Harry Kane torn on what his favorite Bayern Munich goal has been so far
Ever since joining Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, Harry Kane has gone on to tally 85 goals and 26 assists from a total of 96 appearances across all competitions. On the striker's Cleats Club app (via @iMiaSanMia), the England skipper answered the question of what his favorite Bayern goal is thus far that he's scored, and the striker couldn't decidec from two that stick out from the rest for him. 'I'd say it's between two. The halfway line goal against Darmstadt and my third goal against Augsburg, where Leon played it over the top and I took my touch in the air and then headed it home. Technically it was probably one of the best goals I've scored in my career. So yeah probably between these two,' Kane explained. The pair of goals are certainly worthy of being in his top 10 highlight reel, at least for his Bayern career so far, and they'll both go down in the annals of Bundesliga history. The halfway goal scored against Darmstadt in the 2023/24 season rivals David Beckham's infamous half-field strike against Wimbledon back in 1996, but Kane was, without a trace of doubt, several steps further back than Beckham was when he struck the ball. At the tie, Kane's wonder strike was one of three that he scored in Bayern's 8-0 routing of Darmstadt, who are back in the Bundesliga this season. For the goal against Augsburg from last season, Kane essentially did his best impression of the Bundesliga logo to take a touch to control the ball before calmly heading it past keeper Nediljko Labrović. What made that goal all the more special for Kane was that it completed his hat-trick on that particular evening.
