Heading into the 2025 NFL offseason, Kelce's future was very much in question. Some thought he could ride off into the sunset and retire.

Despite those rumblings, Kelce opted to return for another season. Going out on a Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles just didn't sit right with him,

Fans immediately jumped into the comments section, showering Kelce and Mama Kelce with love.

While the touching moment was heartwarming, Kelce is fully focused on making another championship run during the 2025 season. It could very well be his last chance to do so.

Last season with the Chiefs, Kelce turned in a solid year. It wasn't as good as fans have come to expect from him, but it was a decent season.
In the 16 games he played, the 35-year-old tight end racked up 97 receptions for 823 yards and three touchdowns. He's hoping to reap up his production in 2025.
Only time will tell, but Kelce is back and will continue being an elite target for Patrick Mahomes. Hopefully for both him and Kansas City, his decision to return will pay off with another championship ring.

Jakorian Bennett-Thomas Booker trade grades: Who won the Eagles-Raiders deal?
The Philadelphia Eagles and Las Vegas Raiders just pulled off a player-for-player trade, as the Raiders sent cornerback Jakorian Bennett to the Eagles for defensive tackle Thomas Booker IV. The Eagles needed a bit more depth in the secondary, and the Raiders needed a bit more depth on the defensive line. For each player, this is a chance to press for more playing time with their new teams. However, how did these teams grade out with this player-for-player swap? As you can probably expect, there is a real winner in this, and he is not the general manager for Las Vegas. Let's grade this August NFL trade and determine who got the edge on the deal. Eagles grade Yes, the Eagles won this. Of course they did. We're not sure how the Eagles got Bennett, an ascending talent who flashed real potential with the Raiders, without having to give up any draft capital. Durability has been a bit of a concern for the third-year cornerback, but he could thrive in a rotational role and could even push to start at the second outside corner spot opposite Quinyon Mitchell. It's a little trite at this point to pull out the "How did Howie Roseman get away with this?!" sign, but this is a sweet deal for a young player pressing for a higher ceiling. Giving up only Booker, squarely a role player for the Eagles, is a steal for a player who could push for a starting job. Grade: A Raiders grade The player isn't the problem. After the team's surprise release of defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, the Raiders needed more depth in the trenches. Booker earned snaps with the Eagles last year in their stacked defensive tackle room. That alone gives him a pretty good inside track to making the Las Vegas roster and earning playing time with his new team. He may well be a nice add for first-year general manager John Spytek. However, the fact that he didn't even get a low-round draft pick to go along with Booker for Bennett, the superior player who could push to start at cornerback for Philadelphia... rookie mistake. The Raiders will probably regret this deal... not for adding Booker, but for only getting a single player out of trading away a rising player on a rookie deal like Bennett. Colts QB depth chart: What we know about Anthony Richardson vs. Daniel Jones
Training camps are in full swing across the NFL. Teams are ironing out their depth charts and making roster moves to get down to 53 active players by the time the regular season rolls around. This week offers a first glimpse at those depth charts as teams release them ahead of their first preseason games. That includes the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are entering year three with coach Shane Steichen and quarterback Anthony Richardson, who the team selected No. 4 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. Richardson's played just 15 games over his first two seasons and gone 8-7 as a starter. This offseason, Indianapolis signed veteran quarterback Daniel Jones to provide some depth at the position with starting experience. Given Richardson's injury history, having Jones in the building could help keep the team afloat should he miss time again. But Indianapolis made the curious move to not commit to a QB1 in their first depth chart announcement of training camp. Instead, they list the starting quarterback as Richardson or Jones. 'Both have been doing a really good job,' Steichen said earlier this week. 'Both of them have made plays at a high level the last couple days, and that's what you want to see. You want to see growth, you want to see completions, you want to see the offense moving up and down the field.' Steichen hasn't indicated which way he's leaning for the starter in the Colts' preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens on the road. He stated that both Richardson and Jones will see time but hasn't specified who will be under center to start the game. Even then, Steichen's made it clear that the competition is far from decided. 'They'll play a good amount,' Steichen said. 'I mean, one will play a good amount this game, and the next one will probably play a good amount the next game.' Riley Leonard, the Colts' sixth-round pick (No. 189 overall) in the 2025 NFL Draft, is behind Richardson and Jones on the depth chart as QB2. Former undrafted free agent Jason Bean rounds out the depth chart.
