Springfield Fire Dept., Crime Stoppers looking for tips in arson case
Officials said the fire happened on Monday around 3 a.m. at Butternut Hut in downtown Springfield. A suspect was recorded on video breaking a window to the business and throwing something inside that was already on fire. When the object landed, it burst and the fire started to expand.

At the time of the crime, people were living in the apartments above the business. Officials did not say if there were any injuries.
The suspect was recorded wearing dark clothing and carrying a tan bag on their back.
Anyone with knowledge of the suspect's identity is asked to submit a tip to Crime Stoppers by calling 217-788-8427, visiting their website or using the P3 Tips app. All tips to Crime Stoppers are both anonymous and eligible for a cash reward should an arrest be made.

Detroit police seek public's help finding missing 12-year-old girl
The Detroit Police Department is asking the public for help in locating Rain Williams, 12, who was reported missing on Friday. Officials say Williams left her home on the 18000 block of Northlawn Street without permission on Friday and has yet to return. According to police, she is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has brown eyes and braided black hair. Williams was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray jogging pants and carrying a pink bookbag. 34-year-old Dauphin woman missing since Thursday
A 34-year-old Dauphin woman has been missing since Thursday, when she was last seen in the western Manitoba city, police say. Jacqueline Head was last seen at an address on Second Avenue SW around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. A missing person report was filed later that evening, Dauphin RCMP said in a Saturday news release. Police described Head as five feet four inches tall and about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and plaid pants, police said.
