Ryan Tubridy is poised to make a sensational return to Irish living rooms as he is slated to appear on Virgin Media's brand new show, The Assembly. Tubs' return to the Irish broadcasting scene will be a total role reversal as, this time, he is set to go from interviewer to interviewee on the current affairs reality-style show. Virgin Media are set to launch an Irish version of The Assembly early next year, where they will see five Irish personalities being peppered with questions by young people who are neurodivergent. Earlier this month, Tubridy repaid the 150,000 'secret payment' which was at the heart of his exit from RTE more than two years ago. 'Whatever media people may think about Ryan, the fact of the matter is there is an enormous amount public goodwill and support for him amongst the general public. 'He's got a certain kind of a way with people, they just gravitate to Ryan in a way that not many other broadcasters have.'
