Fans grow concerned after Kelly Clarkson remains absent from her self-named talk show
Where is Kelly Clarkson?
It's the question many fans of her show are asking after her last appearance on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show.'
On March 3, Clarkson was unexpectedly absent from her hosting chair and her would-be guest actor Simu Lu was asked to step in as guest host as a result.
'Kelly isn't able to make it today. We're sending her our very best,' Lu told the audience. 'I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie 'Last Breath.''
He continued, saying, 'I'm here now, and look, I'm not one to back down from a challenge.'
Clarkson then returned to her rightful place on March 4 and 5, but didn't acknowledge her absence.
From March 6 to 11, Clarkson remained absent from the show as several celebrities filled in for her, including Josh Groban, Brooke Shields, Willie Geist and more.
Actress Molly Sims is scheduled to finish out this week as guest host.
Although Clarkson hasn't addressed her absence, fans are hoping she's OK.
'I just want to know if Kelly is okay cuz it's now been kind of a long time,' one commenter wrote.
Under a video of Shields hosting the show, another fan wrote that she is doing a 'FANTASTIC job in Kelly Clarkson's absence, but just know that Kelly's fans are concerned at this point.'
In addition to being a successful singer, host, and businesswoman, Kelly Clarkson is also a mom to 10-year-old River Rose and 8-year-old Remy Alexander.
The kids have occasionally appeared on the show.
Remy went viral in 2024 when he sang 'I Did It My Way' for the live audience.

Lizzo's New Single Finally Becomes A Hit, With Some Help From A Major Pop Star
Lizzo's 'Still Bad' debuts at No. 11 on Digital Song Sales after a duet with Kelly Clarkson, marking ... More her first chart hit in over a year. ROSKILDE, DENMARK - JULY 01: Lizzo performs at Roskilde Festival 2023 on July 01, 2023 in Roskilde, Denmark. (Photo by Joseph Okpako/WireImage) It's been well over two months since Lizzo released her most recent single, "Still Bad." The track was a commercial disappointment in its earliest days, as the singer, songwriter and rapper was surely hoping it would become a major hit and kick off her latest album campaign, as she's currently hyping the world for her forthcoming Love in Real Life. But sadly, that didn't turn out to be the case. Long after the tune was shared with the public, it finally becomes a bestseller in America, thanks to an assist from another one of the most successful women in pop music. "Still Bad" debuts at No. 11 on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart this week. That tally ranks the bestselling cuts on platforms like iTunes and Amazon, and this time around, that includes Lizzo's most recent offering. Luminate reports that in the past tracking period, "Still Bad" sold just under 2,700 copies. "Still Bad" may be new to the Digital Song Sales chart, but as mentioned, it's not actually very new as far as pop music goes. Lizzo's cut experiences a 286% gain in pure purchases from one frame to the next. Just days ago, it ended a tracking period with 700 sales — and the following stint, it adds about 2,000 to that sum. "Still Bad" experiences such a boom after Kelly Clarkson invited Lizzo onto her daytime talk show to perform the tune. The singers turned it into a duet earlier this month, but it's Lizzo who enjoys the spoils on the Billboard rankings, as Clarkson doesn't earn credit on the cut. "Still Bad" earns Lizzo her twelfth placement on the Digital Song Sales tally, and her first since 2023. In August of that year, "Pink," the song she wrote and recorded for the Barbie soundtrack, peaked at No. 22. "Still Bad" has already been present on one Billboard ranking for more than two months. This frame, it drops seven spaces to No. 37 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart in its tenth stay on that radio roster. The tune previously peaked at No. 21.

Kelly Clarkson and Natalie Portman react to wearing 'identical' red carpet looks: 'We went to the same store'
Great minds think alike: Kelly Clarkson and Natalie Portman are bonding over their almost identical red-carpet looks. In a preview clip from Tuesday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Grammy-winning host surprised the Star Wars alum with a side-by-side photo comparison of the time that they both wore 'the most identical outfit ever' at two separate MTV award ceremonies in 2002. 'When I was younger, we didn't have stylists,' Portman recalled prior to the photo reveal. 'You could kind of wear whatever you wanted. I would just be like, go to the store with my mom, pick something out. Now it's like a whole big to-do.' Clarkson then explained that she had some 'early red carpet photos' of the pair to showcase, before displaying two snapshots of her and Portman both wearing a white button-down shirt, necklace, blue jeans, and sandals. 'Oh my God!' Portman shouted, bursting into laughter as she stared at the two images. Clarkson cheekily declared, 'We went to the same store with our moms and got the same outfit.' The 'Stronger' singer explained that she was informed of their matching moment by a staff member on her talk show. 'I was like, 'We are almost wearing the most identical outfit ever,'' Clarkson said. 'It was a time, people! We're the same age. But yeah, I just found that so funny. Do you remember what were you doing that day?' Portman correctly identified that she wore the outfit to the MTV Movie Awards in June 2002. The actress presented the category for Best Female Performance alongside her Star Wars costar Ewan McGregor, which went to Nicole Kidman for her role in Baz Luhrmann's 2001 musical, Moulin Rouge. (Which also starred McGregor!) Meanwhile, Clarkson, who was still competing on American Idol at the time, wore her look just two months later at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2002. At the event, the Idol hopeful teamed up with fellow contestant Justin Guarini and the show's then-judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson to present the award for Best New Artist in a Video, which was received by Avril Lavigne for her rock banger, "Complicated." "I just thought that was pretty hilarious that we look identical,' Clarkson told Portman of their shared style. 'That's the one time I get to say I look like you.' Portman replied, "That's amazing." The Kelly Clarkson Show airs weekdays in syndication. Watch Clarkson and Portman bond over their looks in the clip above. Read the original article on Entertainment Weekly

Elizabeth Banks makes toilet plea to hotel guests after 'shocking' experiences as chambermaid
Elizabeth Banks used to remove "condoms and tampons" from toilets during her time as a "chambermaid". The 51-year-old actress has recalled her time taking on difficult jobs before finding success as an actress, and she recalled a period where she "cleaned toilets" to make a living. She told 'The Kelly Clarkson Show': "I started working really young. I've done everything. I was a waitress for a decade. I also was a chambermaid at a bed and breakfast." The 'Charlie's Angels' star took the opportunity to make a plea for any guests in the hospitality sector from someone who's been on the other side. She begged: "I just have some advice for people who stay in hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, whatever. "Please stop flushing things other than tepee down toilets. "Like the amount of condoms and tampons I had to dig out of toilets as a 17-year-old is shocking to me." However, Elizabeth conceded that the experience was character-building, and she feels like she's ready for anything. She added: "Kelly, I can go anywhere. It's not glamorous this life you lead. You end up going a lot of crazy places and I'm like, 'I've been worse.' " Jessica - who has kids Felix, 14, and Magnus, 12, with her husband Max Handelman - recently insisted her children have "no interest" in following in her footsteps as actors when it comes to their own working ambitions. She told PEOPLE magazine: "If my kids decide to get into acting, which they have currently no interest in, then I would be thrilled to ever do anything with them if they would deign to hang out with me. "It's unlikely. In fact, it would have to be a paying job for them to actually want to hang out with me." She also revealed one of her boys recently had a role in a school production, but wasn't impressed with the return he got for the work he put in. Speaking to E! News, she quipped: "My son was recently in a school play and he said, 'That was a lot of effort for flowers and some applause!' "
