La Familia Nightclub to host Summer Jam Block Party this summer
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — La Familia Nightclub will be hosting a Block Party later this summer.
The La Familia Summer Jam: A 2000s Block Party 'will throw it back to the golden era of hip hop' June 7 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Headlining the party area are three Atlanta legends: Gorilla Zoe, Lil Scrappy, and Yung Joe.
La Familia says that the event is all ages and will have a very nostalgic and lively vibe.

The event will feature street food vendors, live DJ sets, and a few surprises yet to be announced.
'We have food trucks out there. We got your local acts going on first, and we just see everybody see the whole time from beginning to end. It's a really good feeling and a summer feeling, you know, a good way to kick off the summer,' Aaron Galzalez with La Familia said.

The initiative was started by a group of volunteers back in 2015. Now, it has flourished into a summertime tradition. Native American dance group coming to Lewis and Clark center for free show
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A traditional Native American dance group is coming to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center this month. The Many Moccasins Dance Troupe will be performing at the Spirit of Discovery Stage at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 18. The event is free. The center said the performance is family-friendly and free for visitors. If you'd like to sit during the event, you're encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket.
