What Happened Today on Bold and the Beautiful July 8: Three Shots Rang Out
Luna (Lisa Yamada) lucked out and won her tussle against her grandma. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) fell to the ground wounded by rogue bullet – thankfully, only her foot was injured. Once Sheila collapsed, Luna raised her gun and pointed it straight at Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Despite staring down the barrel, Steffy jumped into action to take care of the She-Devil and grab her phone to call for help. A move that angered Luna. She ordered Steffy to put down the cell, or else!

Luna began ranting and rambling about Steffy ruining her life. All she wants is to be with Finn (Tanner Novlan) but Steffy is stopping him from being near her. She begged Steffy to give her even a teeny tiny bit of access to her dad, despite her crimes and chaos. Steffy pointed out the gun in her hand at that very minute. Steffy made it clear Luna was going to prison for a long time and swore that Luna would never see Finn again. That was enough to have Luna ready to pull the trigger.
All the while, Liam (Scott Clifton) called Hope (Annika Noelle) to check in and she expressed her love for him (as a friend, of course) and told him she never wanted to lose him. He promised he's not going anywhere. At least not anytime soon. They then cemented plans for Liam to roller skate with their daughter the next day before getting off the phone.
Hope hung up as Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) came into the design room. She melted into his arms and cried about Liam's impending death. Carter held her while the tears flowed. Hope is grateful for her time having Liam in her life but they are losing him way too soon. Hope mourned the future Liam isn't going to get while Carter reminded her that's not what Liam wants. He wants them all to hold onto the good memories instead of all the what-ifs.

Meanwhile, Finn was at the hospital talking through his feelings with Li (Naomi Matsuda). He couldn't stop wondering how his daughter would have turned out had he been given the chance to be her dad and help raise her. But, alas, what's done is done and his daughter is way too far gone. The only hope they had was that her life after Los Angeles would be good for her. With that, Li left to see a patient and Finn texted Steffy. He then finally decided to listen to Sheila's most recent message.
Finn attempted to call her back but obviously, Sheila wasn't going to answer. No sooner did he hang up, though, Liam called and the men decided that if Sheila was worried about Luna this was bad. Very bad. They decided Liam would run up to the Beach House to check on Steffy and make sure all was well.
Liam walked in to see Steffy staring down the barrel of Luna's gun and immediately jumped into action. He wrestled with Luna and once again, the gun went off. And, once again, it wasn't Luna who suffered the consequences of her actions. Unlike Sheila, though, Liam was gravely injured with a shot to the chest. That didn't stop him from fighting back, though. Sheila created a distraction for a hot second and Liam snatched the gun out of Luna's hands and pointed it straight at her. Unlike Luna, though, he didn't hesitate to fire the shot. 'I'm a dead man anyway,' he said seconds before taking Luna out.
Finn arrived mere seconds after Liam took the shot. The good doctor looked around the room at his wounded mother, his unconscious and bleeding long-lost daughter, and his fatally injured friend. He ran to save Liam while Steffy called 9-1-1 for help.

Mac Miller Posthumously Reaches A Milestone Thanks To One Of His Earliest Mixtapes
In the years since his death in 2018, many of Mac Miller's earliest projects have taken on new meaning. Several of his mixtapes have been re-released on various formats, and fans of the late hip-hop musician have shown their respect by not only streaming his collections, but purchasing them, especially on vinyl. One of Miller's decade-plus-old projects appears on several charts in the United Kingdom this week, and it helps him posthumously reach a notable milestone. I Love Life, Thank You Debuts on Multiple Charts I Love Life, Thank You launches on three rankings in the U.K. this frame, reaching all of them for the first time. The set opens at No. 36 on the Official Vinyl Albums chart and at No. 92 on the Official Physical Albums tally. Most impressively, I Love Life, Thank You starts its time on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart at No. 10. Mac Miller's Tenth Top 10 Album Miller earns his tenth top 10 hit on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart. Throughout his career — including the years following his unexpected death due to a drug overdose — the rapper has sent a dozen titles to the genre-specific list, with only two missing the highest tier. Among Miller's 10 top 10s on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums ranking is just a sole No. 1. He didn't reach the summit until January of this year, when Balloonerism, his most recent posthumous release, debuted in first place. Previously, several studio efforts by the talented musician — including Circles, Faces, and Watching Movies with the Sound Off — missed the throne by just one spot. Mac Miller's Mixtape is More Than a Decade Old Miller released I Love Life, Thank You in October 2011, when he was still relatively unknown. His sixth mixtape arrived about a month before his debut album, Blue Slide Park, which helped him break out as one of the most exciting new names in hip-hop. I Love Life, Thank You was recently issued on vinyl in several colors, and purchases of the collectible help it debut on charts in a number of countries where Miller's fanbase remains eager for anything with his name on it.

Taylor Swift Keeps Wearing This Belt Brand - And So Do All Your Favorite Celebrities
When Travis Kelce went Instagram official with Taylor Swift last week, eagle-eyed fans everywhere zoomed in for a closer look at that phone background. I, on the other hand, clocked a different detail. Taylor was wearing B-Low the Belt yet again. This belt brand isn't new to fashion insiders. In fact, it's been featured in the glossy pages of ELLE Magazine on several occasions. But as more style stars step out in B-Low the Belt (and as Swift continues to don her ever-growing collection), I figured it was time to let you in on the industry secret. As I said, it really is one of Taylor Swift's go-to accessories that she reaches for time and time again. She's been photographed wearing at least three different styles. Selena Gomez, Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Sydney Sweeney, Sofia Richie Grainge, Florence Pugh, Charli XCX, and Alix Earle are also fans of the woman-owned brand. I'll own up to the fact that I'm not much of a belt wearer, but even I can recognize the transformative power of a good-quality belt. One quick cinch of the waist, and your look is completely elevated. And you and I both know—when Swift does something, the world will follow suit. The Los Angeles-based brand is shoppable online, at Revolve. Below, browse my curated edit of the best styles to shop now. ELLE Collective is a new community of fashion, beauty and culture lovers. Luedji Luna Unveils Raw Love In Her New Era
Brazilian artistLuedji Lunaemerges from deep waters withAntes Que A Terra Acabe (Before the Earth Ends), her fifth studio album. This new work serves as a compelling counterpoint to her recently launched 'Um Mar Pra Cada Um' (A Sea for Each One), bravely exposing the oddities, shadows, and contradictions inherent in the quest for love explored in the preceding album. In this fifth offering, Luedji Luna invites listeners to examine love through a magnified lens, unearthing the more intimidating and less noble layers of human desire. 'While the first album illustrates my search to love and be loved, the second reveals how far I can go to resolve that yearning,' Luna explains. 'InAntes Que A Terra Acabe, I show myself as earthly, human, ordinary. In our love experiences, we also encounter our strangeness, contradictions, and our ugliness. It's a very exposing record, even more than the previous one.' Despite its serious thematic core, Luna's journey flows into vibrant, joyful, and hedonistic spaces, embracing seduction and pleasure as common human experiences. Each track invites to welcome sincerest, most primal desires, moving effortlessly through various rhythms from lo-fi to bossa nova, even touching on Afrobeat and Amapiano, all while subtly flirting with the neo-soul and jazz that defined her previous work. 'I opted to bring in synthesizers, so it was a whole match of each producer listening to the other's work so that the productions weren't too far apart.' This meticulous approach ensures a cohesive, immersive sonic journey that transcends language barriers. 'I like to create vibes, to create universes with each album,' she says, emphasizing that the music aims to transport listeners into another dimension, regardless of whether they understand the Portuguese lyrics. This two-album project, a testament to her courage and self-investigation, marks a profound period of artistic maturity for Luna. 'I feel like I'm in my most mature moment in my career, not just musically, but in understanding that there's an aesthetic consistency,' she reflects. 'It has been very powerful to realize that people recognize themselves in my humanity.' As a leading voice in contemporary Brazilian music, with a significant audience in the United States, Luna is committed to bridging cultures through her sound, building on collaborations with international artists like Robert Glasper and exploring genres that resonate globally. Her confidence in her music, rather than market trends, is guiding her forward: 'I just need to trust my music, and it is taking me to this universe.
