Manhunt launched after woman followed off bus and sexually assaulted
A woman was sexually assaulted in the street after being followed off a bus in west London.
The Met has released CCTV of the suspect in last month's attack.
The woman, in her 20s, reported being sexually assaulted in Park Road, Ealing, shortly before midnight on May 21.
She got off the E1 bus, going from Ealing Broadway Station to Greenford Broadway, at Browning Avenue and was followed down Park Road.
The suspect is described as Black, in his late 20s or early 30s, and approximately 5ft 11in tall, with a slim build.
He has dark, curly hair and was captured on CCTV wearing a black jacket and navy blue, Nike t-shirt. More Trending
The man was seen on CCTV running north on Park Road following the incident, back towards Browning Avenue and the E1 bus stop.
Detective Constable Teresa Moore said: 'Women and girls should be safe to travel on public transport – and walk the streets of London – without being attacked.
'This incident highlights the opportunistic behaviour of the offender, so it is really important we locate him as soon as possible.'
She appealed for any witnesses, especially other passengers on the bus, to get in touch.

He said: 'After the girl's mother alerted her husband, who didn't see the incident, he jumped into the ocean to save his daughter. 'BSO detectives said after the 37-year-old father found his daughter, he treaded water until they were rescued by a tender that was launched from the ship.' Security video from the ship corroborated statements from the family and cruise staff about how the event unfolded, Sheriff Tony said. The dad sustained an unspecified injury as he fought to save his daughter and was hospitalised after the ship returned to port. 'BSO investigators said the total time from the child's accidental fall to the rescue was about 20 minutes. 'Once rescued, the father and daughter were checked out by the ship's medical staff.' Sheriff Tony said that detectives were still gathering details but were releasing the available details 'in response to misinformation'. 'This family is so blessed. It's great to be able to respond to good news rather than what could have been a tragic outcome,' he said. The incident has gone viral with a video shared on TikTok showing the dad treading water with the daughter in his arms, before handing her over to rescuers. Passengers can be seen watching from the 3,500-capacity ship and cheering once they saw the pair were safe. Around 19people were shot in the 300 block on West Chicago Avenue while people were leaving the Artis Lounge nightclub. People were leaving the club following an album release by the rapper Mello Buckzz.
