We can now reveal that Catherine has been spotted on set, signaling further she is all set for her big Coronation Street comeback.
A source told The Sun: "'There has been lots of excitement on set because Catherine has been seen around the place.
"She's not back filming just yet, but it won't be long."
Back in February, The Sun were first to reveal the exciting news that Catherine was set reprise her famous Corrie role.
A source told us at the time: 'Cath has been away for a while and worked on countless other projects but she really missed Corrie.
'They've tried to get her back a few times but the stars have never alligned.
'But when she was approached with the idea for Eva's return, it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
'She'll start filming again in summer and be back on screen for autumn.
'She's so excited and can't wait to get back on the cobbles and it's definitely not going to be a storyline to miss.'
BECOMING A CORRIE STAR
Catherine was an instant hit when she joined Corrie in 2011, as feisty barmaid Eva.
Coronation Street actors Shayne Ward and Catherine Tyldesley lead soap stars in The Good Ship Murder
She was on the ITV soap for seven years until 2018 and during that time was involved in some HUGE storylines.
In her most memorable storyline she fell pregnant with tragic Aidan Connor's baby and attempted to give her daughter to Toyah Battersby.
Cath's character also enjoyed several steamy relationships with Adam Barlow, Rob Donovan, Jason Grimshaw and Nick Tilsley.
Eva left Weatherfield after she moved to France with her mum Stella.

COMEBACK TALK
Earlier this year, Catherine opened up about the possibility of returning to the cobbles.
She teased fans by insisting she would "never say never".
"Coronation Street feels like forever ago, but I always look back with such great fondness,' she told Prima magazine.
"They've asked me to go back a couple of times over the years, and it just so happened that I was busy with other projects.
"But if they approached me with an amazing storyline and the time was right, of course, I'd go back. So it's always a case of never say never.'
LIFE AWAY FROM CORRIE
Since leaving Coronation Street, Catherine has continued to dominate our TV screens.
She has gone on to star in BBC One series Scarborough and Channel 5 drama The Good Ship Murder, as well as compete on the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Cath also appeared in a guest role of Michelle Keegan's Sky comedy Brassic.

Sue Cleaver's real reason for leaving Corrie as Eileen exits after 25 years

Sue Cleaver's final scenes as Eileen Grimshaw will air during tonight's Coronation Street - but why did the actress decide to leave after 25 years? It's set to be an emotional night in Coronation Street tonight as Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) waves goodbye to Weatherfield after 25 years. It was previously revealed that the star would be leaving alongside her on screen son, Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) who made his return upon Sue's request. Sue recently confessed in an interview that she'd called close friend Ryan, begging him to come back for her final storyline - an offer he could not refuse. ‌ In January, Sue announced that she'd be leaving the soap after playing Eileen Grimshaw for 25 years - expressing why she felt now was the time to say goodbye. ‌ "I've had 25 privileged years of working on Coronation Street," Sue said in a statement shared with the media. Explaining the reasoning behind her departure, the star went on to say: "The door is still firmly open but as I reached my 60th year, I decided it was time to embrace change, look for new adventures and live fearlessly." Despite saying she "adored" her time on the show, she realised it was time to take on new projects. During her time on Coronation Street, Sue had embarked on a number of projects outside of the show. Before announcing her exit, she had an extended period of leave from the show to take part in the theatre production of Sister Act as as Mother Superior. In 2024, she became a panellist on ITV daytime chat show, Loose Women. Sue will be dearly missed by her Corrie colleagues, as executive producer Kate Brooks said in a statement: "We're sad to bid farewell to the wonderful Sue Cleaver. Over the past twenty five years, Eileen Grimshaw has been at the heart of some of the most memorable and iconic Corrie storylines, and her onscreen rivalry with Gail Platt (Helen Worth) will undoubtedly go down in Corrie folklore. ‌ "There's certainly no one quite like Eileen, and her character will be hugely missed on the Cobbles. We wish Sue all the very best as she embarks on her next exciting chapter." Ahead of her big exit airing on ITV - eager fans who watched the episode on ITVX have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter to express their thoughts on the exit. One emotional fan penned: "Wow todays episode of Corrie had me happy crying what an ending for an iconic character. I'm gonna miss Eileen Grimshaw so much. Thank you Sue Cleaver for 25 incredible years."

Corrie Eileen star's life off screen from near-death experience to ITV husband

Eileen Grimshaw is about to leave the cobbles for good since joining Coronation Street back in 2000, but there's plenty more to learn about the actress behind the soap legend Almost everyone knows the name Eileen Grimshaw from her time on our screens over the last two decades, but as she exits the show, fans are learning more about the real star behind it all. From finding her husband to a terrifying health battle - Sue Cleaver has been through a offscreen - while playing Eileen onscreen. Sue joined the soap in the year 2000 and is about to make her final exit in her role as Eileen. Throughout her time on the show, she has made appearances in other parts of the TV world, gaining recognition for her down-to-earth nature, away from the Corrie limelight. ‌ However, before it all began, the actress was raised in Barnet, Hertfordshire, by her adopted parents. It wasn't until her twenties that she reconnected with her birth mother and discovered a relationship with her sisters, who also happened to be actresses. ‌ As she found her passion for drama, Cleaver played her first ever TV part, albeit a minor role, in A Touch of Frost, kicking off a television career that would go on to last over 20 years. After her first role, she starred in the highly acclaimed series, Band of Gold, before solidifying herself in the world of TV alongside Julie Walters in Girls Night - but it was her role on Coronation Street that skyrocketed her to fame. As well as becoming a household name, Sue also found love on the ITV soap. Sue is currently married to Brian Owen, lighting technician for ITV. The couple met on the set of Corrie in the 2000s, and have been together ever since. Previously, the star was married to actor James Quinn - who also starred in soaps including Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, and Doctors. The couple tied the knot in 1993, before parting ways ten years later. The couple share son Elliot together. ‌ During her time on one of Britain's favourite soaps, Cleaver was able to dabble in other projects that helped fans get to know the real her. In 2022, the actress joined Ant and Dec in the jungle for the 22nd series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, where she gained even wider recognition, placing 9th in the series. Three years prior to her stint on I'm A Celebrity, Sue went through a terrifying health scare, when a battle with sepsis left her fighting for her life. Initially thinking it was an IBS flare up - it was co-star Melanie Hill who noticed Sue's feet were blue and purple. Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning back in 2019, she recalled uncontrollably shivering as her husband came back from a night shift. "He came back and I was just shaking. He rang out daughter, who's a paramedic who said: 'Get her to hospital.' My temperature was 39.9. I didn't know I had sepsis till the next day. ‌ "Immediately I was on fluids and antibiotics. There was an hour window of opportunity," she shared. The star also opened up about the terrifying ordeal on Loose Women this year - after becoming a panellist on the show. She also opened up about her departure from the soap, saying: "I have decided after 25 wonderful, wonderful years that it is time to hang Eileen back up in the prop cupboard." ‌ She continued: "I've decided that it's time to leave. I mean, they're keeping the door firmly open for me. But it's just, it's the right time; it's the end of an era." Just last year, the star published her first ever book, A Work in Progress, and in it, she detailed her life stories, from time on the cobbles to family life, all while sharing her tips and advice for other women. Speaking about her iconic onscreen punch up with rival Gail Platt in 2004 in the publication, Sue penned: 'We had to wear kneepads and elbow pads – it was quite physical. It took hours and hours to film. At one point I was lying on the cobbles which were soaking wet and she sat astride me and we looked at each other and I said: 'What a f*****g stupid way to pay the mortgage.' We both got the giggles." Tonight, Eileen Grimshaw will finally say goodbye to the cobbles - as she embarks on new adventures. Fans will surely miss the star - but the door has been left open, should she ever want to return to the soap.

Jeremy Clarkson's daughter made Lisa Hogan 'burst into tears'

The 51-year-old former model and co-star on Amazon's Clarkson's Farm opened up about her life with the ex-Top Gear host, revealing that despite not being engaged, their blended family shares a close bond. Lisa explained that Emily, a social media influencer and author, has previously spoken about her own daughter in such a kind way in the past. I've said it before, but I think Clarkson's Farm is my favourite show of the past 5 years. It's funny and engaging, you learn a heap, and it's done such a great job on showing the world the plight of farmers and how essential they are. And, of course, Jezza is Jezza ❤️ — Andrew Johnston (@ARJ7X) May 26, 2025 She said: "Emily has this podcast called Shall I Delete That? and she spoke about my daughter in such a sweet way that I burst out crying. They've known each other for nine years, and I think they really care about each other." She also gave insights into Jeremy's personality away from the cameras, describing him as endlessly curious and brimming with energy, even over the smallest things. When discussing the prospect of marriage, Lisa expressed contentment with their relationship as it is, telling the Daily Mail: "Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. "We decided not to have children together." "We're at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I'm just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it's much easier." Recommended reading: As the new series of Clarkson's Farm hits the screens, Jeremy's health sparked even more concern following his heart surgery last year to fit two stents. Reflecting on the latest episodes, Jeremy observed how he appeared increasingly unwell as the series went on. Speaking to The Sun, Jeremy said: "You can see me becoming more and more ill as the days go on, because I just lose my sense of humour, lose my ability to stay calm. "I get in a proper old panic. I didn't know at the time. I knew I wasn't being me. Because if you don't sleep, it very quickly has an effect."
