Born out of a Brazilian market stall in 1997 by two friends, Kátia Barros and Marcello Bastos, Farm Rio's famous prints are a love letter to Rio's de Janeiro's vibrant sun-kissed style.
Loved by the likes of Selena Gomez and Priyanka Chopra the brand has infiltrated the UK and most recently made its way into Selfridges.
However, the designs do come with a price tag with dresses often retailing for hundreds of pounds.
If you love the style, but don't have the budget then the high street is full of alternative options to give you the same look.
So, whether you are heading to Copacabana Beach or just popping to Croydon for a coffee this summer the fashion team are here to show you how you can get the Farm Rio look for not as much buck.

My obsession with Farm Rio knows no bounds but unfortunately my budget doesn't always stretch that far, not even on Vinted.
In the summer I always become obsessed with colours and prints. I start dreaming of holidays from May onwards and can't stop browsing the Farm Rio website.
Luckily the high street is all over this trend with prices to suit every budget.
I have chosen this gorgeous mid-price range co-ord from Reiss.
The lily and lemon print makes me think of soaking up the sunshine on a terrace, drinking a G&T while reading a new best-seller. Total bliss.

I'm a big fan of summer dressing, and Farm Rio always gets it right, though their prices are a bit out of reach for me.
Thankfully, the high street is full of budget-friendly, boho-inspired pieces that look just as good.
This printed dress from Forever New is available in a midi and mini length and looks like it could be designer.
The pattern is stunning and super detailed and I'm obsessed with the red bow straps.
Plus it's super versatile, you could style it over a white baby tee with sandals for a daytime look or add gold wedges like I have for an evening on holiday.
I finished the outfit with a stack of colourful bangles and a pearl bag from Zara.
All of their pieces are fun, bright and just ooze holiday and hot weather style - what's not to love, aye?

Despite having a mostly neutral wardrobe, I do love Farm Rio.
My personal style does tend to steer away from over the top, statement frocks but that doesn't mean I can't channel the brand.
Punchy colour and tropical prints are at the heart of Farm Rio and this shorts and cardi combination embodies that.
This cardigan from Never Fully Dressed, who have heaps of looks similar to Farm Rio, is more me.
Holiday inspired detailing I can wear on cool summer evenings and I'm in love with this bright green shade.
Topped off with a lot of texture, like this amazing bag from Reserved and shoes from Mango.
Finish with gold jewellery and my go-to cat-eye sunglasses and get me to Rio.

Summer is my favourite season to dress for and this kind of style just screams holiday.
The colours, the prints, all the accessories, it's such a fun style to play around with.
River Island is smashing its summer looks currently and its new range with Atlas is really hitting the spot.
I'm obsessed with this asymmetric dress from the collection, the print is so vibrant and fun.
Paired with some sun jewellery, a pair of bright heels and a raffia bag - now all I need to do is book another holiday.

Danny Dyer and Rivals co-star reunite as they land new role ahead of season 2

EastEnders actor Danny Dyer is set to star in a brand new ITV game show alongside a very familiar Rivals co-star Danny Dyer has landed a new ITV game show with one of his Rivals co-stars. ‌ The former EastEnders star left fans gobsmacked with his performance in the Disney+ drama, which is set to return for its second series next year. ‌ The saucy series, based on Jilly Cooper's novel, charts the rivalry between David Tennant's Rupert Campbell-Black and Aidan Turner's Tony Baddingham at a telly station in the Cotswolds. ‌ In the role of endearing tech whizz Freddie Jones, who contemplates having an affair with Katherine Parkinson's Lizzie Vereker, Danny bagged the Best Supporting Actor gong at the Royal Television Society Programme Awards earlier this year. The star-studded cast also includes Alex Hassell from His Dark Materials, Victoria Smurfit from Once Upon A Time, Bella Maclean from Sex Education, and Luke Pasqualino from Skins, reports the Manchester Evening News. One face that fans were thrilled to see in the series was Emily Atack, who shot to fame on The Inbetweeners, playing aspiring presenter Sarah Stratton. Following her stint on the Channel 4 sitcom, the former I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here runner-up had primarily focused on theatre and panel shows. However, it was recently confirmed that Danny and Emily are poised to host a new game show titled Nobody's Fool. The strategic reality quiz, set to broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX in 2026, is billed as 'a unique reality event brimming with drama and deception where the fate of the contestants isn't decided by how smart they are, but how smart their fellow contestants reckon they are'. ‌ Ten contestants from across the UK will be selected to stay in a unique and mischievous Smart House, where they compete in challenges to convince others that they are more intelligent than they may actually be. To add to the group prize pot, the contestants will take part in daily individual quizzes. However, only the contestants themselves will know how well they have done, and they will decide what information to share with their competitors. ‌ An ITV spokesperson said: "Across the series, the players must determine who is the weakest amongst them and eliminate them. As each of the contestants sets out to prove their worth and value to the rest of the group, can the players suss out who is a genuine asset and who is simply faking in a bid to stay in the game?" "The show aims to exploit preconceived notions about intelligence, playing on stereotypes and snap judgments to create a cast of characters who will keep viewers guessing." ‌ Speaking of the series, Danny noted: "This is a blinder of a game show and unlike anything I've seen before. Emily and I had a brilliant time making it, and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end." Emily added "It's so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can't wait for everyone to watch, it's an absolute must see." Sue Murphy, ITV's Director of Factual Entertainment, and Kate Teckman, Head of Development and Commissioning Editor at ITV, labelled Nobody's Fool as an 'innovative reality/quiz crossover show'. "Danny and Emily are the perfect pairing to host this game of surprise and prejudice, that will no doubt have audiences on the edge of their seats," they hinted. The brand new series will air on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player next year (2026).

Two Hollywood A-listers join Rivals cast for second series

Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett join the cast as Emily Atack says she loved playing sexy Sarah Stratton: 'I am her. I'm a flawed woman' When the adaptation of Jilly Cooper's bonkbuster Rivals hit screens last year, it quickly became Disney's best performing TV drama. Now Rupert Everett and Hayley Attwell are to join the cast for the much-anticipated second series, playing lead character Rupert Campbell Black's former showjumping boss and his bitter ex-wife - who are now married to each other. ‌ Atwell, best known for her roles in the Marvel and Mission Impossible films, will be playing Helen Gordon, mother of Rupert's two children, Marcus and Tabitha - who will also appear this time around. ‌ Everett, who starred alongside Julia Roberts in My Best Friend's Wedding, takes on the role of her husband Malise Gordon, Campbell Black's former show-jumping coach and mentor. ‌ In Cooper's original story Helen was treated badly by her ex-husband and remains very bitter towards him after their divorce. She is now married to the former chef d'équipe of the British showjumping team, Malise. Speaking in a session at the Edinburgh TV Festival yesterday where the castings were announced, Emily Atack joked that her character Sarah Stratton, the regularly unfaithful wife of an MP, had not been much of a stretch. 'I had to dig real deep,' she quipped. But the actress, who found fame with hit series The Inbetweeners, said she had no qualms about playing a flawed temptress.. 'I've been typecast my whole life and I've loved every minute," she declared. " I'll carry on playing these sexy women for as long as I can.' Emily said that shooting the infamous naked tennis scene alongside Alex Hassell as Rupert had been great fun. Alex said that many discussions had taken place over whether or not he should wear a prosthetic over his privates for the scene, but in the end he'd decided to go without. ‌ Emily declared that she had had a bit of help for that particular scene. 'I had a stick on muff," she laughed. "A murkin, it's called. A proper 80s bush - I felt like I had furry knickers on. It's so jarring seeing yourself like that.' But the actress said she'd soon got used to it. 'I didn't want to put my clothes back on! I did a couple of cartwheels.' Emily, 35, said part of the appeal of playing Sarah, was that while she is flawed, she also also has vulnerabilities that were recognised. 'These types of women are never written with nuance,' she said. 'I am her, I am a flawed woman, I've made terrible decisions in my love life - so I wasn't scared to identify with her. Her bad behaviour isn't being celebrated, but it's being understood.' ‌ Bella McClean, whose character Taggie O'Hara found love with Rupert in the final episode of series one, revealed she was so pleased with her audition as Taggie - and chemistry with Alex - that she walked straight into a wall afterwards. The actress she had enjoyed playing a character who was so wholesome and good, it had made her take a look at her own life and decisions. She loved the long, simmering build-up to the romance between Taggie and Rupert, saying: 'They see though all the crap and just adore each other for who they are,' she explained. 'It's about their love.' ‌ The show's creator Dominic Treadwell-Collins said that Jilly Cooper had told him early on how she expected the male heroes of her 1980s books to behave. He said: 'She told me 'my men don't cry'. My men are macho.' Dominic added: 'We are utterly thrilled to have Hayley and Rupert join us to play Jilly Cooper's legendary characters Helen and Malise Gordon. Alongside our other new wonderful actors and truly brilliant returning cast, Rivals series two absolutely showcases the best of British and Irish talent. We can't wait for everyone to see what's next for the residents of Rutshire.' Disney boss Lee Mason said he was also thrilled that Everett and Atwell were joining the cast. 'They are a perfect match for the world of Rutshire, so lovingly created by Dame Jilly and the team at Happy Prince.' ‌ Rivals is filming in the UK until February and is expected to return, for an extended season of twelve episodes, later in 2026. Set against the backdrop of the Cotswolds countryside and the glamorous, high-stakes world of 1980s British television, the second run will see the return of the all-star cast including Danny Dyer, Katherine Parkinson, Aidan Turner and David Tennant. Next time around viewers will find that many careers, marriages and reputations hang in the balance as personal and professional lives collide in a world where secrets can't stay hidden for long.

Peter Andre's wife Emily 'hurt by Katie Price's disgusting swipe at her children

Peter Andre's wife Emily has been left 'hurt' after her husband's ex Katie Price brutally labelled her children 'irrelevant'. After meeting on I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2004, Peter and Katie got together and went on to welcome son Junior, 20, and daughter Princess, 18. They later divorced in 2009, with Peter then beginning a relationship with Doctor Emily MacDonagh, who is 16 years his junior. In the years since they've had three children together – Amelia, 11, Theo, 8, and Arabella, 1. The couple have chosen to keep their children out of the spotlight, keeping their faces obscured or completely covered in photographs shared online. However, this week a video released by another of Katie's ex's – Alex Reid- showed the former glamour model making a dig at Peter and Emily's children. In the video, Katie, 47, referenced Peter's, 52, youngest children, labelling them 'irrelevant' in front of her then then 13-year-old daughter Princess. The video, believed to have been filmed in 2020, sees Katie telling her daughter: 'Your dad is going to have to pay the school fees because of my bankruptcy. Does he moan about it? What does Emily say? 'It's money that could be spent on her and her kids. 'They're not going private, are they, they're irrelevant. No one even knows who they are.' After hearing about the dig made about her children, Dr Emily, 36, was reportedly left taken aback by the remark. 'Of course, the focus has been on the fact Katie is counting cash while claiming to be bankrupt, but Pete has been left horrified by what she said about his family in front of Princess,' a source told The Sun. 'She would only have been about 13 then – and her mum was talking like that about her own brother and sisters. It's disgusting. 'Emily is stunned that anyone could speak about children like that. It's a new low. The family don't want Princess pulled into anymore of her mum's drama.' They added: 'For someone who claims to want a peaceful life without any feuds, Katie isn't leading by example.' The source also claimed that Dr Emily had been left 'really hurt'. 'She's always been classy and taken the high road, but her protective, motherly instincts have taken over and she's adamant she won't let her kids be dragged down by Pete's ex.' In 2023 Peter revealed it was his wife's decision to keep their children out of the limelight. 'I've got to be honest, this was an Emily decision, and I respect that,' he said on the Netmums podcast. 'Obviously the other two, from very young they were… we did what a lot of parent love to do. You get excited and you want to show your kid riding his bike or you want to show this awesome photo of your kids because, for me, you're sharing something joyous.' 'But when we had Millie and Theo, [Emily] said 'I don't want that', I had to respect that, and I understood her reasonings for it. She's right, she doesn't want them at school to be recognised. She just wants them to be what she says is normal and I respect that.' Earlier this week Peter took aim at his ex – posting a lengthy statement on social media following comments about his and Katie's children's welfare. 'For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.' He then went on to write that he wanted to 'set the record straight' and revealed that Junior and Princess came into his care in 2018 and remained with him until they reached adulthood. 'In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. More Trending 'In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases, found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. 'Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.' Katie later shared a statement of her own, sharing that she had 'allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol' and was 'at times, not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness'.
