Mykonos, Air Serbia's new destination

Air Serbia launches direct Belgrade–Mykonos flights, operating twice weekly this summer, enhancing connectivity and supporting strong Serbian tourism demand to Greece.
With the JU554 flight this morning, Air Serbia officially launched its direct service between Belgrade and Mykonos. During the summer season, the Serbian national carrier will fly twice a week to the Greek island, every Monday and Friday. HE Nikola Nedeljković, ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Greece, staged a welcome ceremony for Air Serbia's inaugural flight, highlighting the importance of the new airline.
'Year after year, Greece has been among the most popular destinations for Serbian tourists, which is why we are further expanding our presence on that market. During the summer season, we will fly to seven destinations in Greece, namely Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Corfu, Chania, Heraklion, and now Mykonos. By introducing direct flights to the island, travellers can reach one of the most attractive summer destinations faster and easier. We believe that travellers will use the opportunity to visit Mykonos and enjoy exclusive beaches, top gastronomic offer, and a vibrant nightlife,' said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial & Strategy Air Serbia.
Mykonos, often called 'The Island of the Winds', situated in the heart of the Cyclades island group, is a unique combination of cosmopolitan spirit and traditional charm. On this magical island, luxurious hotels, and stone-paved streets intertwine, while houses with white facade, village chapels, and numerous windmills perfectly fit into the ambience full of serenity and authenticity. During the day, Mykonos is bathed in warm sunlight, while numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants are the perfect location for vibrant nightlife.
Air Serbia offers good connectivity from Mykonos, via Belgrade, to numerous destinations from its network, including Alghero, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Vienna, Zurich, Florence, Hannover, Larnaca, Krakow, Ljubljana, Lyon, Milan, Nurnberg, Paris, Prague, Salzburg, Stuttgart, Stockholm, and Zagreb.

Air Serbia launched direct Belgrade – Alghero flights, expanding its Italian network. The route operates twice weekly during the summer season. With yesterday's JU478 flight, Air Serbia has officially commenced a direct service between Belgrade and Alghero in Sardinia. During the summer season, the Serbian national airline will fly to this beautiful island twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday. 'By introducing a direct service between Belgrade and Alghero, we further boost Air Serbia's presence in Italy. Our passengers can fly to ten cities in the country, and the choice is not easy. From Rome, Milan, Venice, and Bologna to Florence, Naples, Bari, Palermo, Catania in Sicily, and Alghero in Sardinia, whichever you pick, you will surely enjoy the rich history, diverse natural beauty and outstanding cuisine. Being a great host is a priority for both Air Serbia and Italy, which is why your trip will be a unique experience to remember,' said Boško Rupić, General Manager Commercial & Strategy, Air Serbia. Sardinia is the second-largest Mediterranean island. With over 1,800 kilometers of coastline, Sardinia is known for its beautiful beaches and turquoise crystal clear sea. Tourists from all over the world are especially attracted by the white sand beaches like Costa Smeralda and La Pelosa, and the true spirit of the island is carried by its cities, where tradition, history and the daily life of the local population intertwine. A walk through the narrow stone streets, the smells of home cooking and the sights of the old squares reveal the essence of Sardinia – warm, welcoming and irresistibly charming. Airfares for Belgrade-Alghero flights can be booked on Air Serbia's website.

The second edition of Investopia Global – Mediterranean will be organized in collaboration with several ministries and government bodies in the UAE and Greece, alongside Investopia partners. The Minister of Economy said: 'The countries of the Mediterranean region enjoy significant momentum from competitive economic components and promising investment opportunities linked to vital areas, particularly the new economy, tourism, hospitality, entrepreneurship, technology, AI, logistics, healthcare, and renewable energy.
