Rebel Wilson Shares Wife Ramona Agruma's Reaction to Learning Actress Had a Baby on the Way 3 Months After They Started Dating
On the latest episode of Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, the Pitch Perfect alum, 45, told host Kelly Ripa that she planned to have a baby before meeting her now-wife Ramona Agruma. Wilson, who is the mother of daughter Royce, 2, admitted she had to tell Arguma very early into their relationship that her surrogate was expecting and shared Agruma's reaction to the news.
"I'd already been planning to have a baby and I'd had an an embryo and was already planning to have a baby by a surrogate. So very, very, very early in dating, like three months into dating Ramona, I had to tell her, so I have a surrogate and it turns out the surrogate's pregnant," she recalled, noting it was a "huge thing" to say so early into a relationship.
"Ramona just turned to me, was sitting at my kitchen table and she said, 'I love you and I'm gonna love your child just as much,' " she continued. "I was so shocked. It's like she didn't even think about it. She just went, 'Oh, that's amazing news.'"

The How to Be Single actress told Ripa that her wife, whom she tied the knot with in September 2024, has been the "best mother" to her little one.
"She has been the best mother," Wilson said, referring to her wife. "She's way better than me. She's the most kind, caring, nurturing, and I was so lucky,"
The proud mom also shared that she thinks her relationship with Agruma was "kind of fate," saying that she couldn't have imagined welcoming her child any other way.
"At one point, she wasn't gonna be in the delivery room and then the surrogate's like, 'No, bring her in. I want her there,' " she continued. "She was there with me at the very first second when Royce slid out of the surrogate, and we were both there holding our little hands, and I couldn't imagine it any other way now. It was kind of fate."

In an interview with PEOPLE for a March 2024 cover story, the comedian and author of Rebel Rising: A Memoir shared one of the things she wasn't prepared for after she welcomed her daughter Royce.
"The surprising thing is that you never just walk out of the house and not have plans," Wilson told PEOPLE. "You can't just go, 'I feel like going to the movie cinema,' and just walk out of the house. No, no, no."
"You have to plan what's happening with the baby," she continued. "Is the baby coming with you? Have the baby's meals been prepped? You've got to communicate about the baby's schedule, when her nap time is, all the things."

They don't let you get away with phoning it in, because they'll eat you alive," he says. "That's what a good support system does." 'As I was trying to hide my hair loss, the audience was bringing it to light," he continues. "I saw their signs that said 'The bald John Cena.' They pushed me into going to see what my options were and actually do some homework to learn about scalp health, hair health, follicle health. I now have a routine: red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, conditioner and I also got a hair transplant." He's quick to clarify he doesn't consider anything the fans did as "bullying." "Just like a good friend, when you have something in your teeth, they pull you aside and are like, 'You have something in your teeth,' " he says. Cena loves his new look but only has one regret: "I hate the fact that if there wasn't so much shame around it, I'd have gotten it done 10 years ago," he says. "I thought I was alone, but seven or eight out of 10 [men] suffer from thinning or baldness." He pauses to remark how 'fired up' he gets about the topic. "They don't do anything except move your hair, one by one, from one area to another. It's my hair and I'm not using this stuff [on the side] and I'd like to put it up [on the top]," he says. "If somebody's going to sweat me for that, I don't think there's any shame in that. It completely changed the course of my life.' After his surgery in November, he notes there was a tough period when progress was slow to show. "I came back for the [WWE] retirement tour starting in January — these are the deets you guys don't know — there's what's called a dormant phase, where the little hair [that was left] falls asleep and the new hair falls asleep. So boy, do you get bald," he says. "And January, February, early March was my dormant phase. And boy, did [the fans] let me have it. So every day I knew I went out there with so much more of a bald spot. It was not easy." He still has about five or six months in his growth cycle until he'll fully praise his doctor publicly, but he's passionate about sharing his story in the hopes that it helps others. "There's definitely a lot of folks out there that are wearing that blanket of shame where, man, maybe you don't want to shave your head. And if this resonates with anybody out there and they're like, 'Man, I'd like to research that too,' then cool. Maybe we have curbed the shame and the guilt about somebody wanting to correct themselves." He's also appreciative his new look will give him more range as an actor. "A different hairstyle can identify a part that can get me more work, do the thing I love to do," he says. "So I can continue to follow my passion just by moving [my hair] up here." He's equally passionate about sun safety — he revealed his past skin cancer diagnosis in March and recently had his third spot removed. 'I know, eventually, we're all going to close our book, but if a little bit of sunscreen and a little bit of minoxidil, some vitamins, is going to keep me feeling pretty good and keep my health — those are good things,' he says. 'I love life, and I got love in my life, and I want to keep all that stuff.' The love in his life these days includes wife Shay Shariatzadeh, an engineer he met while watching the Super Bowl in Vancouver in 2019. 'My health and my dedication to my partner are the tip of my spear in life right now," he says. Fans can still see Cena hitting the WWE ring ahead of his retirement by the end of the year. 'TMNT' Co-Creator Reveals Which Big-Name Actor Told Him He'd Love to Play Casey Jones in a Live-Action Sequel (Exclusive)

Eastman, 63, recently sat down with PEOPLE ahead of the film's 35th anniversary to discuss the movie's legacy — as well as where the franchise might go next — and he shared that actor Joe Manganiello has expressed interest in playing the iconic masked vigilante in a potential future movie installment. The creative powerhouse said he believes Manganiello, 48, would be particularly perfect for a specific potential TMNT project set decades in the future from when the original 1990 movie took place, noting that the concept is based on his 2022 TMNT comic, The Last Ronin. 'I first met him [when] he approached me online because he's a huge Turtle fan, and he's a huge fan of the Turtles role-playing games,' Eastman recalls of Manganiello. 'So we visited a few times and we keep in touch. He sends me pictures of bubbles and just different stuff that he's doing workwise," Eastman continues. "But when they talked about doing a new Turtles live-action movie, he said, 'I want to be Casey Jones in the revision of that.' He sent me a couple of pictures. And he would be [perfect] agewise. He's perfect. He'd be perfect for it.' Eastman also said that he would ideally love actress Judith Hoag, 62, to reprise her role as April O'Neil in a potential new film, as she would be the 'absolutely perfect' age for the story. While Eastman expressed excitement about the prospect of potentially revisiting the original TMNT live-action world, he also acknowledged that nothing is certain given the precarious nature of the industry. 'There's been a bunch of discussion between different Hollywood producers and Paramount and certainly fans about doing it as a live-action movie. It's in progress. The success of the original 1990 film inspired decades of beloved content, including two sequels and an animated series. It also paved the way for a 2014 reboot film and a 2016 sequel, as well as a number of animated films — the most recent of which was released in 2023 and was co-written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. As to why the Turtles franchise continues to resonate with audiences? Eastman said it's because everyone can see themselves in at least one of the characters, and that the core of all Turtles stories comes down to one thing: family. 'It's about family as the center of the heart and soul of every one of the stories," he says. "And from now going on 40 years, every iteration has included the same elements. Four turtles, Splinter, April, Casey, and it's just this wonderful family aspect.' The original 1990 TMNT will soon be re-released in theaters nationwide in celebration of the film's 35th anniversary, and Eastman strongly encourages fans old and new to go see it. 'They [the fans] should definitely go see the movie again, because that movie is my all-time favorite version of the turtles ever — from the cartoons and any other movies that've been done since," he tells PEOPLE.
