Sad reality of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's life as 'nepo babies'
The term "nepo babies" has been thrown around a lot over the last few years regarding the off-spring of celebrities. And when faced with the question of whether they believe that they fit the mould of a "nepo baby", many are quick to insist that they have carved out their own careers through hard work.
And while Brooklyn Beckham, 26 and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, have attempted to carve out their own careers (with Victoria and David's son dipping his toe into photography, football, modelling and cooking - to name a few), they haven't quite been able to shake off the nepo baby label.
This comes after David Beckham spoke 'as a father' in 'family' announcement after Brooklyn's latest snub.
Their association with the term isn't perhaps helped as they fill their day with mundane tasks which include shopping trips, posting kissing selfies on Instagram and Brooklyn's cooking vlogs.
In a recent post, Brooklyn shared with fans that he was tasked with accompanying his wife on yet another shopping trip.
Taking to the social media platform, he told his followers: "Me waiting for my Mrs to try on clothes ha."
The couple have been at the forefront of attention over recent months after it appeared that a fall out within the family had occurred.
And it does not seem as though the hatchet will be buried any time soon as Brooklyn, who appears estranged from his parents and siblings, failed t6o turn up to any of his dad's 50th birthday celebrations, among many other family occasions.
David and Victoria Beckham have remained tight-lipped over the heart-breaking situation, while Brooklyn's brothers, Cruz and Romeo have reportedly unfollowed the pair.
According to the Mail Plus, despite brand collaborations, Brooklyn and Nicola are happy to glorify their privileged lifestyle.
A source reportedly said: "They don't have proper day jobs. Instead, they just post on Instagram and show off. It's all so ghastly, it's like, 'Look at us, we have so much money'- without actually earning it."
They added: "David and Victoria have worked extremely hard to get what they have and they did their very best to instil that into their children, let's not forget that Brooklyn used to have a job in a café when he turned 14 - but then Nicola came along."
The source continued: "She comes from a different family culture entirely, she just had money thrown at her. Sadly, that seems to have infected Brooklyn."
Over the years Brooklyn has shown an interest in a variety of careers, one of which was following in his father's footsteps as a footballer.
But he soon found a passion for photography and now most recently, his love of cooking and sharing his talent on social media has become his main focus.
Meanwhile Nicola, 30, had starred in Transformers which was a blockbuster hit at the time and had also penned, directed and starred in her own film Lola. However, critics were not best pleased with the production.
Brooklyn's apparent "nepo baby" lifestyle is a far cry from the values his parents instilled in him as a child, if Victoria's past interviews are anything to go by.
In an interview she once said: "They won't be these children that stay at home and don't do anything. They will definitely work."
Victoria was in one of the most successful girl groups in the world. As a Spice Girl, she was known as Posh Spice.
Since the group disbanded in 2001 following Geri Horner's departure a little earlier, Victoria not only tried to carve out a solo career but went on to launch a globally respected fashion house.
David was an international footballer and was hailed as one of the greatest. He now owns his own club in Miami.

But in a huge boost to Frankie, she has cemented her position at ITV even further after bagging a brand new role on the channel. The singer will be appearing as a judge on the upcoming series of ITV's M&S: Dress The Nation. Frankie has launched her own fashion edits on social media in recent years and was always noted for her style during her popstar days. ITV were quick to jump on this and hire her to give her best critique's to the contestants on the hit show. It was revealed earlier this year that Dress The Nation would be back with Vernon Kay and AJ Odudu back in the hot seat to host. A source told the Daily Star of Frankie's casting on the show: "Producers think Frankie is perfect for the show because she's so fashionable." It will no doubt raise the eyebrow of Rochelle, who is a long-standing brand ambassador for Marks & Spencer, which has an active partnership in the programme. Despite rumours of a rift between the ladies, they dropped huge clues recently that all was well between them. Rochelle and Frankie have both been interacting with one another on Instagram by liking a slew of each other's snaps. Rochelle showed her appreciation for Frankie's holiday snaps with Frankie returning the favour on her bandmate's posts - throwing speculation of an ongoing rift out of the window. Watch the awkward moment feuding stars Myleene Klass and Frankie Bridge come face to face on live TV However, neither of the ladies have engaged with Myleene since it emerged that the former Hear'Say singer was feuding with them both. Neither Rochelle or Frankie follow her on social media. All three former pop stars now work as Daytime presenters at ITV. They were all once close, with Loose Women hosts Myleene and Frankie attending Rochelle's hen do back in 2012. However, Rochelle and Frankie remained friends with their former bodyguard and Myleene's ex husband Graham Quinn. 5 There had been rumours of a rift between Frankie and Rochelle Credit: Getty 5 Myleene Klass has reportedly fell out with the stars of The Saturdays Credit: Getty Rochelle even posted snaps with Graham in Ibiza last week. In 2013, soon after Myleene's divorce from Graham, guests at the Glamour Women of the Year awards saw her storm over to Frankie after believing she had been blanked. A source previously said: 'Myleene seemed to take that as Frankie taking sides with Graham because of their working relationship." Meanwhile, Frankie and Myleene have not appeared on Loose Women together since an 'awkward' episode last December. Sources said that though they'd rather not be on together, they are professionals and do their best to make things work.

Peter Andre gushes over wife Emily after blistering Katie Price statement
Peter Andre took to social media over the weekend to pay tribute to his wife as she marks her latest birthday - with his compliments coming days after he threatened to expose ex-wife Katie Price's 'lies' Peter Andre made a gushing tribute to his wife, Emily - amid his explosive fall out with ex-wife Katie Price. Drama has been thrown on the Andre family after Pete lashed out at his troubled ex - accusing her of peddling lies about their family dynamic for years. But over the weekend, he pushed the tension to one side to make his day all about his doctor wife, Doctor Emily Andre, who turned 36. Pop singer Peter, 52, and occasional TV star Emily have been an item since 2012. They married in 2015 and have three children together: Amelia, 11, Theodore James, 8, and one-year-old Arabella Rose. Emily is also stepmother to Peter's two oldest kids: 20-year-old son Junior and 18-year-old daughter Princess. READ MORE: Katie Price's cryptic response to Peter Andre statement in full as she calls herself a 'sinner' On Saturday, Peter made it clear that he and his family adore his wife, sharing a collection of images of her on his Instagram feed, which he also pinned to the top of his page. He gushed in an accompanying statement: "Happy Birthday, Emily. We love you beyond words." The cover image showed Emily flashing a beaming smile while wearing an elegant evening dress and dripping in jewels. While further snaps showed Peter proudly posing alongside her on various sun-soaked holidays. The touching snaps came just days after Peter sensationally lashed out at Katie, 47, after she hinted she had been blocked from taking part in a recent documentary about daughter Princess. The star then went on to suggest Peter join her on her podcast so they could clear the air over their relationship as co-parents. But reacting furiously to the proposal, Peter wrote in a stinging social media post: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today. "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. "In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months." His threat came after Katie previously claimed she was "very, very upset" over being excluded from taking part in an ITV documentary about her oldest daughter. Speaking on her podcast last week, Katie proposed a face-to-face discussion with Peter and her former management The CAN Group, stating: "I feel like I've missed out on so much and it's so not fair to bring Princess as piggy in the middle so I think it's about time all of us adults just sit down and talk about what their beef is with me and just get over it. Life would be such more at peace." She also expressed wishes for herself and Peter to back their children together. Katie proposed: "There's no reason why both parents can't be there to support her." But her suggestion was met with an unexpected rejection from Peter, who is now threatening to leak truths about the nature of their relationship from the past 16 years. Katie has three other children - with eldest son Harvey, 23, from a past romance with footballer Dwigth Yorke. Her two youngest kids, 11-year-old Bunny and 12-year-old Jett, are from her third marriage, which was with Kieran Hayler. The former couple were married from 2013 until their divorce in 2021.

Despite their baby heartbreak, the couple - who got together in 2023 and became engaged in September last year - welcomed son Leo in January this year. What is miscarriage and why do pregnancies fail? MISCARRIAGE is generally the death of an unborn baby in the first 24 weeks – approximately six months – of pregnancy. Miscarriages may not be spoken about a lot but they are very common. Baby loss charity Tommy's estimates there are at least 250,000 per year in the UK and that one in every five pregnancies ends in miscarriage. It may not be clear why a miscarriage happens but they are rarely caused by anything done by the mother or father. Usually the embryo has a random genetic defect that means it cannot develop properly. Most women can go on to successfully have healthy babies in the future. The NHS says most miscarriages cannot be prevented but avoiding smoking, alcohol and drugs while pregnant can reduce the risk. Some of the other most common reasons for a pregnancy to fail in the first 24 weeks are ectopic pregnancy and molar pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is where a fertilised egg implants somewhere outside of the womb, usually in a fallopian tube. It cannot survive and grow there so either dies naturally or must be terminated. Molar pregnancy is rarer but happens when a fertilised egg and/or placenta does not develop properly at the start of a pregnancy. There is no single reason why it happens and cannot be prevented, though it may be more common in very young or old mothers. A baby who dies after 24 weeks is considered a stillbirth.
