Report – Inter Milan Consider Audacious Move For Barcelona Veteran Goalkeeper If Yann Sommer Joins Galatasaray

Yahoo16-07-2025
Serie A runners-up Inter Milan have reportedly added Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to their list of targets.
According to L'Interista, the German veteran would be Inter's first choice to replace Yann Sommer.
Though it's a low chance, Yann Sommer could join Galatasaray this summer.
Indeed, the Turkish champions are ready to offer the 36-year-old a lucrative two-year contract.
Meanwhile, Inter would ideally keep the Swiss keeper until the end of next season.
Inter Milan Plot Summer Swoop for Marc-Andre ter Stegen to Replace Yann Sommer
Despite his age, Sommer has proved a dependable option between the sticks since joining the club in 2023.
Furthermore, Inter hope he'll stay at the club until his contract expires next summer.
Yet, Galatasaray's contract offer worth €5 million net per season could change Sommer's mind.
Therefore, Inter must not take the situation lightly, hence interest in Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Like Sommer, the German star is in the autumn of his playing career.
On top of that, he spent most of last season on the sidelines with a knee injury.
