How do I get to the 3Arena?
Travelling to 3Arena couldn't be easier. It is situated in the heart of Dublin's docklands which is very well served by public transport including bus, rail and Dart services.
Irish Rail provides a great link to the city from all over the county, bringing you to Connolly or Heuston Station from where you can hop on the Luas, straight to 3Arena.
You can travel to the doorstep of the venue via the Luas Red line. There are extra trams on show nights to cater for the large numbers travelling to and from 3Arena. A full schedule and live information is available on www.luas.ie.
Dublin Bus offers a high frequency and accessible service from all over Dublin to within a 20-inute walk of 3Arena.
The 151 route operates every 10 minutes during rush hour and will leave you on Castleforbes Road, the closest stop to the Venue, just a two-minute walk away.
The last bus departs Castleforbes Road at 11.15pm, Monday to Saturday.
There is limited car parking available in The Point Village car park, but this carpark is not operated by 3Arena.
With large numbers gathering on show nights, traffic congestion can delay your arrival and departure so it's encouraged to use public transport where possible.

Rock star welcome for Pope who poses for selfies at Catholic influencer festival

Pope Leo XIV received a rock star's welcome at the Vatican's festival of Catholic influencers – priests, nuns and ordinary faithful who use their social media presence to preach and teach the faith. He urged them to ensure that human relations do not suffer with the spread of digital ecosystems and artificial intelligence. History's first American pope was mobbed by hundreds of influencers, their mobile phones hoisted high to stream the encounter, when he arrived at St Peter's Basilica after a special mass. The pilgrims have descended on Rome for a special Holy Year celebration of so-called 'digital missionaries', part of the Vatican's week-long jubilee for young people that culminates this weekend with a vigil and mass in a vast field on Rome's outskirts. It is not simply a matter of generating content, but of creating an encounter between hearts Leo thanked the young people for using their digital platforms to spread the faith, and he gamely posed for selfies. But he warned them about neglecting human relationships in their pursuit of clicks and followers, and cautioned them to not fall prey to fake news and the 'frivolity' of online encounters. 'It is not simply a matter of generating content, but of creating an encounter between hearts,' Leo said in a speech that showed his ease switching from Italian to Spanish to English. 'Be agents of communion, capable of breaking down the logic of division and polarisation, of individualism and egocentrism.' He added: 'It is up to us – to each one of you – to ensure that this culture remains human. Our mission – your mission – is to nurture a culture of Christian humanism, and to do so together' in what he called the only networks that really matter: of friendship, love and the 'network of God'. Pope Leo pope greeted influencers at the Vatican (Gregorio Borgia/AP) For the past two days, the Vatican's message to the young influencers has been one of thanks for their social media evangelising, but also a warning to not allow their posting to go off-message or to neglect the human dimension of all encounters. For Leo, the issue is particularly heartfelt since he has said that addressing the threat to humanity posed by AI will be a priority of his pontificate. Tuesday began with groups of influencers and young pilgrims passing through the basilica's Holy Door, a rite of passage for the estimated 32 million people participating in the Vatican's 2025 Holy Year celebrations. This week, downtown Rome swarmed with energetic masses of teenage Catholic scouts, church and Catholic school groups.

'It was wonderful': Jenna Ortega on filming Wednesday in Ireland

Jenna Ortega has praised the kindness of the Irish people and the beauty of the landscape after filming the second season of the Netflix hit Wednesday in the country. The 22-year-old American actress, who reprises her role as Wednesday Addams, the morbid, sharp-witted teenager with psychic powers, said she had never visited the island before working on the new season. The new season sees Wednesday return to the halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. Directed once again by Tim Burton, the latest instalment of the gothic hit welcomes a number of new cast members to the team including Joanna Lumley as Grandmama, Steve Buscemi as Barry Dort, the new principal of Nevermore, and Billie Piper as Isadora Capri, the school's new head of music. Director Tim Burton with Wednesday star Jenna Ortega (Ian West/PA) While the first season was filmed in Romania, the latest instalment of the popular series was shot in various locations around Wicklow, Dublin and Offaly. 'I'd never been to Ireland and it was wonderful,' said Ortega. 'My favourite thing was just how kind the people are, but also the countryside was really nice. I did my best to see as much of the island as I could while I was there. I went north, south, east, west, I went all over. I'm pretty proud of myself.' According to Tourism Ireland, some of the locations used to shoot the new series include Charleville Castle in Co Offaly, Dean's Grange Cemetery in Co Dublin and Ashford Studios in Co Wicklow. Lumley, 79, said: 'I was pretty thrilled, because having filmed there a few times, in Ardmore studios, I didn't know there was a studio even further south of that, and then to come to Ashford Studios was marvellous. 'There's something in Ireland which is slightly otherworldly and it embraced the whole feeling of Wednesday.' Dame Joanna Lumley is joining the cast of Wednesday for its second season (James Manning/PA) Buscemi, 67, famous for his roles in Reservoir Dogs and The Sopranos, said he enjoyed the Guinness. 'I was surprised at how much Guinness I could actually drink every day, never while shooting,' he joked. 'It was so lovely shooting there. The people are amazing.' Ortega added: 'Everything about Ireland was so beautiful and we had such a hard-working crew, and people who really just gave it their all, and were so skilled. 'But the only real challenge we had was fighting the green. It was so green there and it was so bright for the show. Suddenly the Addams looked alive.' Wednesday season two, which sees Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones continuing to play Morticia Addams, comes out on Netflix on August 6 with a first part and a second part coming on September 3. Created by cartoonist Charles Addams, the macabre family have inspired a 1960s TV show, and 1990s films starring Anjelica Huston and Christina Ricci, who also appeared in Wednesday season one as a teacher.
