Billie Eilish's Global Smash Surges And Becomes A Top 40 Win Again

'Birds of a Feather' continues to dominate for Billie Eilish in the U.K., ranking in the top 40 ... More across four charts, as it returns to that region on several lists. 'Birds of a Feather,' taken from Billie Eilish's album Hit Me Hard and Soft, isn't currently the singer's highest-ranking track on the most important songs chart in the United Kingdom, but it's outperforming her other releases in many ways. As it approaches its first birthday, the single continues to gain ground on several notable rankings, once again asserting itself as an undeniable smash.
This week, 'Birds of a Feather' appears on four U.K.-based rankings. That's a feat that's unmatched by either of Eilish's two other currently-charting tracks. Both 'Wildflower,' a newly-selected single from Hit Me Hard and Soft, and 'Guess,' her collaboration with Charli XCX are only present on two lists each. That makes 'Birds of a Feather' Eilish's most visible win in the country at the moment, even if it's not leading on every individual tally.
It's not just the number of charts that's notable for the tune, but also the positioning. 'Birds of a Feather' lands inside the top 40 on every U.K. chart it reaches.
The track returns to that important region on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, where it settles at No. 40. The composition holds steady at No. 14 on the Official Streaming list.
Meanwhile, on the more all-encompassing Official Singles ranking, which factors in sales and streaming to rank the most-consumed songs in the U.K., the track dips just slightly. It falls from No. 31 to No. 37 this frame.
Among Eilish's three charting tracks, only her collaboration with Charli ranks higher on the Official Singles chart. That tune slides from No. 26 to No. 33, putting it ahead of 'Birds of a Feather' by a few spaces.
On the Official Streaming chart, the story is a bit different. The Charli collab sinks from No. 49 to No. 63, making it Eilish's lowest-performing hit on that specific list.
'Wildflower,' which was recently tapped as the next –and likely last – single from Hit Me Hard and Soft, continues to lose ground. The track drops from No. 75 to No. 82 on the Official Singles chart. It also falls a few slots to No. 48 on the streaming list.
Of all the tracks from Hit Me Hard and Soft, 'Birds of a Feather' has proved to be the biggest global success. The song has now spent 44 weeks on each of the four U.K. rankings it currently can be found on, far outpacing both 'Wildflower' and the Charli duet. The latter, notably, doesn't even appear on Hit Me Hard and Soft, but instead is featured on the electronic pop musician's Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat.
While 'Birds of a Feather' never reached No. 1 on the Official Singles chart — it peaked at No. 2 — it did manage to climb all the way to the top of the Official Singles Sales list, once standing as the bestselling song in the country.

Billie Eilish Charts Multiple Bestsellers Thanks To The Vinyl Surge

Billie Eilish is one of several musicians fueling the continued surge in vinyl sales around the world, a trend that has now been growing for years. The young singer-songwriter's fans have demonstrated time and time again that they love purchasing her music, especially on wax. This week in the U.K., Eilish once again showcases her popularity on the format, as multiple projects return to the same tally simultaneously, giving her several bestselling vinyl titles. Eilish fills two spots on the Official Vinyl Albums chart in the U.K. this week. Both of her current wins didn't appear on the tally — which ranks the bestselling full-lengths and EPs on wax in the country — just days ago, but both have previously spent time on this roster. The highest of Eilish's two wins is Hit Me Hard and Soft (Isolated Vocals), an a cappella version of her full-length Hit Me Hard and Soft. The project reenters the tally at No. 13. Originally shared for Record Store Day 2024, the album recently became widely available and now appears on this ranking for just the second time ever. As it reappears, it reaches a new all-time high. Eilish's sophomore full-length Happier Than Ever is also a vinyl bestseller once more. This frame, in its seventeenth turn on the list, the rock-leaning project breaks back in at No. 37. Thanks to its widespread availability, Hit Me Hard and Soft (Isolated Vocals) returns to multiple tallies this week, not just the Official Vinyl Albums chart. The set earns a second stay on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums lists as well, reappearing inside the top 40 and missing its previously set high point by just a space or two. Happier Than Ever, meanwhile, can be found on four other rosters, gaining ground on each of them. The singer's second full-length not only pushes north on multiple sales rankings, but also rises on the Official Albums Streaming chart, which shows that consumption of the music is growing via both purchases and streaming. Eilish's other two full-length projects — When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Hit Me Hard and Soft — both find space on four U.K.-based rosters. However, they experience different trajectories than the pair of vinyl bestsellers. Hit Me Hard and Soft declines on all four charts, while her debut is gaining ground on the same quartet of lists.

Bold Reuse, a leading reuse service provider, is supporting the tour by managing all reusable cup operations at participating venues. "We're so excited about this activation because it's the perfect combination of mission alignment and funding for operational changes. We're grateful for Ocean Conservancy's collaboration and openness to fund tangible solutions that help facilities implement sustainable change, while also elevating their mission.
