Jack White Responds to Trump Official Calling Him a 'Washed-Up, Has-Been Loser'
Jack White, February 2025 (John Nacion/Variety via Getty Images) Jack White is a longtime critic of President Donald J. Trump and his administration, and the musician has even taken legal action against the politician and his campaign. The latest chapter in the saga of White vs. White House came earlier this week when the White Stripes rocker insulted Trump's redecoration of the Oval Office, saying that it now looks like 'a vulgar, gold leafed and gaudy, professional wrestler's dressing room.' The barb elicited a response from Steven Cheung, the White House communications director, who told The Daily Beast that White is 'a washed up, has-been loser posting drivel on social media because he clearly has ample time on his hands due to his stalled career.' Cheung further defended his boss' aesthetic choices, telling the outlet: 'It's apparent he's been masquerading as a real artist, because he fails to appreciate, and quite frankly disrespects, the splendor and significance of the Oval Office inside of 'The People's House.'' The war of words continued yesterday (August 20), with White sharing a lengthy statement against Trump and his administration on Instagram. White criticized Trump's 'blatant fascist manipulation of government, his gestapo ICE tactics, his racist remarks about Latinos, Native Americans, etc. his ridiculous 'wall' construction, his attacks on the disabled, his attempted coup and mob insurrection and destruction of the sacred halls of congress,' and plenty more. He went on to use Cheung's words against Trump, writing that the president 'is masquerading as a human being,' and 'masquerading as a christian, as a leader, as a person with actual empathy.' Several artists—including Margo Price and Michigander's Jason Singer—have supported White in the comments on his post. 'You hit a fuckin' nerve 'cuz they don't put out statements this length for earthquakes and shootings,' Patton Oswalt wrote. 'Keep going.' Cat Power's Chan Marshall added, 'LOVE YOU JACK❤️🔥.' Tennis star Sachia Vickery defends having OnlyFans account: ‘Easiest money I've ever made'
Pro tennis player Sachia Vickery is drawing major attention both on the court and off as she competes in the U.S. Open 2025 qualifiers while defending her career on OnlyFans. During an Instagram Q&A amid her qualifier run in New York City, the 30-year-old Florida native, who is ranked No. 559, wrote, 'I'm very open-minded and I don't care what people think of me,' calling OnlyFans 'the easiest money I've ever made.' Vickery said she also has a newfound respect for fellow creators on the platform. 'I will never talk s*** about girls on OnlyFans ever again for the rest of my life,' she added, citing how overwhelmed she was by the revenue she made in just her first two days on the platform. Lindsay Lohan Makeup-Free Selfies, Discourse
Like many other celebrities who have been in the public eye for quite some time, Lindsay Lohan has long found herself at the center of public speculation around her appearance. Last year, several people — including an aesthetic doctor — guessed that Lindsay had gotten a facelift, among other cosmetic procedures, after photos of the 39-year-old went viral. Lindsay — and her publicist — ended up addressing the talk about her appearance during a chat with Elle a few months back. Lindsay's publicist said, 'The problem is…the second she looks any different, they assume she had her face lifted at 37 or 38, that she ripped apart this or that. It's so mean.' Lindsay agreed, replying, 'I'm like, when? With what time? Where?' Lindsay also noted that she has previously tried a microneedling treatment, though she found her skin to be too 'thin' for it. She said, 'My skin changed after having my son. It got really sensitive. That's what really made me change my whole routine and diet and everything. I did blood tests, and I was like, 'I want to know everything I'm allergic to.' So I cut everything out, and that's kind of when everything started to change for me.' Fast forward to yesterday, and Lindsay has showcased her makeup-free skin by sharing a couple of fresh-faced selfies on Instagram. 'Fresh face and ready for bed!' she wrote alongside the pics. Immediately, people had a lot to say in the comments. Some fans begged Lindsay to 'drop the skincare routine,' praising her makeup-free appearance: However, other users weren't so impressed, suggesting that Lindsay had undergone more cosmetic treatments than she has shared. Let us know what you think in the comments.
