Tactical work in Germany
The Juventus Men's First Team's work continues in Germany at the Adidas Training Camp. The Bianconeri underwent a double training session on Wednesday, 6 August, to continue building towards the next friendly test. In the morning, Igor Tudor's team focused on technical and tactical work, ending the first session of the day with some training matches. In the afternoon, the team was back on the pitch with a focus on technical work, and training was open to the public with Adidas guests and members present. This double session took place four days before the second friendly of pre-season, with Juventus set to play against Borussia Dortmund on Sunday, 10 August at 17:30 CEST at Signal Iduna Park.

Mats Hummels' ex-wife claims he didn't INVITE son, 7, to farewell match attended by new model girlfriend, 26
MATS HUMMELS' ex-wife Cathy claims that the defender did not invite his seven-year-old son to his Borussia Dortmund farewell match. The German World Cup winner, 36, retired aged 36 following a short stint at Roma. 8 8 8 8 Having played over 500 times for Dortmund across three spells, Hummels was invited back to his former club to play in a farewell match over the weekend. The centre-back received incredible acclaim from the club's fans as he featured in Dortmund's 2-1 defeat to Juventus alongside their current crop. Hummels was cheered on at Signal Iduna Park by model girlfriend Nicola Cavanis, 26. His ex-wife Cathy and son Ludwig, however, were not present at the game. The 78-cap ex-Germany star split from Cathy in 2022 following seven years of marriage, and began dating Nicola the following year. Cathy, 37, shared a snap of Ludwig alongside a newspaper with his dad's picture on it. She wrote: "Someone stole my cap and read about Dad's farewell in the newspaper. So he knows what it was like." In a further post, Cathy added: "To clarify: We are not intentionally missing Mats Hummels' final game. Juventus pick up impressive friendly win over Borussia Dortmund
Juventus beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in impressive fashion, as they prepare for the Serie A season which is set to begin next week. Andrea Cambiaso made the difference in the game held at the Signal Iduna Park, scoring an unlikely brace before Max Beier pulled on back near the end for the Germans. There were plenty of positives for the Bianconeri, including the goalscoring of Cambiaso which is not something naturally associated with the fullback. There were also a good 45 minutes from Bremer who is slowly returning from an injury that kept him out for a massive chunk of the 24/25 season. If the Brazilian can return to his old level, that would be a massive positive for Juve. New signing Joao Mario made his first start but did not look particularly comfortable, which is to be expected. There were some good moments however from another new recruit, Jonathan David, even though he did not register a goal contribution. The big news is that Bremer gets his first start since undergoing surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in October 2024. Teun Koopmeiners was mistakenly named in the starting XI originally released by Juventus, but it is Joao Mario who plays instead. Borussia Dortmund are giving former Roma defender Hummels one final run-out before he hangs up his boots this summer, so he is playing in this friendly for them.
