Chloe Kelly's husband's normal day job and key role it played in Lioness star romance

England star Chloe Kelly offered a rare insight into her marriagr and private life with husband Scott Moore before the Lionesses won the Euros
England forward Chloe Kelly made headlines during the Women's Euros 2025 - not just for her on-pitch performance, but for a touching personal moment that offered fans a rare glimpse into her private life.

As she prepared to come off the bench during a tournament match, cameras captured Chloe, 27, revealing custom shin pads featuring a photo from her wedding day. The romantic detail thrust her husband, Scott Moore, into the spotlight despite his typically low profile and desire to keep out of the public eye.

Chloe and her husband Scott first met when she was playing for Everton and he was working as a groundsman. The pair connected after Kelly held a door open for him. 'He went on to message her on Instagram,' the couple previously shared.

Their first date was far from glamorous but for Chloe, it was her most memorable first date ever. 'We got a little monkey and every time I see it, it reminds me of when we went to IKEA,' Kelly previously revealed as she reflected on the early stages of their relationship.
The couple became engaged in December 2023 during a trip to Finnish Lapland. Moore proposed during a private husky ride beneath the Northern Lights. 'The easiest yes ever,' Kelly wrote in an Instagram post at the time.

In July 2024, the pair were married in a ceremony at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire. Kelly wore a custom gown by Galia Lahav's Elysee line, described as a form-fitting lace design with a dramatic train. '
Creating Chloe's dress was a labour of love, capturing her vibrant spirit and timeless beauty,' said designer Sharon Sever. Her look was completed with a matching veil and Jimmy Choo heels.

With their first anniversary coinciding with the Euros, Kelly admitted she hadn't yet made plans to mark the occasion. 'I haven't even got a card, to be honest,' she said ahead of the tournament. 'I'm sure in the moment, I'll think of something and get my mum to sort it.'
She added: 'But no, we are just taking it each game as it comes and we've got a huge game coming up and we know that we need to be at our best for that, so not looking too far ahead. I'm sure Scott has, but I definitely haven't.'
Before joining the England camp, Kelly and Moore took a short break in a seaside villa alongside teammate Gabby George, who is the cousin of Jesse Lingard, and her partner.

The two couples enjoyed a final moment of relaxation before a packed summer of football in Switzerland.
Chloe is currently celebrating the Lionesses huge win at the Euros over the weekend. And for Sarina Wiegman, it is a third successive European title, having won with England in 2021 and Netherlands in 2017.

For her players, it is a second straight success, and a revenge mission accomplished against world champs Spain.
The players celebrated into the night in Switzerland, starting the part on the pitch with fans after collecting their medals before heading into the bowels of the stadium in Basel to begin the party with pizza and beers.

Lucy Bronze revealed she'd been playing through the tournament with a broken leg - but that wouldn't be stopping her from enjoying their success.
'I'll do some more dancing," said head coach Wiegman. "I'll have a drink but I don't think I'll drink as much as the players will do."

'I'm a rare coin collector – how to spot 50p listed for whopping £15k online'

Some rare coins can sell for an absolute fortune online, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's got the correct price tag. So how do you spot a 50p worth £15,000? It's no secret certain change can hold a mega value, whether it's three £1 coins worth hundreds or a "super rare" 50p coin that could sell for £40,000 online. Now we know rare coins are all the rage at the moment, so do you own this special piece worth loads? ‌ Over on Instagram, user @CoinCollectingWizard, who boasts 31,000 followers, revealed how a Paddington Bear piece was listed for an eye-watering £15,000 on eBay. But despite seeing that hefty price tag on selling websites, it doesn't necessarily mean it's worth that staggering amount at all, so how can you tell the difference? ‌ The post read: "£15,000 for a Paddington Bear 50p?! Let's find out more... ‌ "You've probably seen the headlines or eBay listings claiming someone's selling a Paddington Bear 50p for £15,000... But is it really worth that much?" He added: "No. Not even close." Speaking in the post, the coin expert revealed how these pieces are made in huge numbers, especially the 2018 and 2019 versions showing Paddington at the Station, the Palace, the Tower and St Paul's. ‌ "They're fun to collect, but... Anyone can list a coin for any price on eBay," the expert continued: "That doesn't mean it's actually worth it, or that anyone will ever pay it." So how can you tell if it's worth that amount? Paddington Bear 50p coins are worth their value, but in some cases can go for a couple of pounds. But if they're in a sealed collector's pack or a rare error (which is unlikely), this can differ. Also listings which ask for thousands are just trying to trick people who don't know better, the Coin Collecting Wizard admitted. ‌ He concluded: "If you see a crazy price online – always check with someone who knows before you get too excited. That's what I'm here for!" The 2018 Paddington Bear 50p coin was issued by The Royal Mint to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic bear. It features Paddington on his suitcase in front of the station, wearing the famous tag around his neck. This is the first time Paddington ever featured on official UK coinage with serious collectors keen to get their claws on one in the best possible condition. Even the newest and shiniest standard collection coins have numerous scratches and marks, but The Royal Mint issue specifically struck collector quality "Brilliant Uncirculated" coins which are guaranteed not to have the scratches and chips.

Jessie J targeted by vile trolls after sharing heartbreak over Hamas hostage video

Jessie J, who this week spoke candidly about her ongoing health struggles following recent surgery for breast cancer, received a torrent of online abuse after an Instagram post Jessie J faced a torrent on online abuse after she shared her sadness at footage of an Israeli hostage captured by Hamas. ‌ The singer, 37, called images of emaciated Evyatar David "heartbreaking" as he was forced to dig what appeared to be his own grave. She wrote on Instagram: "I just cannot bear the evil in this world. Please, God, make the suffering end." ‌ The Brit Award-winning musician also included a quote from a pro-Israel activist in her post to her 14 million Instagram followers. However, trolls targeted the star, who was recently rushed to hospital with an infection weeks after breast cancer surgery. The abuse comes after Katie Price recently worried her fans on Instagram with a family photo. ‌ Following her post, Jessie, from Chadwell Heath, east London, was branded a "disgusting Zionist" while another troll called her a "terrorist and baby killer supporter" among the sickening barrage of abuse. Another vile troll claimed she was trying to keep her "Zio bosses happy". ‌ The musician, who has had three UK number one singles, had referred to a hostage who was abducted by Hamas during the October 7, 2023, massacre at the Nova music festival. He has been held in Gaza for the 668 days since then. In addition to her own thoughts, mum-of-one Jessie included a quote from the poem, which read: "I thought images of starved Jews digging their own graves would forever be confined to history books. To see the past become present is a horror. Never Again. Again." Some, though, showed the Londoner their support, thanking her for bringing the horrors to the attention of social media users. One person posted: "Thank for speaking out about the actual horrors going on." Another said: "Thank you for your bravery in speaking out against the treatment of the starving hostages." It was another emotional post from the star, famed for tunes such as Domino and Price Tag, following ones about her health battle. After she was rushed to hospital weeks after her cancer operation, Jessie J joked: "Apparently it's called… Dramatic? I think that's the spelling. My symptoms are the same and no idea what's wrong yet. But my sarcasm and sense of humour are holding on." Filming herself for what she called her first "real‑time" update since her operation, Jessie admitted: "I think people think I'm hanging on by a thread… which in some moments has felt that way." The singer added: "Like two or three days ago when I woke up and I couldn't breathe. I still have pain in my chest when I breathe, but it's not as bad."

Harris posted a series of photographs on Instagram on Monday along with the caption: '20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here!' He added: 'My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.' The comments section was flooded with congratulations from fans around the world as well as fellow musicians including Jade Thirlwall and Craig David. Some comments expressed surprise at the choice of photographs the DJ shared which included what appears to be the before and after shots of the placenta, the organ which forms in the womb during pregnancy, before it was steamed, dehydrated and ground into pills to be consumed. Consuming one's own placenta, known as placentophagia, remains a debated practice with some claiming it offers health benefits. Among the supporters was singer Becky Hill who posted in the comments: 'Love to see the placenta!! Amazing we grow a whole new organ to provide life! Good job not wasting it either, that's some goddess magic right there!' Celebrities who have reportedly eaten their own placenta include reality star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, American singer and actress Mandy Moore, and Mad Men star January Jones. Hope, 35, is best known for presenting the BBC Radio 1 drivetime show Going Home. She reportedly married the Dumfries-born DJ in 2023.
