sinakan.
The year before, a whopping total of around £188m for Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai and Josko Gvardiol.
And in 2021, they managed to convince Bayern Munich to fork out a record-breaking £21m to lure manager Julian Nagelsmann away.

Leipzig need to cut their wage bill by at least 20 per cent to balance the books, and need funds to provide a competitive group of players for new manager Ole Werner.
They had hoped that winger Xavi Simons – who they signed for a club record £70m including add-ons in January before asking to leave this summer – could generate a good return, but his recent form has not turned heads.
In this window then, Leipzig have accepted that Sesko, 22, will be the man to fill up their kitty.
The issue is that Arsenal have still not made a bid – and that is seriously worrying the German club.

SunSport understands that, as it stands, negotiations over a fee that both clubs are happy to shake hands on are at a stalemate.
And there are no signs of progressing, despite Arsenal and boss Mikel Arteta's well-documented admiration of the young Slovenian.

They have also already agreed on personal terms with the player.
Arsenal consider around £60m a fair price.
Leipzig would prefer upwards of £70m, but the Gunners are ready to dig their heels in and hold out, playing hardball for their man.
Arsenal know that Leipzig are getting desperate, in a weak negotiating position financially, and they are confident they represent Sesko's best chance of a move this summer with other suitors, for now, looking elsewhere for a No.9.
Sesko's agent Elvis Basanovic has so far been reluctant to pressure Leipzig into a sale.
There are frustrations that the 'gentleman's agreement' the the striker could leave for £60m is in danger of being broken.
But Sesko's entourage know relations need to be kept sweet should his player stay in Germany, and has been keeping a lower profile than usual.

Inside Arsenal's frustrating striker transfer saga
By Jordan Davies
ARSENAL'S never-ending hunt for a world-class striker is in turmoil as deals for Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres stall.
The Gunners were confident of doing their business quickly this summer after months of preparation by boss Mikel Arteta and new sporting director Andrea Berta.
But inflated asking prices and broken gentlemen's agreements have derailed those plans and left Arsenal frustrated.
Sesko believed he would be allowed to leave RB Leipzig for around £60million, while SunSport understands Gyokeres was told £59m would be enough to seal his own exit.
But those price-tags have gone up, leaving Arsenal debating whether they represent value for money.
While the players' camps are also growing restless, knowing the Gunners can only sign one of them.
So what next? Will Arsenal keep waiting in the hope of fees eventually going down? Or turn to other targets, like Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike?
Whatever they decide, with pre-season looming and the fixtures already out, Arteta will be desperate for them to move quickly to avoid another nearly season.
The hope for Arsenal is that, in the coming weeks, Leipzig lose patience and lower their asking price, in need of the funds as soon as possible to get their own deals over the line.
But SunSport understands they have still not yet highlighted a preferred Sesko replacement.
There is, however, a growing unrest within the Leipzig fanbase which could also force the club's hand in negotiations.
There are concerns Sesko will not react well to not getting his move, especially given their absence from the Champions League.
Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta will not wait around forever though.
The ideally want a striker through the door before their pre-season tour of Singapore and Hong Kong on July 19.
And they have maintained an interest in Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres and Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike should the Sesko move collapse.
In short, it looks a mess from the outside, but Arsenal remain calm over their approach.

HEINZE STRAIGHT IN
FORMER Manchester United and Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze will join Mikel Arteta's coaching staff at Arsenal.
The Argentine will fill in after the recent departure of assistant Carlos Cuesta, who became Parma's new head coach.
And SunSport understands that Heinze is set to get straight to work by joining the squad on their warm-weather trip to Spain next week ahead of their pre-season two-week tour of Asia from July 19.
Arteta is keen to integrate Heinze, 47, with the players quickly to develop lasting relationships, as well as helping his new man get to grips with the demands of supporting a Premier League squad.
Argentine coach Heinze has spent most of his managerial career in his home nation, as well as a short stint in the MLS with Atlanta United.

Maori All Blacks 26 Scotland 29: Scots survive early setback and late drama to beat Maori All Blacks for first time EVER

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SCOTLAND survived a first minute setback and a dramatic late fightback to kick off their summer tour of New Zealand with their first EVER victory over the Maori All Blacks. In what was the first meeting between the two teams for quarter of a century, tries from Harry Paterson, George Horne (2), and Arron Reed plus three conversions and a penalty from Adam Hastings were enough to secure a thrilling 29-26 win in Whangerei. The outcome was very much in doubt when home scrum half Sam Nock ran in for an unconverted try within seconds. But Gregor Townsend's men rallied strongly. Wing Harry Paterson touched down inches inside the back of the in-goal area after a grubber kick to give the Scots a route back into the match. Adam Hastings converted then slotted a penalty to give the Scots breathing space at 10-7, before Horne got on the end of another clever kick ahead, the conversion stretching the visitors' advantage to 17-5. But the Maori All Blacks are formidable opponents and when lock forward Isaia Isaia Walker-Leawere fell over the line to score the home side's second try the Scots knew they were in a game. A yellow card for Alexander Masibaka compounded matters but Scotland's answer was simply to go up the other end and score a try, quicksilver wing Arron Reed touching down another chip from Ollie Smith this time with Hastings adding the conversion. The Scots went in at half time 24-12 to the good then produced their finest try of the game when a flowing move saw Hutchinson feed Reed, who found Horne who galloped over in the corner. But what an onslaught they faced to get this over the line. Hollywood star Gerard Butler spotted at Scotland vs England Calcutta Cup rugby clash With the clock in the red, Cameron Anderson found himself yellow carded but the short-handed Scots managed to summon the energy to win one last turnover before kicking the ball gleefully out of play. Chelsea boss makes transfer statement amid Arsenal interest in Noni Madueke

Chelsea defeated Palmeiras in the Club World Cup final before Enzo Maresca was asked about Noni Madueke's future at the club amid speculation over interest from Arsenal Enzo Maresca has declared any player who is unhappy at Chelsea is free to go, amid speculation Arsenal could make a move for Noni Madueke. The Gunners are reported to be considering a bid for the winger, though the Blues' £50million valuation could prove a stumbling block. Madueke came off the bench in Chelsea's Club World Cup quarter-final win over Palmeiras, as they progressed to set up a fixture with Fluminense in the next round. The Italian suggested that England international Madueke was an important part of his squad over the last 12 months. ‌ The 23-year-old, who came through the ranks at Tottenham before joining PSV in his teenage years, scored 11 goals and made five assists to help the Blues to Champions League qualification and the Conference League title. ‌ "Noni has been very important for us during this season," said Maresca after Chelsea's win. "Today, again, he has been important. "But my message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us. The ones that are not happy, they are free to go. "It's not for Noni, it's for all the players we have. But again, Noni has been very good during the season and very good tonight." Despite an impactful season from Madueke, he is already under increased comptetition ahead of the next campaign. The Blues have added Joao Pedro, who made his debut against Palmeiras, to their squad and faced off against Estevao on Friday evening ahead of his arrival after the Club World Cup. Chelsea have also made a deal for Jamie Gittens who arrives from Borussia Dortmund. The ex-Manchester academy product was in attendance in Philadelphia for Chelsea's win. ‌ "Jamie was here tonight, he was on the pitch," said Maresca. "And he will be with us probably one more day, two days more. And then he will go for a holiday and come back when we're going to start the new season. "Estevao, I spoke with him for the first time after the game. I told him that it's been the perfect night because we won, he scored. So it's been perfect for us and for him." Leeds icon Stuart Dallas ‘not missing' a thing about football one year on after horror injury forced early retirement

IT'S BEEN over a year since a horror injury finally forced Stuart Dallas into retirement. Though the Leeds United legend, 34, is not missing a single thing about playing and won't even contemplate coaching until he can be 'honest with himself' and give it everything. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 Stuart Dallas looks back on the first year of retirement without any regret Credit: Getty 3 The former midfielder suffered a horror injury three years ago Credit: AFP 3 The Elland Road ace collided with Jack Grealish when disaster struck Credit: AFP Ex-Northern Ireland international Dallas made over 250 appearances for the Elland Road outfit and was a pivotal part of Marcelo Bielsa's promotion-winning side. But disaster struck in April 2022 when he suffered a femoral fracture in his knee after a sickening on-field collision with Man City's Jack Grealish. Dallas bravely fought to save his career but the 'irreparable damage' eventually forced him to hang up his boots in May 2024 following a two-year battle. The injury was so bad it still causes him pain today - though it's all physical rather than mental as he does not miss a thing about playing. Speaking to Sun Sport at the Leeds American Golf for the #RifeDontMiss putting challenge, celebrating the launch of the new RIFE Black Edition putters, Dallas said: 'My knee's alright. It allows me to do what I need to do now. I still need to go to the gym and keep up the strength in it. I knew that anyway and I suppose it holds me accountable to get in the gym and stuff as well. I play a bit of padel here and there too. 'I'm able to do bits and pieces and so far I've not really had many problems. It's a bit sore at times but that's just part and parcel of it due to how complex the injury was.' For some, watching your former team-mates storm to Championship promotion after your forced retirement would have rubbed extra salt in the wound. Not Dallas though. BEST FREE BETS AND BETTING SIGN UP OFFERS He said: 'I'm in a good place and I always have been throughout it. It's been totally fine. I'll be totally honest with you, I don't miss any of it. Because of the age I was and I knew that I couldn't physically play at that level - I don't miss any of it. 'I'm very, very comfortable with my decision. I have a good life, a beautiful family who are healthy. I've got nothing to complain about.' Leeds boss Jesse Marsch says that Stuart Dallas's knee injury is serious Daniel Farke, who Dallas spent his final year as a pro under, was the man who guided Leeds back to the top-flight. Despite lifting the title, the German coach faced intense speculation over his future before the club backed him publicly. And with three new additions - striker Lukas Nmecha, centre-back Jaka Bijol and defender Sebastiaan Bornauw - on board already, Dallas has no doubts that Farke deserved a shot at keeping Leeds up after bouncing back from last year's play-off heartbreak. He said: 'He's been brilliant. He's remained calm throughout his whole time here and didn't panic when things were going against him. Having worked with him I know exactly how he is and what he says in the media and how he acts is exactly the same and that's brilliant for players. 'When he stuck his neck on the line and said that he was 100 per cent convinced that Leeds would get promoted, as a player that would give me a lot of confidence to go and perform. 'It's definitely the right decision to keep him. What he's achieved over back-to-back Championship seasons can't be topped. He'll have learned from his mistakes in the Premier League before with Norwich and is going to be obviously backed a bit better hopefully.' Speaking of coaches, Dallas revealed his own plans to start his journey into the dug-out when confirming his playing days were done. Though the ex-Brentford ace, who was equally at home on the pitch at full-back or in midfield, has put that on the back-burner for now - until he is ready to go into it with the same commitment he showed on the pitch. He added: 'I've done my badges. It's not something where I've been focused on. Maybe down the line. I've got a lot to offer the game. At the minute there's so many other avenues that I can go down. 'To be a coach, you've got to be fully committed. Not just for yourself, but for the people that you will be coaching. If I am to go into that, I want to be 100 per cent fully focused on it. 'At the minute there's just other things going on that doesn't allow me to do that. I wouldn't be being honest with myself or with the people that I'd be coaching.' Dallas appeared at the second #RifeDontMiss Challenge, celebrating the launch of the new RIFE Black Edition putters.
