Plane passenger sticks her smelly feet through seat gap in front
A plane passenger has been filmed horrifying fellow travellers by sticking her feet through the seat gap in front of her, and onto the passenger in front.
Footage shows the woman, wearing skin-toned stockings, sleeping mid-takeoff with her feet positioned behind the armrest of the female passenger seated by the window in front.
The filmer, who took the vision on June 29, said a strong odour was lingering nearby which is what prompted her to look back and discover the woman's feet intruding her space. The flight was from Qingdao to Beijing with Air China.
'I was sleeping and was woken up by the smell. I couldn't call a flight attendant immediately because it was during departure, but I pressed the call button mid-flight,' she said.
'I told them what was happening, and they gave her a pair of slippers. However, for the remaining 30 minutes of the flight, she kept pushing my chair with her knees. It was a very uncomfortable flight.'
It's not the first time a passenger has stripped off their shoes on a flight, without giving any consideration to others in the cabin.
Last year, a pair of newlyweds were recently gobsmacked by a fellow passenger's smelly feet while enjoying their 10-hour 'premium' flight to the Maldives.
Hannah Charlotte Mol, from the UK, shared a clip of her airport journey, which has attracted more than 269,000 views since it was uploaded to TikTok this week.
The couple arrived early to check in, itching to board their long-awaited flight to celebrate tying the knot.
Hannah oohhed and aahhed over the airline's amenities, including extensive leg room, orange juice and a free pillow, blanket and vanity case.
But the newlyweds were appalled when they caught a whiff of a woman's feet across the aisle. Much to their dismay, she had taken her shoes off for ultimate relaxation.
'This lady over here has just taken her shoes off. We've not even taken off yet,' Hannah said in the clip. 'And her feet are so smelly. It smells so bad. We've got 10 hours.'
Throughout the video, the honeymooners show off the aeroplane goodies and luxe meals they received sitting in premium economy.
'These are our seats. We've got 'premium economy,' which we were so excited about. There's so much leg room!' Hannah gushed.
Some commenters, however, sniffed at their choice of seating, asking why they didn't splurge on first class for their once-in-a-lifetime trip.
'Congratulations to you both, may you both have a happy life together and make many memories that you can treasure for a lifetime,' someone applauded.
'Oh man. Smelly feet is a no-no,' said another sympathetic user, stating the obvious.

Sami Sheen ‘almost got sex-trafficked' while spending time with a friend
Sami Sheen has claimed she 'almost got sex-trafficked' while spending time with a friend. The 21-year-old daughter of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, who is an OnlyFans content creator, recounted the incident in a TikTok video. She said: 'The second I saw this man I had the worst feeling in my stomach, like get the f*** away from me right now.' Sami added the incident took place late on Monday evening while she and a friend were taking photos in a restaurant parking lot after midnight. She said a man approached them asking for money – adding: 'We were at this restaurant pretty late. We didn't leave until midnight and we were outside taking photos in the parking lot, we were there for five minutes. 'Out of nowhere, this man came up to us asking for money. I said, 'Sorry, I don't have any cash on me.'' Sami said the man became 'persistent' despite her response. 'I'm like, 'Sorry, no,' and he goes, 'OK have a good night,'' she continued. But she claimed a second man immediately approached them after the first walked away. 'He starts to reach into his back pocket and I reach into my purse and pull out my pepper spray,' Sami said – adding: 'I open that b**** and he saw that and he started to pull a card out.' Sami said she and her friend ran to their car and locked themselves inside. The influencer added she later reviewed photos they had taken and noticed the man had been 'watching us the whole time'. She said: 'Even if it was harmless, it's better to be safe than sorry even though I don't think he had good intentions at all.' Sami urged her followers to 'trust your gut' and said: 'I'm usually very aware of my surroundings and I didn't notice this man.' Her story emerged as her mother Denise Richards, 54, was photographed with what appeared to be a black eye, days after a confrontation with her estranged husband Aaron Phypers, 52. Aaron filed for divorce from Denise on 7 July following what was described as an explosive argument on the Fourth of July. Denise, best known for films such as Wild Things, was granted a temporary restraining order against Aaron after accusing him of physical abuse. Aaron has denied the allegations and accused Denise of being addicted to Vicodin and alcohol. He also alleged Denise had an affair with her Special Forces: World's Toughest Test co-star Rudy Reyes, 53.

Instagram Reposts launches in new app upgrade
Almost 15 years after launching, social media giant Instagram has taken pages out of TikTok and Snapchat's books — adding three new features to their app. The changes were announced by parent company Meta on Wednesday, with roll-outs for the new features within Australia happening on Thursday. The new features have Aussies talking, with Instagram trending as a top Google search in the country throughout Wednesday and Thursday — so what are the new features, and how do they work? Instagram Reposts The new Repost feature allows users to share content in their feed - with a tab on their profile letting them see everything they've reposted. Credit: Meta The biggest change that Australians have seen to their Instagram feeds allows users to share public reels and feed posts with their followers – with the app following TikTok's lead and branding the function 'reposts.' The Meta team behind the update explained friends and followers can see any repost made, with any shared content crediting the original creator. 'Reposts will be recommended to your friends and followers in their feeds, and they'll also be in a separate tab on your profile, so you can always go back to revisit your reposts,' the Meta team explained. Users also have the option of adding personal notes to reposts by typing a message in the thought bubble that appears. New 'Friends' tab in Reels Users can choose to watch only Reels friends have made or interacted with. Credit: Meta Following the success of short-form video content, Instagram has also updated their Reels section. A new 'Friends' tab has appeared on Instagram's Reels page, allowing users to view videos that friends have like, reposted, commented on, and created. 'Friends will help you see which reels the people you care about most are creating and engaging with,' Meta said in relation to the new tab. Officials at the app have also confirmed they are working to upgrade features of the Friends tab over the next couple of weeks, allowing users the ability to hide content they've liked and commented from appearing in this section. Instagram Maps The new Maps feature lets users see what friends are nearby and view content within their area. Credit: Meta A new-US exclusive feature on the app has caused waves online — allowing users to share their location with others in real time, letting them to see content posted nearby from friends and other creators. Similar to the map feature on Snapchat, users are given the option to opt out of location-sharing but will still be able to view the map and people who have chosen to share. The maps feature also includes a parental supervision update, allowing parents to receive notifications if their teen has shared their location and allowing them to control the feature's availability. While this feature has not hit Australian's accounts yet, the Meta team behind the update promises Maps will have 'global availability very soon.'
