Jake Lockett, who played firefighter Sam Carver since 2022, confirmed in April that he would not return as a full-time cast member.He wrote on Instagram, 'While I don't exactly know what the future looks like, I do know that it won't be exactly what it was and I am going to miss the hell out of that.'He added, 'It's been an honor bringing Sam to life and to every one of you, thank you for the love and support over the past three years.'

Showrunner Andrea Newman has revealed that Chicago Fire will face significant changes in Season 14.'We're going to have a lot of turnover,' Newman told TVLine in May. 'And a lot of craziness going on in the CFD from the top, where people are being cut and moved, and everything's going to get shaken up next season.'In another interview with TV Insider, Newman added, 'There's nobody safe in this shakeup. Next season is going to be about how the s*** really hits the fan once that mandate comes down.'She said the show will explore how the team can hold together as a family while dealing with external changes.One Chicago, which includes Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D., will return to NBC on Wednesday, October 1.

Bengaluru: Actor Darshan and co-accused Pavithra Gowda urged Supreme Court to uphold the bail granted to them by Karnataka high court in the sensational Renukaswamy murder case. The apex court had reserved its verdict after a lengthy hearing on Karnataka govt's plea seeking to cancel their bail. In his written submission, Darshan (accused no. 2 in the case) argued that bail should only be revoked in cases of serious violations, none of which apply to him.
