Yungblud put 'every single molecule of energy and emotion' into his new album Idols

Yungblud put "every single molecule of energy and emotion" into his new album Idols.
The Fleabag rocker has shared the first of two albums in the series and told fans this is only "halfway through the story" that he encourages them to "immerse" themselves in and share with those they love.
Upon the first side's release, Yungblud penned on Instagram: "I've gone back and forth so many times on what I should say in this post that always holds such unprecedented pressure but, ultimately, as I look inside at the end of a crazy 4 year expedition, everything I have wanted say to lies within this music.
"I have put every single molecule of energy and emotion into this uncompromising adventure."
He continued: "All I can hope for is that you close your eyes and alone, with your friends, or family, immerse yourself in this journey from start to finish.
"I set out to create a story that would write itself along side you, travel with you throughout time and give you something you can pass on to the people you love in the same way that I am to you tonight.
"What is most beautiful about this is normally, at this point, the album campaign seems finished - I give it to the world and I let it go but this time we're only halfway through the story."
Yungblud started writing Idols four years ago after his album Weird! topped the charts but he admitted the people around him tried to get him to work on something else in order to capitalise on his commercial success, but he refused.
He told The Sun newspaper: 'I was dissuaded from doing Idols after Weird! because Weird! was so commercially successful.
'I went and worked with a load of songwriters — and when you do that, you've got seven people a week telling you what Yungblud should do next. I had to figure that out for myself.
'I didn't want to make vapid songs that sound great on the radio. Yeah, we've got a couple of f***** radio bangers on this record, but I wanted to make one album that's a through line — classic and timeless.
"There's no gimmicks, man. None. This is me leaving everything on the table, showing the world what I can do.
"That's why I orchestrated everything. I did everything I could to make it as deep and five-dimensional — lyrically and musically — as I possibly could.'
'I've been all over the world and spent a lot of time in America, but for this album I needed to come home."

Prince Andrew unleashes foul-mouthed rant at workers near his home: report

IN LONDON Prince Andrew unleashed a foul-mouthed rant at workers near his home who were installing speed bumps, it has been reported. According to The Sun, the disgraced Duke of York, 65, had a bout of road rage and confronted the group working within the Windsor Great Park estate. 'What the f**k are you doing now?' Andrew allegedly shouted at the men, who were putting in the traffic-slowing bumps. He reportedly became even angrier when he realised that one of the bumps was being installed on the road out of his sprawling mansion. 'The worker was just going about his job when Andrew, on one of his regular rides round the estate, came along and looked down from up high and said, 'What the f**k are you doing now?' the source claimed. 'Andrew likes to drive his car out of Royal Lodge quite fast and is obviously a bit peeved as one of the speed humps is right by the gate out of the park.' It's not the first time Andrew's alleged temper tantrums have been exposed. In early 2022, the duke allegedly yelled at a female gardener on his estate, claiming she was cutting trees incorrectly. She was 'shaken and upset' over the unpleasant encounter and reportedly no longer works in Andrew's vicinity. That same year, his former maid, Charlotte Briggs, told The Sun that he had once sworn at her over a pair of heavy curtains. She alleged that he'd made her run up four flights of stairs to close them as he sat nearby, and when a small gap was left behind, he shouted: 'Can't you f*****g do anything right?' It was also reported in 2016 that Andrew had rammed closed park gates in his Range Rover to avoid a short detour home. The duke is once again at the centre of an unflattering spotlight of attention, thanks to the publication of extracts from an upcoming book focusing on him and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson called Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the Yorks. In one of the previews, released via the Daily Mail, it was alleged by author Andrew Lownie that"'tension' between Prince William and his uncle is at least partially caused by 'rude' remarks about his wife. A source told Lownie there have been issues between the Duke of York and William for years amid Andrew's reputational free fall. According to the insider, Andrew had been 'rude' about Kate – although details of his remarks were not divulged. Lownie also writes that William had been campaigning for years to get his uncle – who lives with Sarah – evicted from the Royal Lodge, which is situated on the grounds of Windsor Castle. 'He [William] also loathes Sarah, Andrew's ex-wife, and can't wait for the day when his father throws them both out,' the source alleged. 'If Charles doesn't, I guarantee you the first thing William does when he eventually becomes king is to get them evicted.' It's also been widely reported that William has been instrumental in ensuring Andrew remains out of the working royal fold in the years since his trainwreck Newsnight interview.

Yungblud hopes to keep Ozzy Osbourne's spirit alive

Yungblud wants to keep Ozzy Osbourne's "spirit" and "energy" alive. The music icon passed away on July 22, aged 76, and Yungblud - who performed at Ozzy's final concert in Birmingham, England - has paid a heartfelt tribute to his "hero". The 28-year-old star - whose real name is Dominic Harrison - told Sky News: "Ozzy is everything to me, always has been. And to be able to go on stage and honour my hero and sing that song to him, without knowing that they were his final days, was everything to me. "I will try my best to keep that spirit and keep that energy alive. I love that guy. I got to know him personally at the end and I love that family. I've got nothing but love, always." Yungblud previously admitted that he's "found solace in being similar" to Ozzy. The singer is a long-time fan of the Black Sabbath frontman, and he paid a glowing tribute to Ozzy - who revealed in 2020 that he'd been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease - ahead of the band's farewell gig at Villa Park. Yungblud told The Independent: "Since I can remember, Ozzy has always been a part of my life. "I grew up around rock music, and he was a character to me before I even knew anything about him. I remember his hair, I remember his massive mouth, I remember his glasses from when I was three years old. "If you know me and my family, we're truly f****** loud – they used to call us The Osbournes. So, I kind of found solace in being similar to them. "Growing up watching The Osbournes and the madness, I was always like that. I was always out there and crazy. To see someone being so loved and accepted with all their madness … I really found solace in a figure like Ozzy." Yungblud thinks they're actually very similar, despite their musical differences. The 11 Minutes hitmaker said: "We're very similar. "Even though we don't necessarily make the same kind of music, we kind of represent the same thing. Being out there and thinking outside the box is what we're both known for."

Katy Perry slapped with huge fine over music video

Katy Perry has been forced to pay a huge fine after filming a music video in a 'protected area' of Spain. The music star was filming for her single Lifetimes last July but not all went to plan. The 40-year-old filmed the music video in the Ses Salines Natural Park on the Balearic Islands sparking outrage among locals, reports The Sun. At the time, the Balearic Islands government said an investigation was underway after it emerged that Katy's video was filmed in a protected area without necessary permissions. In a press release, the environmental agency clarified that 'in no case had the production company' sought permission to shoot in the Ses Salines National Park. Parts of Katy's Lifetimes video were reportedly filmed within the dunes on the islet of S'Espalmador, located within the UNESCO World Heritage nature reserve that spans the islands of Ibiza and Formentera. The video also includes a series of postcards from what appear to be filming locations including Ibiza and Formentera, where the national park is located. Lifetimes is the second single from Katy's upcoming sixth studio album 143. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Natural Environment said a preliminary investigation for possible environmental damage had been launched against production company WeOwnTheCity. Now, it's been revealed the firm has been slapped with a €6,001 (A$10,747) fine, according to Majorca Daily Bulletin. But as there was no lasting damage to the area, officials say there will be no additional penalties handed out, despite it being a 'serious' offence. In the Lifetimes music video, directed by Stillz, Katy can be seen cliff jumping, dancing on a beach, and partying at popular night-life spots on the islands. The video also includes a series of postcards from what appear to be filming locations including Ibiza and Formentera, where the national park is located. Lifetimes is the second single from Katy's upcoming sixth studio album 143. It follows the release of the album's lead single Woman's World, which received mostly negative reviews. Fans have criticised the song's 'dated' lyrics, with one person branding it 'the worst thing I've ever heard.' 'I was rooting for Katy but these lyrics are so dated it's giving 2016 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign material. It's over,' another fan wrote on X. Several people, including actress Abigail Breslin, also called her out for collaborating with disgraced music producer Dr. Luke on the song and album. One X user wrote, 'The irony of having a song praising women but you're working with Dr. Luke? Katy Perry I didn't expect this from you.' Kesha accused Dr. Luke of sexually assaulting her in a 2014 lawsuit. He denied the allegations and countersued the TiKToK singer, with the duo settling their claims last year.
