Fans are about to find out as the frontman delivers Shotgun Karaoke Vol. II, the oft-requested sequel to his stripped back LP from 2013. The concept remains the same: 'beloved songs reduced to their essential elements, performed live with nothing but Dempsey's voice and acoustic guitar'. The eclectic list includes Cher's If I Could Turn Back Time, Don Henley's Boys Of Summer, and R.E.M.'s anthem Losing My Religion. 'There are mistakes and imperfections, and they belong there just like they belong at a karaoke night,' Dempsey says.
