Victoria Justice Got Death Threats Over Ariana Grande Meme

Buzz Feed14-05-2025

I think we've ALL seen that famous Victoria Justice meme that went viral in 2017.
The video in question features then-teenage Victoria being interviewed outdoors with her fellow Victorious cast members, including Ariana Grande, Liz Gillies, and Daniella Monet. When the group were asked which cast member sings the most outside of filming, and largely agreed that it was Ariana, Victoria — who played leading character Tori Vega on the hit Nickelodeon series — interjected and said, 'I think we ALL sing.'
The clip seemingly sparked a load of tension between Ariana and Victoria, with the pair appearing to shade each other over the years. However, Victoria shut down the long-running feud rumors during a 2023 interview.
Fast forward to today, and Victoria has reflected on the viral moment once again during a new appearance on Mythical Kitchen's Last Meals.
While reacting to online praise, Victoria noted that it was 'very nice' to see people being kind to her because for so long, she'd dealt with a lot of hate. 'There was a time for so long on the internet where I felt like people hated me,' she said. 'It can really be a ruthless place. And mob mentality is such a real thing.'
When asked what she thought prompted the 'hate train,' Victoria mentioned the viral meme. Explaining that she was only '16 or 17' when the video was filmed, Victoria recalled feeling pretty confused by all the immense hate.
'First of all, it's factual. We did all sing, OK? What do you want from me?! Speaking the facts,' she said.
'And then it's like I got all this hate, SO much hate,' she said. 'I'm like, 'What did I do? What did I do?' I'm sitting here living my life, just trying to work, live. It was wild.'
Victoria went on to recall receiving death threats over the entire thing. 'I got so much hate, dude. I got death threats,' she said. "I felt bad for my mom, 'cause she was looking at all this stuff online and she was freaking out."
'It really took on a life of its own and became a thing,' she said, before adding: 'Now I think it's funny. I'm in on the joke. I even say it to myself all the time…It was definitely a thing where it was like, the internet hates Victoria Justice right now.'

Reality Star Confronts Wife in Court Over Plotting His Murder

Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin confronted his estranged wife in court Thursday, delivering a scathing statement as she was sentenced for plotting to have him killed. 'This person over here, I don't know at all. Not one bit,' Aaron said of his wife, Victoria Goodwin, while addressing the judge, according to US Weekly. 'The fact that this person did all this to me with no worry, no care or love in her heart for me—I will never feel the same.' Victoria pled guilty in April to conspiracy to commit murder in Nevada, after she was caught messaging Florida prison inmate Grant Amato in an attempt arrange Aaron's killing. Amato is serving life in prison for shooting his father, mother, and brother Cody in the head at their home in Florida in 2019 and attempting to stage it as a murder-suicide committed by his brother. Victoria allegedly offered $11,515 for the hit, sharing her husband's location with Amato—a convicted killer—who was expected to relay the information to a hitman. The murder was set to take place in Oct. 2024, while Aaron was filming Ghost Adventures in California. At Thursday's sentencing at Nevada's Clark County District Court, Victoria turned to Aaron, whom she wed in 2020, and apologized through tears. 'I'm so immensely sorry for the pain and anxiety I've caused you and the betrayal you undoubtedly and rightfully feel by my actions,' she said, US Weekly reported. Aaron, who investigates paranormal activity on his show, described the ordeal as 'a heartbreak no one should go through in life,' especially after he had tried to salvage their relationship even after discovering in Sept. 2024 that Victoria had been cheating on him with 'multiple men,' including Amato. 'I gave her the option of divorce where we could work it out because I loved her so much. She made me feel so special and she was very—she was so sorry,' Aaron said, before turning to address Victoria directly. 'At least that's what you told me.' Instead, he continued, 'She put a hit out to kill me more than once, got blackmailed, and spent almost all our savings to keep it quiet, and fell more in love with Amato.' Chilling messages Victoria sent to Amato about their sinister plan were recovered from her phone by investigators. 'Am I a bad person?' one message read. 'Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.' Aaron, who filed for divorce in March, said uncovering Victoria's murder-for-hire plot has left him unable to 'trust anything anymore,' and led him to hire armed security. 'I still won't feel safe whenever she's released,' he said. The judge sentenced Victoria to between three and seven-and-a-half years in prison.

Why Victoria Beckham Will Soon Become Lady Beckham

After 14 years of waiting, David Beckham is set to receive a knighthood from King Charles in the King's birthday honors list. As a result, the soccer legend's wife, Victoria, will be known as Lady Beckham going forward. Both Beckhams have long had an affinity for the royal family, attending both Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding in 2011 and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding in his growing friendship with King Charles, David Beckham is set to receive a knighthood in the King's latest birthday honors list—thereby making David's wife, Victoria, Lady Beckham. After first being nominated for knighthood in 2011 (according to People), it seems it's all finally happening for the soccer legend. A lifelong royalist, this isn't David's first brush with British honors—as far back as 2003, he was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire). In being granted a knighthood by Charles, David will be awarded for his soccer career and his contribution to British society, according to the BBC. There have been hints of David's impending knighthood over the past year—David was named an ambassador to The King's Foundation in 2024; he and Victoria attended a dinner at Highgrove, the King's country home, back in February of this year; and just last month, he was heard telling the King and Queen Camilla thank you for his 50th birthday gift. 'I'm excited to be working with The King's Foundation and to have the opportunity to help raise awareness of the charity's work,' David said in a statement at the time of his appointment. 'I've always been keen to help young people to expand their horizons, and I'm particularly looking forward to supporting the Foundation's education programs and its efforts to ensure young people have greater access to nature.' David's appointment ends 'years of speculation about whether he would be knighted,' The Telegraph reported. In addition to their other numerous appearances supporting the royal family—including David queuing for hours along with the general public to pay his respects to Queen Elizabeth after her death in 2022—David and Victoria attended a state dinner at Buckingham Palace late last year, and Kate Middleton recently (and poignantly) wore a Victoria Beckham design to an event put on by the British Fashion Council. The Beckhams' royal connections are deep enough that they attended the royal weddings of both Prince William and Kate in 2011 and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018. During an interview at the World Economic Forum, David called himself a 'huge royalist' and said (via People), 'I always get emotional talking about anything that I do with our royal family, because I've always been a huge royalist. I was brought up in a household that adored and loved everything that came with the royal family.' Read the original article on InStyle

Epic Colombian Drama Makes Its U.S. Audio Debut in Groundbreaking Serialized Format DALLAS, June 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- reVolver Podcasts, in collaboration with Caracol TV, proudly announces the exclusive U.S. release of La Esclava Blanca ("The White Slave"), a powerful, audio-adapted version of the internationally acclaimed Colombian television series. This gripping telenovela, now transformed into an immersive podcast experience, weaves a sweeping tale of justice, love, and identity set against the brutal legacy of slavery in 19th-century Latin America. La Esclava Blanca tells the story of Victoria Quintero, the orphaned daughter of wealthy Spanish landowners who is secretly raised by runaway slaves in a hidden maroon community after her parents are murdered in a conspiracy to steal their estate. Believed to be dead, Victoria spends her youth among those who risked everything to protect her—until a violent raid tears the only family she's ever known apart. Escaping death once again, Victoria is sent to a convent in Spain, where she's trained to become a noblewoman. Years later, she returns to her birthplace of Santa Marta under a false identity—posing as a Spanish aristocrat engaged to the very man who orchestrated her family's destruction. Her goal is to rescue the enslaved community she grew up with, expose the truth behind her parents' deaths, and reunite with Miguel, the forbidden childhood love she never forgot.
