Second series of MobLand confirmed following ‘resounding success' of first instalment
The gangster drama, set in London and executive produced by Guy Ritchie, stars Co. Louth native Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, the head of an Irish organised crime family.
His wife, family matriarch Maeve, is played by Helen Mirren and Tom Hardy stars as the family's fixer.

All hell broke loose in the first series as gang warfare erupted on the streets of London between the Harrigans and the Stevensons before stretching to the Harrigan's country pile in the Cotswolds.
The series aired on Paramount+ in March and April and left fans on a cliffhanger regarding the future of some of its best-loved characters.
In a post on their social media accounts this week, Paramount+ confirmed a second series is on the cards.
'They may have won the battle, but will they win the war? Mobland will return for season two," they stated.
'Unfinished business never ends quietly," they added.
The series was created by Belfast author and screenwriter Ronan Bennett, who is also an executive producer on the show.
Bennett co-writes the show with The Ferryman playwright Jez Buterworth.
Director Anthony Byrne, the Dubliner behind the likes of Say Nothing, Peaky Blinders and Love/Hate, directed four episodes of the first series, while Ritchie directed two.
Paramount have confirmed that the first series 'scored 26 million viewers' for the channel.

A biopic of the late Sinead O'Connor is rumoured to be in the works. Variety has learned a movie about the life of the Nothing Compares 2 U singer has been commissioned by See-Saw Films, who produced Slow Horses and The Power of the Dog. The film will tell the story of the early life and career of the Bray musician, who died in 2023 at the age of 56, her rise in the music world, and how she used her platform to challenge powerful institutions. The biopic aims to capture the story of a young artist whose talent and activism left a lasting global impact. The 87-year-old told Oliver Callan on his RTE Radio 1 show: "When Sinéad passed, I cried my eyes out for a fortnight. I still miss her," he told Callan. "Of course it's a comfort (the outpouring of grief by the public), but Sinéad had two personas. "One was in the public arena and the other was with her family and I saw her funeral as being lovely for her fans. "I visit her grave every week... and we have a conversation and I bring her up to date." The radio presenter asked what he did for Sinéad when "the fame part was cruel to her", and he replied: "You can't do anything except be there. "Sinéad could be outrageous in the public world and she could be outrageous in the family, she could be cranky. In the end I always had compassion for her, she was always on the edge. "We got on very well, most of the time, sometimes she'd fall out with me." He also recounted the happy memory of the last time he saw Sinéad when they took a three-night holiday in Wexford and said that having so much family around him helped when she died. ‘Fab weekend' planned as Dublin celebrates ties with Liverpool and The Beatles
CELEBRATIONS will take place this month to mark the connection between Dublin city and The Beatles. Dublin City Council has announced The Beatles Weekend, an inaugural celebration of the fab four - who hailed from Liverpool but all had Irish connections - which will take place later this month. "This really is going to be a fab weekend and comes to us with every good wish from our twin sister city of Liverpool and their world-renowned Cavern Club who also celebrate their annual international Beatles week at the same time,' Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Ray McAdam said. 'I want to thank my predecessor as Lord Mayor Coouncillor Emma Blain,' he added. 'Her official engagement with Liverpool in spring this year, including visiting Rice Lane Primary School in the Penny Lane ward, ensured we revitalise our long-standing twinning relationship with the great city of Liverpool.' Dublin City Council has announced its inaugural Beatles Weekend will take place this month The planned event, which takes place from August 22 to 24, will also mark the historic connections between the Irish capital, and the city of Liverpool in north west England. 'We share deep and affectionate family and social relations over many generations with Liverpool,' Cllr McAdam said. Jon Keats, The Cavern Club's Director of Operations and Music said the new event supports their own ethos of 'nurturing' the next generation of musical artists. "The Beatles, Liverpool and the Cavern Club will be forever connected, as indeed will Liverpool's relationship with our neighbours over in Dublin,' Mr Keats said. 'The Cavern today is a place of pilgrimage for Beatle fans and indeed, music fans, from all over the world and arguably the place people feel closest to these four lads from Liverpool,' he added. 'Our role as custodians of this unique venue, is to protect this musical and cultural heritage, whilst nurturing and supporting the next generations of artists. The Beatles famously played at Dublin's Adelphi on Abbey Street in 1963 and the Council has planned music and dance events at Wigwam on Middle Abbey Street, as well as family-friendly activities in Temple Bar's Meeting House Square and Parliament Street during their Beatles weekend.
