Liam Gallagher threatens to quit social media after faking major announcement
Liam Gallagher has threatened to quit social media after backlash from fans for attempting to 'rile up' fans for 'craic'.
Liam, 53, found himself at the receiving end of vitriol from fans as he pulled at their heartstrings with a fake announcement.
'BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 6.30 am,'the Oasis singer announced at 6.20 this morning on X, leaving fans on tenterhooks as they waited to hear what the artist may have to tell his loyal followers.
However, when the time came, Liam left fans baffled as he simply announced: 'I WORK OUT'
'Gotta admit that was good craic gotta you all riled up to ras' he said less than 10 minutes after the flat response to his announcement.
Fans were less than impressed, with some concerned that the hotly anticipated Oasis reunion tour was about to be cancelled, or that he was suffering from a health issue, or perhaps he was announcing more tour dates for the fans who were unable to attend.
'What made you wake up and think i'm gonna cause absolute CHAOS today for no reason,' asked buckysvader on X.
By 7am he was feeling apologetic: 'If I caused any distress and upset anyone this morning I'm deeply sorry that wasn't my intention I thought it was a bit of fun I got it wrong please forgive me LG.'
45 minutes later he threatened to leave social media.
'Guys I think I'm gonna close my twitter account and think long and hard about my EXISTENCE this morning has been a real eye opener' More Trending
By quarter to ten he'd seemingly forgotten about the incident and was tweeting about the usage of the title Sir: 'Don't know what all the fuss is about receiving a knighthood and being called SIR all my teachers in school were called SIR and they were all massive C**TS dya get me bruv LG x'

This comes as the excitement for the Oasis reunion tour increases. The tour takes place 15 years after the band's acrimonious split in 2009 as brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher famously fell out and ended their friendship and band, dissing each other publically for years.
Starting in Cardiff in July, the Oasis Live 25 tour will conclude in Sao Paolo, Brazil, in November, with five sold-out Manchester dates pencilled in for mid-July.
With the big tour just a month away now, fans were delighted to learn more about the Oasis' setlist after an iconic song was heard in rehearsals.

Keanu Reeves is even a gentleman when straddled by another actor
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Keanu Reeves continued to be the most green flag man in Hollywood after his reaction to being straddled by another actor. The John Wick star, 60, has a reputation for being the kindest, most gentlemanly person in showbusiness, regularly going viral for his generous acts such as giving millions of dollars to charity, and taking the time to show his appreciation for film crew members. He's never embroiled in scandal, nor is he ever really seen in any bad mood – there's a reason he's been dubbed the internet's husband. And his glowing streak continues after he left fans 'dying' after his reaction to Broadway star Jonathan Groff straddling him at the Tony Awards. The Mindhunter star performed a medley of songs from Just In Time at the star-studded event, walking into the crowd. Keanu, who was sitting in the front row, found himself between Jonathan's legs as he stood on the Matrix star's armrests. But he didn't seem to mind at all, smiling away into the camera and holding his hands up in a horns sign. As Jonathan bent lower and lower while belting out the lyrics, Keanu jokingly appeared shocked before beaming away. It was an unusual reunion for the pair who both starred alongside each other in 2021's The Matrix: Resurrections, with Keanu reprising his iconic role as Neo and Jonathan appearing as Agent Smith. Fans have been quick to heap praise on Keanu and Jonathan, with many saying they 'don't know who is luckier' in this situation. 'Further proof Keanu is the best,' tattooedsiren wrote on Instagram. Mjms323 added: 'Keanu Reeves just got a face full of Jonathan Groff's ass and I'm not sure which one I'm more jealous of.' Cooper_holly said what many of us are thinking: 'Jonathan Groff flirting with and singing to Keanu Reeves wasn't something I had on my Tonys bingo card but I'm here for it.' Takarakanashi described the moment as their 'Roman Empire', while Thatssoannie_ said it will live in their mind rent-free for some time. More Trending 'Jonathan Groff climbing on Keanu Reeves and groping him on live tv happy pride month everyone,' MarcelinaRose_ wrote. Darnthatdave added: 'Jonathan Groff and Keanu Reeves on the Tonys will fuel fantasies for decades.' Keanu is set to make his Broadway debut alongside Bill and Ted co-star Alex Winter in Waiting for Godot, a show that follows 'two friends searching for meaning in an absurd world.' They sat alongside each other at the event, with Alex positioned as close as possible to the action between Keanu and Jonathan that is sending the internet wild. Got a story? Waronker hardly came from 'nowhere' either, with a pantheon of works under his name including participating on albums for celebrated Grammy-Award winning acts. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad What is Joey Waronker's drumming style like? Waronker has been described as someone who "makes it possible" for musicians to perform without 'showboating,' prioritising the collective sound and supporting the other musicians, rather than seeking the spotlight and allowing the music to breathe while performing. His work is noted for its "clear, focused stick sound" and "glassy crash tone," which suggests a precise and articulate approach to his instrument. His signature ride cymbal is designed for a "range of drumming styles and genres," further emphasizing his adaptability. One comment from a forum discussing his recent work with Oasis notes he is "a competent drummer," but some perceive him as "too soft to hard sound Oasis live." This suggests his subtlety might be perceived differently depending on the genre, reinforcing his nuanced approach rather than raw power. Referring to his drumming on Beck's Sea Change album, it's mentioned that the desired sound involved "not wacking the drums that hard... if you listen to those records, there is a laid back vibe about the drumming even though they are hammering at them, it's not with as much force and aggression." Peter Andre, 52, reveals downside to age gap relationship with wife Emily, 35
Peter Andre has defended the 16-year age gap in his relationship with wife Emily MacDonagh – but one incident that showed their generational gap still makes them laugh. The musician and TV star, 52, married doctor Emily, 35, in 2015, soon after welcoming children Amelia, 11, Theo, nine, and one-year-old Arabella. Peter also has two children, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, with former wife Katie Price. Peter and Emily have experienced some backlash against their 16-year age gap, which the I'm A Celebrity contestant defended in a new interview. In his column for New! magazine, Peter discussed Stephen Fry, 67, speaking about the age gap in his marriage with Elliott Spencer, 38, and how Peter and Emily's age difference 'works' for them. 'It all depends on the relationship, how the partners are with each other, and how they view things, I think. There's a 16-year gap between me and Emily, and it really works for us,' he wrote. However, he did muse over one incident where their generational gap was very noticeable. 'There's one thing we do laugh about, though… We were at the Pride of Britain awards one year and Jon Bon Jovi came over to chat. I've met him many times over the years and he's a lovely person,' he continued. After the introduction, Peter was shocked to discover Emily had no idea who the legendary rock star was, asking her husband 'What's a Bon Jovi?' 'We laughed about that a lot afterwards! It's in those moments we may realise the age gap – usually with music and films – but in general, we love the same things. I think it's what works for you in a relationship. Who are we to judge?' he said. Peter, who is currently on screens in controversial thriller comedy Jafaican, met Emily in 2012, with them tying the knot three years later. He previously discussed not opting for a pre-nuptial agreement before tying the knot, saying: 'I think it does depend on upbringing. So some cultures think that you should always keep your own money, some think you should all be together. 'But as you grow older, you start to figure it out yourself. I know with Emily at the start I had different views to what I've got now. I mean, we don't have a prenup. We've got children together.' More Trending Last year, Peter said he and Emily were 'pretty sure' Arabella would be their last child, with the singer speaking out numerous times about the prospect of having a vasectomy. 'I appeared on Loose Women last week to promote the Frankie Valli tour and one of the topics we discussed is whether a man should get a vasectomy,' he wrote back in February. 'Having children is a big decision. We frequently expect the woman to have to find a way and take measures not to become pregnant, but actually I realise that us men have a responsibility too. 'The problem is, like many, I'm a bit scared of having that kind of procedure. I know, call me a wimp. Who knows? Never say never, I guess.' Got a story?
