‘Bridgerton' actress Genevieve Chenneour fights off thief, accomplice who ‘threatened to stab' her in shocking coffee shop clash
Actress Genevieve Chenneour turned the tables on a notorious thief and his accomplice who threatened to stab her 'multiple times' during a bold phone-snatching attempt at a London coffee shop, dramatic footage shows.
Chenneour, who played Clara Livingston in the third season of Netflix's hit series 'Bridgerton,' said Wednesday that she was left with a concussion after prolific London thug Zacariah Boulares, 18, attacked her at a Joe & the Juice in London's ritzy Kensington neighborhood.
Shocking footage shows Chenneour, 27, confronting the convicted thief who snuck up behind her before snatching her phone on February 8.

Chenneour wasted no time springing into action after Boulares — dressed in all black with a navy baseball cap — pounced to grab her device just moments after his friend left the table.
The actress — a former Team GB artistic swimmer — put her arm out to block Boulares from leaving the premises, causing him to drop the phone on the floor.
She successfully retrieves the phone while Boulares grapples with her friend, leaving onlookers stunned.
'The guy that walks up to me at the end was the man threatening to stab me multiple times,' Chenneour wrote on her Instagram Story Wednesday.
'That was the moment something took over me and the physical fight became life or death in my mind. Crazy, watching the beginning of this footage, it gives me chills.'

After sharing several other clips of the ordeal with her 15,000 followers on the platform, the actress added, 'Man I feel sick watching this.'
Another video showed her distressed Maltipoo pup during the physical brawl.
'My poor baby was screaming and barking. I now have a major issue with people touching me in front of him thanks to these c–s,' the Netflix star added.
Chenneour claimed that authorities released Boulares' accomplice due to insufficient evidence.
'The man that threatened to stab me will not be going to court and has been released due to lack of evidence,' she wrote. 'I know karma will get him.'

Chenneour previously opened up about the distressing incident in an interview with the Daily Mail, saying the thugs 'didn't expect' her to fight back.
'I was left with a concussion just before the Screen Actors Guild Awards and since then, I've felt constantly on edge,' she told the outlet.
'Even my dog was traumatized — now, if anyone touches me, he panics and tries to protect me. Getting a coffee shouldn't be something you need your wits about you for.'

'I'm so grateful to the staff at Joe & The Juice — they were incredible during the incident and when I went back to see them after,' she added.
Boulares has a long criminal record and previously served time for threatening to behead Welsh singer Aled Jones during a robbery in which he stole the singer's $23,000 Rolex in London.
The then-16-year-old was sentenced to 24 months in custody for the attack in October 2023 but was released early after serving just 14 months.
'That moment is a blur of survival. And to know that Boulares had previously walked the street with a machete makes me realize how serious this threat was,' Chenneour said following the ordeal.
'London has become increasingly dangerous, and this cannot be normalized. I'm not just speaking for myself — I'm speaking for every person who's had enough.'

Pedro Pascal slaps Joaquin Phoenix during a heated standoff in first trailer for Hereditary director's pandemic drama that critics are calling "the first truly modern western"
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The first full-length trailer for Eddington, directed by Ari Aster, has arrived - it looks a truly wild time. In the brief clip, which can be viewed below, Sherriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) slowly but surely starts to unravel as COVID-19 hits the small town of Eddington and tensions begin to rise amongst residents. Joe ends up starting a war with Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal), who is running for reelection. There's plenty of gunfire, protests, and violence - though nothing beats the scene where Pascal slaps Phoenix across the face. We also get our first glimpse at Emma Stone as Joe's wife Louise, Deirdre O'Connell as Louise's mother, and Austin Butler as Vernon Jefferson Peak, who appears to be a religious zealot. The cast also includes Luke Grimes, Micheal Ward, and Clifton Collins Jr. The contemporary Western had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Palme D'or and was apparently met with a mixed reaction from viewers and critics alike. "Covid felt like an inflection point, where the link to the old society we lived in was finally cut," Aster told The New York Times, explaining his vision for the film. "That old idea of democracy being something that could be any sort of countervailing force to power and tech and finance, it went away completely at that moment, and it's where I think we became fully isolated. Eddington is set to hit theaters on July 18. For more, check out our list of the most exciting upcoming movies in 2025 and beyond, or, check out our list of movie release dates.

How Timothée Chalamet Popularized the ‘Old Money Haircut' for Men With a Modern Spin on Timeless Elegance
Long gone are the days of the Justin Bieber flow and all its side part glory. Now, a new style has been instated for men, one with just as much attitude but a lot more dimension. According to Fresha, Google search for 'old money haircut' saw a 122 percent increase in the last year and 5,000 search queries just this month, and it's all thanks to Timothée Chalamet, who famously chopped his mane over a year ago for his role as Bob Dylan in the 2024 biopic, 'A Complete Unknown.' Since then, the 29-year-old actor has kept his hair clipped in short, shaggy layers. More from WWD The 16 Best Hair Styling Tools, Tested and Reviewed by Editors Hailey Bieber's Rhode Earned $20 Million in Media Exposure After E.l.f. Beauty Acquired the Brand for $1 Billion Princess Beatrice's Royal Ascot Looks Through the Years: Favoring Florals in Zimmermann, Going Classic in Black-and-white Jonathan Simkhai and More The traditional 'old money haircut' belongs to the male beauty aesthetic of the 1950s. The style can only be described as a quiff with little to no hair sticking out from the sides. Chalamet, for the most part, has stayed true to this mold. However, he's also taken a more 'rough around the edges' approach, spiking little pieces on top of his head and flattening his bangs on his forehead like a brooding indie rocker. Othertimes, he's morphed into a James Dean doppelganger, combing his mane all the way back. Chalamet's longtime hairstylist Jamie Taylor, whose client list includes Patrick Schwarzenegger and Sebastian Stan, is responsible for the upkeep of his pompadour for major events and awards season appearances. Taylor notably groomed the 'Wonka' star on the night he received the David Award for Cinematic Excellence in Italy this past May, which also happened to be the same night he made his relationship with Kylie Jenner red carpet official. The hair architect was also behind Chalamet's soft curls for his Bleu de Chanel campaign images, the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Oscars. The search interest in 'old money haircuts' comes after Chalamet was seen sitting courtside with the 'do at almost every New York Knicks game in May. The rising trend is also uniquely coinciding with diminishing interest in the 'rat boy' aesthetic, as popularized by girls on TikTok last summer. At its height, the term was used to describe male stars who were thought to have an unconventional, rodent-like look such as Matty Healy, Mike Faist, Harris Dickinson and Chalamet. In January, WWD reported seeing several quirky hairstyles during the men's fall 2025 presentations in Milan and Paris. Punk-inspired hairdos were spotted storming runways at Magliano and JordanLuca, while hair artist Ilham Mestour seemingly imagined a world in which men walk the streets looking like Albert Einstein for the Feng Chen Wang presentation. Shameless fans buzzing as East Lancashire star make hilarious TikTok debut
Shameless fans are celebrating after one of the show's most iconic stars, Alice Barry, made her hilarious debut on TikTok. The Burnley actress is known for playing Lillian Tyler, a fan-favourite character who owned a brothel on Shameless' Chatsworth estate. Alice's first video has, at the time of writing, amassed more than 500,000 views. In it, she gets into the character of Lillian as she gets 'set up on TikTok'. In the video the former St Mary Magdalene's RC Primary School pupil said: 'TikTok!? We aren't going to get any money out of TikTok. I thought it was OnlyFans.' As well as skits, she has also answered questions left by fans. One TikTok user asked her how she landed the Shameless job. Alice, who still lives in Burnley, said: 'When I went for the audition, it was for a nun. We did the audition and it went well. 'Paul Abbott [creator of Shameless] said 'you were very good but you haven't got the part... but I would like you to come in on Shameless as Lillian, I think you'd be alright'.' Alice Barry (Image: TikTok/@alicebarryofficial) Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, Alice said she was surprised that her TikTok account amassed more than 41,000 followers. She said: 'I had been asked to join TikTok for a long while now and I said no – eventually I gave in and said I would give it a go. 'I didn't realise that I now have more than 41,000 followers I did not expect to get that many followers. 'All of the comments have been so nice, telling me I haven't changed one bit [since starring in Shameless]. Another said I am the Queen of TikTok and Queen of Shameless. 'I can easily get back into the character of Lillian at any moment.' Alice, a former Coal Clough Secondary School pupil, said it's great that so many people still love the Channel 4 show despite ending in 2013, adding that it may have garnered a younger fanbase since being added to Netflix. Alice, who grew up in Haslam Street in Gannow Top, has promised fans more Shameless content and skits in the future. She said: 'It is still on and people are still watching it on Netflix. It's great that the show still has such a strong fan base. 'Wherever I go people still recognise me. If I go for a night out, people still want photographs, which I don't mind. 'I was on Shameless for all of those years, and it was a really good experience.' As well as TikTok, Alice has also launched a Cameo page, where fans can request personalised video messages. Alice, who is in her 70s, said she also has meet and greets planned, including one on June 28 at The Heartbeat Vehicle Rally in Goathland. She said: 'I already have four gigs on Cameo [and I think that is because of] TikTok – they keep coming in.'
