'Not about you and your money': Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf roast Steelers star Cameron Heyward over contract drama
Steelers fans tuned into Cameron Heyward's podcast expecting some inside scoop on the season, but instead, they got comedy gold.
Aaron Rodgers
and DK Metcalf joined the show and immediately lit up Heyward over his very public push for a new contract.
What started as playful banter ended up sounding like a roast session, and fans on social media can't stop replaying the clip.
Aaron Rodgers and DK Metcalf team up to roast Heyward on his own podcast
The viral moment came when Heyward brought up his extension talks, and DK Metcalf jumped in first:
'Everything not about you, bro.'
Just when it seemed like Heyward might clap back, Aaron Rodgers doubled down with,
'Not about you and your money, got damn.'
The timing had everyone cracking up, but it also put a giant spotlight on the tension surrounding Heyward's future in Pittsburgh.
Steelers star Cameron Heyward at the center of contract tension
Cameron Heyward, a 35-year-old defensive anchor, has been holding in at camp while negotiating a possible extension. He's made it clear he wants to finish his career as a Steeler but also wants to be paid accordingly. The Steelers already handed T.J. Watt a massive $123 million deal back in 2021, setting the bar for defensive contracts. Heyward, with six Pro Bowls and three first-team All-Pro honors, believes he deserves his due.

The hold-in is his way of pushing the team to make it happen.
Aaron Rodgers also gets an on-air apology from Heyward
This wasn't the only headline moment from the pod. Heyward also addressed Rodgers directly, apologizing for comments he made earlier this offseason when Rodgers joined the team. It was a bit of a tension-breaker, and Rodgers took it in stride, laughing through the exchange.

Still, the main takeaway? Rodgers and Metcalf weren't about to let Heyward slide without poking fun at his contract standoff.
What was meant to be just another podcast turned into the perfect mix of laughs and drama. Rodgers and Metcalf's jabs at Heyward highlight how messy the Steelers' extension talks have become.
At the end of the day, jokes aside, Pittsburgh still has a serious decision to make, pay their veteran leader or risk starting the season with one of their biggest stars unhappy.

Caitlin Clark injury update: Fever star ‘done for the season'; WNBA analyst makes bold prediction
Caitlin Clark might not play this season. A WNBA analyst, Rachel DeMita, made a bold prediction about the Indiana Fever star on her podcast, repeatedly saying that the 23-year-old will miss the team's remaining games this season. Clark has not played since hurting her groin in the final minute of a game on July 15 at Connecticut. She has already suffered three different muscle injuries in the last few weeks and has missed 22 games in total, including the last 13 and All-Star weekend in Indianapolis. Rachel DeMita's key Caitlin Clark prediction Rachel DeMita, a former Big 3 League reporter, on her podcast, said he believes Clark is done for the season. 'I don't think Caitlin Clark is coming back," she said. Her statement has sparked worries among the Fever's fanbase. She has now started focusing on the WNBA. The analyst has been commenting on Clark's injury. She is married to former Oklahoma City Thunder player Andre Roberson. Clark never missed a game in college and played in every Fever game last season when she won the WNBA's Rookie of the Year Award. Indiana spent the offseason going all-in on putting a stronger supporting cast around the former Iowa star and those moves appear to have paid off by keeping the Fever in playoff position without Clark and the rest. But Clark still has a role with the Fever. 'Caitlin's still there, like that hasn't wavered,' All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell said. 'And I think even though they're not in the lineup, we still feel everyone's presence.' (With AP inputs)
